THEME: ♬ xxxxx LOCATION:RefugexxxxxOBJECTIVE: Obtain a Starter Pokemon xxxxxCHAPTER: I - Welcome To Coria!!
Bitten waved goodbye to the Professor. "It was nice meeting you miss." The girl turned at observed the Refuge. Such a pretty place.. She thought. Bit wandered around a while looking for a potential pokemon partner. She wanted to find the perfect one for her.
As she walked towards a very nice looking group of Miltank, she heard a yelp. She stepped back. She saw that the grass, or what she thought was grass, she'd just stepped on was wiggling. "A pokemon...?" She said. Up popped a little blue pokemon, it looked like a walking weed. "Oddissh?" Odd Oddd!" The pokemon ran around in circles.
Bitten giggled at the pokemon. "How cute!" She said. The pokemon looked at her and blushed. Bit knelt down to greet the pokemon, "Why hello, little guy." The Oddish smiled at her. Bit tried to distract the pokemon, as she grabbed a stick. She felt bad, but she really wanted this pokemon. Bitten whacked the Oddish on top of it's head. It twirled around and fell down. "Odddd....issh..."
Bit knew this was her chance. Without hesitation, she grabbed a Nest Ball from her bag. "Alright little one! You're mine!!" She yelled as the tossed the ball. The capsule smacked the Oddish and sucked the pokemon inside. It wobbled around. Bitten waited, she was so excited..

╔════════════════════╗ Keeta╚════════════════════╝ “...”Pokemon: None A curious young girl peeked out from behind the Professor. Her eyes were wide with curiosity of what may have possibly been behind the door. It was a bit scary for her. Her Daddy had sent her here to make new friends, and she was told Professor Rose would help her. She still felt out of place though clinging to her leg rather than Daddy's... As her eyes adjusted to the light as they stepped foot inside the refuge, Keeta started to step forward now. This was the first time she hadn't clung to the Professor since getting there. It seemed that the presence of Pokemon nearby was beginning to calm her. Feeling more at home, the girl took a few more steps as her eyes met with a nearby Pokemon looking up from drinking some water. As it stared at her, she waved happily at it. She was a bit surprised though to see the gesture scare it off so easily. It had only been a hello! Quickly she ran in after it trying to see what had gone wrong, only stopping when she bumped in to something and fell backwards on her bum.
"Oow..." she moaned as she rubbed at her backside. "Hmm? .... Huh?!" It was a shock when she looked forward to see her own reflection! Standing there in front of her was a girl who looked exactly like her! Confused, Keeta looked directly at them blinking. But that couldn't be her. She was her! Suddenly the other girl started giggling, and in a bright flash they transformed. Keeta gave off a little scream as a small black and red dog-like Pokemon smiled up at her. Apparently it had thought it was only a game, but upon opening its eyes from giggling it noticed the girl was crouched back in fear. Had it really scared her that badly? It frowned a bit concerned, before stepping more towards the child. Keeta merely cowered back more as the small Pokemon began to nuzzle at her knee. It tried to tell her it was alright... it wasn't going to hurt her at all. Trembling, Keeta forced herself to reach out and pat the Pokemon on its head in response to the gesture. It seemed to give a happy playful yip in response, but then it frowned again. Clearly the child wasn't comfortable enough to travel alongside it, but the little Pokemon wasn't done yet with what it hoped to be its new friend. If it couldn't travel with her, maybe it could help her find something else in the refuge that would be more suiting. Nipping at her hand lightly, the Pokemon began to pull the girl forward and on to her feet. The Pokemon began to run ahead of her, and yip more playfully than before. It seemed excited as it ran back towards her yipping even more, then running forward again. It seemed to want her to follow. Keeta checked around her, unsure at first, but she didn't want to just ignore the little guy. It hadn't really done anything bad to her and clearly had something to show her. Finally giving a nod, she began to run a bit after it keeping up. The little black and red dog yipped as it went down the path, looking off in different directions as they went. Occasionally a Pokemon's head would pop up to see what all the noise was about. Keeta waved as they continued past, the dog seeming to look at each one shaking its head along the way. This continued for a while, until finally a small head peeked up from out of a nearby pool of water. It was there the dark dog-like Pokemon stopped and barked happily calling back. The girl was still catching up. "hmm? Ah!" She wasn't sure what to expect at first, but it was quite the delight when a cute little head with large black eyes found itself staring back at her. Keeta's eyes herself seemed to gleam happily as se approached it and gave a pat on its head. The little dog Pokemon looked pleased with what it had done for the young starting trainer. It smiled seeing her examine the tiny snake-like dragon Pokemon in the water. It was the next part that would be tough for the little dog. Feeling a bit of regret that it wouldn't be leaving the refuge with the girl itself... the Pokemon felt there was only one thing left to do before parting with the girl. Wiping the smile off its face, it turned towards the little snake in the water and shined its eyes with a leer. With that, the little dog parted. The girl didn't seem to understand what had just happened, but she was thankful for the pup's help that day. It had found a cute new friend for her! Beginning to think that this may become her friend she held out a pokeball, as if asking the Pokemon a question.
"Drat...?" It tilted its head to the side... seeming a bit unsure. Keeta wondered if it had understood the question. Maybe it would help if she knew a little more about the Pokemon itself now. What had the Professor given her earlier? It had been a red electronic book of some sort... Pulling that out Keeta opened it and held it up to see what would happen. Sure enough, the device recognized the Pokemon and displayed a similar full body picture, reading back the name "Dratini". "oooh...." Keeta hadn't expected such a cute Pokemon to have such a snake-like body. It looked squirmy in the picture, but here it didn't look so bad at all. Starting to hold the picture up to the little Dragon now she held up the ball again, then pointed at the picture with a smile. "Dra... Tini? Ni!" It seemed questioning again, before realizing now that this girl was a trainer. She certainly didn't come off as one. She was very quiet compared to other ones, and appeared more like she wanted to play. The Dratini thought about it for a moment, then jumped out of the water calling out with a squeal and a smile as it landed on the girl and began to wrap around her. Huh... so it seemed the little one wanted to play too... The two rolled around a bit, almost as if wrestling with the small girl winning... or was she losing? All she was doing was rolling around laughing as the Pokemon stayed wrapped around her. She was rolling all over it! The two kept making a bunch of laughter and bickering noises of possible enjoyment and play until suddenly there was a crashing rustle through the bushes and then a splash in the water as the two fell in... one of Keeta's Pokeballs seemed to fall out of her grasp sinking directly towards the Pokemon before floating back up to the surface. It was unclear to the girl at first if it had caught anything inside. She looked around to see if the Dratini was anywhere in sight to pop its head out of the water and back at her...

╔════════════════════╗ Saria Sixpence ╚════════════════════╝ “Please try to enjoy yourself!” Pokemon: NA "Sixty", armed with her three pokeballs and a pokedex, started wandering off into the grassy areas keeping her eyes open for any pokemon that might be hiding nearby or even playing. I hope I find someone as happy to play with as myself!, she thought. Her eyes caught a vibrant multitude of pokemon, at least in shades of green, to her. She could see a metapod, an oddish, and even a bulbasaur. But none of those tickled her fancy...
But there it was, a pokemon that entailed all sorts of features.... bunnylike, doglike, catlike, even foxlike! It might not have been green, but it sure looked pretty. Unfortunately, the eevee looked awful lonely around here. Maybe it's sad because of all the grass and bug and poison types that surround it! she thought. But there was something about it that just encouraged her to try talking to it just a bit more. Maybe it was the sulking appearance and how that conflicted with her view on things, but she just had to do something about that!
"Why hello there, lil eevee!" Sixty spoke in a soft, high pitched voice, slowly approaching with her hand out. The eevee turned to look and blinked a few times, seeming curious it had been called out to but still a little on the sad side. It wagged its tail for the first time since she'd spotted it, even if it was a little bit of a twitch than a wag.
"Would you like to hear a little bit of music?" Sixty asked. Before the eevee could react, her ocarina was already out, as if she'd been playing it for ages... as if it was a part of her, even. Her fingers wrapped around and put out an upbeat tone, to which several other pokemon began to chirp in on from behind . This intrigued the eevee, its ears perking straight up. Its wagging became more and more noticeable until it started to yip in rhythm, though a bit off key.
Sixty didn't mind though. She played and played, just happy she could cheer the poor thing up! As her song came to a close, the eevee was all energetic, almost begging on its hind legs yipping happily. Sixty smiled.
All of a sudden, the eevee pounced with a tackle, catching Sixty a bit off guard! "Eeep! Hehe!" Sixty seemed unharmed in the slightest as she laid underneath her new friend. "How'd you like to come with me?" she asked, holding up a pokeball.
The eevee looked behind Sixty seeing all of the other various pokemon that had been surrounding her until then, and its tail lowered, almost wondering if it'd be better if one of those other pokemon should accompany her. They looked more foresty...
Sixty seemed to catch this, and shook her head. "No silly, I really mean you!" The eevee got off of Sixty and sat for a moment, blinking its eyes and tilting its head, almost as if asking why it.
Sixty's gaze seemed to go blank for a moment, at least to the eevee.... but to Sixty, it seemed more like a trance. She could see light.... lots of it, and what seemed to be a small flying pokemon in the distance... and she swore she could hear this pokemon calling to her.
". . . young old one, teach your ways to the pokemon of this world . . . " ". . . you have chosen wisely . . ."
That's what she swore she heard, before closing her eyes and shaking her head. Where was she again? Oh, right, the eevee she wanted to take with her. It looked a bit confused now, and Sixty wondered how long she'd been standing there with a blank gaze. "Um, right! Well, here goes..." She let the pokeball go after the eevee...

Yaminga HanawujiLocation: Rose’s Pokemon Refuge Pokemon: N/A Important Items: Pokeball x3, Full Canteen, Wallet It was the chance Ya had been waiting for. “Thank you, ma’am. Now time to catch me a Dark type!” He had been through so much pain and suffering before this moment that he reveled in this moment. He then entered a place unfamiliar to him. The refuge was a large place that was full of greenery and… grass! This isn’t like Pyrite at all, he thought, but that’s a good thing! No more Duel Square, no more Miror B, no more worrying about when I can even eat! He ran into the refuge and started to just enjoy this scenery he had stumbled upon. But he had a mission! He was to catch a Dark type, whether it killed him or not. He had carefully looked around the refuge, citing where different types of Pokémon were in case he needed them. “I can’t find anything in this god-forsaken place. Where are all the Dark types?!” He had walked past countless Pokémon, including a Mareep, a Mankey, a Spinarak, and a few others he couldn’t place. That’s when he saw it: A Seedot. He knew that it evolved into a Grass and Dark type, something he loved very well. This Seedot was sleeping near a tree, as comfortable as something with no arms can be. Knowing that he would most likely spook it away if he approached it directly, he snuck behind the tree, being careful to hold onto his chain wallet to prevent it from jingling. He poised his Pokeball and dropped it on the unsuspecting acorn.

Yaminga Hanawuji Location: Rose’s Pokemon Refuge Pokemon: N/A Important Items: Pokeball x2, Full Canteen, Wallet ”Well, that’s ain’t good!” Ya said, visibly frustrated at his failure to capture this Seedot. The Orre region was not a place that really had wild Pokémon, so he was a newbie at this type of thing. He had really only stolen his previous Pokémon. Then, the Seedot angrily growled at Ya, now aware of the blonde’s presence. He had his nap disturbed, and he wasn’t having it. Yami knew that he would have to fight it if it was going to be his friend. He looked around the area that they were facing off, and he spotted a somewhat thick branch. Being the speedy thing he is, he rushed to it and picked it up, catching the Seedot off guard. Poised for the attack, he whacked the Seedot relentlessly. The Seedot whimpered, remembering it’s previous Trainer who abandoned him after beating him into submission. As Yami stopped to throw the Pokeball, he saw the Seedot quivering in place. Remembering his own experiences as a homeless youth, he went to the acorn and comforted it. “I’m sorry, little guy. I know it’s tough out in the world, but I need friends to help me get through it.” He stood away from the acorn and showed the second pokeball to it. ”If you want to be my friend, stay in the ball. If not, then I won’t bother you anymore. Deal?”Ya said, throwing the pokeball at the Seedot.

╔════════════════════╗ Saria Sixpence ╚════════════════════╝ “Please try to enjoy yourself!” Pokemon: ♂ Sixty turned her head as the ball clicked only to see.... a strange ritual, she guesses she would call it? Though, she couldn't recall any sort of ritual that involved beating a pokemon with a large stick.... making a face, she grabbed her pokeball with her eevee still inside, and slowly crept away from the area.... at least until she was sure she couldn't be seen anymore. Then she just kinda bolted. o_o
I hope other trainers aren't like that, she thought. She almost wondered what eevee would have thought about that, but there were more important places to go next! ♂ lv.5
