❝ At one point or another Karth had changed his mind about heading to the Mizukage's office. Not only would it mean the man would have some form of work for them to do, which he very much did not want to do, but they would probably have to stand there and wait for decades before they actually got to meet him, and that was if he was even still there. When his butterfly had gotten there he had noticed the Mizukage, just before that nosy woman had somehow found it and crushed it in her grasp. At that moment he had gotten to despise her very existence, and even now he had yet to say two words to her. Keeping it that way was the best thing for him to do at the moment, otherwise he would end up destroying her and getting into trouble with the higher ups. Karth didn't think that Kiyoko minded not heading towards the Mizukage just yet either. They were master procrastinators, able to holdout for as long as they pleased. It wasn't like the village was under red alert or something. "You wanna know what I think sister dearest? I think everyone in this village is too full of themselves." And that was only the handful that he had met so far. They all seemed like people he would end up disliking very much given further incentive. "There were those two guys at the spa. I already don't like that one that dared accuse me of doing something so vile. That other one talked and acted like he had a huge tree up his a**." He was obviously talking about the two Uchiha from before. "There's that woman that came into the hot springs last. She was the same one that somehow found my butterfly in the Mizukage's office and crushed it. That alone put her on my list. She's also an Uchiha wannabe judging from her attitude." There were so many Uchiha-esque people in Kirigakure alone that it would mean the end of the world if another came. Everyone was too serious; acted as if they were better than people, and god forbid that one day they try to 'cleanse' him from the earth for being different. "Honestly, the only person I've met so far who isn't a complete snooze fest has to be Rey. Even though he's an Uchiha, I like him. The best part is, he doesn't even use his true last name, which reminds me of myself a bit." He was of course talking about their father and the fact that he had not taken on his last name. It was always a sore topic for him whenever it came to light. About how he was a child of rape; their father having raped his mother and thus he was born. Kiyoko had had it easy seeing as the b*****d had married her mother for love before having her. And he had been faithful to her while she was growing up. But Karth could never forgive him, even in death. He sat on one of the bleachers, looking down to the inner field of the stadium. "It's been a while since we talked about any of it. I usually just tend to change the topic huh?" ❞

KiyokoOikawa --------------------- ChuuninIce♦User --------------------- [Enter from...I forgot where I was before]
It seemed that Karth changed his mind and altered the route they were walking on. Instead of heading ot the Mizukage's office, the male took his sister to the entrance of the village's stadium. It was not like Kiyoko was bothered by that, in fact she even enjoyed seeing as she was not going to be obliged to go on some mission. The girl did not know why though, it had been Karth himself who said they were going to head to the Mizukage's office. She walked beside him, wondering if he was going to say something until he eventually did. He started to talk about the people of the village, how they were full of themselves. Kiyoko could not say the same for sure since she did not know many other than those she took examinations with and some of her former teachers in the academy. Most of the people she often saw around the village lately were strangers though. He went on by talking about the two males they met in the spa and how he was accused of trying to do something to his sister. 'I would not have resisted though...' she thought but obviously she could not bring herself to say that out loud, specially since the thought alone was already enough to embarrass her. When he mentioned a woman though, in the hot springs, she could not help but be bothered by that. "Woman? So you were looking at the women who walked into the hot springs?" she said, as if on purpose her brain made her overlook the fact that he said the female crushed a butterfly he had made before and that she was put on his list of people he dislikes.
When she heard him mention Rey, the only person he called by the name so far, she could not think of anyone else other than the guy he took to the hospital. It bothered her though that Karth mentioned the fact that he doesn't use his father's surname. Kiyoko knew of his story and how her father was cruel to Karth's mother, she just could not see how the father who raised her to kindly was that kind of monster. She, however, knew he was not lying as there were proofs of her father's crime, something that hurt her deeply when she found out about the truth. The one thing Kiyoko still can't understand though is how Karth has no grudge towards her, even though she was the child born out of their father's love and not simply a moment of madness and lust. When Karth sat on one of the bleachers and turned his gaze to the stadium, his following words made Kiyoko act before thinking. She nearly jumped on him, hugging him tightly, of course not so tightly since she did not have that much strength. "It is fine if you don't want to talk about it." she responded to his words, speaking softly to him. It was not like she wanted to avoid the topic, she simply did not want to see her brother feeling sad because he was thinking of the suffering caused by their father.

❝ During a certain point in his speech he had stopped talking to turn and look at Kiyoko as she had interrupted him to ask if he had been looking at the women in the hot springs. In all honesty it took him a few seconds to properly gather his thoughts to give her an answer, but when he finally caught on to her words he became embarrassed, exceedingly so. "O-of course not! It was just that one that I was saying I dislike. She crushed my beautiful art." By art he meant the butterfly he had created of course. Karth knew that he would never get along with that woman if they ever should meet in person and talk. In any event, he continued with what he was saying, caught completely unawares when his sister fell down to his height on the bleachers and hugged him. Instinctively he flung his own arms around her and wrapped them in a tight embrace; not too tight of course. He felt compelled to remain in that same position forever. A single teardrop fell from his eye and onto Kiyoko's shoulder, and the warmth of it would become evident against her chilled skin. "No. No. We have to talk about it sometime. Sooner would be better than later." Reluctantly, ever so slowly, he released his grip around her, allowing her to move back and sit beside him if she so chose. Resting his elbows on either of his thighs, he balled one hand over the other and held rested his lips on them. It was a posture that spoke of deep thought. Karth was wondering where would be the best place to start at, and after about a full minute or so of thinking he settled on simply starting from the beginning. "I know I don't say this very often. At all for that matter, but I don't blame you for any of it. I could never blame you for anything." She was a perfect little angel in his eyes. Even if she had murdered someone for no reason at all he would exhaust every method of justification as to her motive, swearing to his grave that she had been provoked and had done it in self defense or even take the blame himself. It just went to show the lengths that he would go for his sister. "The man was simply a b*****d. Yet still my mother could never find it in herself to hate him even a little bit. She always keeps saying 'at least I got you out of it Karth', and every time she says that I get even more upset because I can't help but think it's my fault why it happened to her." His logic? Screw logic! He had been the result of the rape and as such he felt the rape was his fault. ❞

KiyokoOikawa --------------------- ChuuninIce♦User --------------------- The response she hoped that he would not give was fortunately the opposite from what he said. Karth's reply to Kiyoko asking if he was looking at other women was to defend himself by saying that she was the one who crushed his art, a person he simply could not forgive. I-Is that so?" she asked with a tone that showed she had nothing to say in protest. And when things came down to the hug she gave in an attempt to comfort him, or to make him not want to think about those sad things related to their past. However, he was against remaining silent about that matter. Even though he hugged her back in response to her attempt to comfort him, he released his grip as a sign that he wanted to talk. She refused to let go at first, but slowly removed her arms from around him. "Onii-san..." she uttered, without any intention of making that an interruption of what he was about to say. As he positioned himself in a comfortable position, Kiyoko sat right beside him, looking at him all the time even if his gaze was not directed at her. "I...why is it that you don't blame me? I can't understand. Anyone would hate me because of what happened, because of what dad did to your mom and then...I was born..." she talked back to him even though he said he did not blame her. When he said that his mother could not bring herself to hate their father, Kiyoko was even more at loss, but she somewhat understood her point when Karth said that at least she got him because of it. She utterly disagreed though that Karth could ever think it was his fault, their father was the monster, not him. "You aren't at fault for anything onii-san. Plus, I also agree with your mom, even though it was sad what happened, it is thanks to it that you are here." even though it could be seen as if she was simply trying to comfort him, she was being completely honest about it. She was glad that she had Karth as brother, after all...she loves him. Even though he could be against it since he wanted to talk about this important topic, Kiyoko clinged to him, wrapping her arm around his.

❝ "I guess I'm just weird like that then huh?" He grinned at her then, trying to make a joke out of it all. Of course he didn't blame her for any of it, but he didn't know how else to convince her other than to keep doing what he had been doing over all the years. He had never once given her reason to doubt that he didn't think she was the center of his world. He had never even mentioned the whole issue other than in passing before. But he had never even thought that she was to blame. She was simply an innocent party born of the man whom he had all the pent up rage for. And as if to prove a point, her words just now made it that much clearer. Kiyoko and his mother both agreed on the subject that he was not to blame for what their father did. He still didn't believe it as well as he should have, but he didn't argue against it either. If anything he simply feigned acceptance of her words for now. "Thanks. I'll take your word for it." He leaned in a bit closer as support for her when she leaned towards him. It was so adorable to see brother and sister getting along so well. He would drop the topic again, as simply talking about it was leaving a bad taste in his mouth. He supposed they should stop holding out now though and go finally see the Mizukage, but he wouldn't if Kiyoko didn't want to. "Kiyoko? What do you wanna do now?" He would let decide their course and then he would go from there. ❞

KiyokoOikawa --------------------- ChuuninIce♦User --------------------- 'Believe me onii-san, you are not weird...' she thought after Karth mentinoed he was just weird like that. If he had any knowledge of what often popped up in her mind, the boy would indeed be surprised. It was a good thing though he was no mentalist so her thoughts were safe. But even so, things she did from time to time could somewhat make one guess that she had certain feelings towards her brother. Afterwards, seeing as Karth accepted what she had to say about her agreeing with his mother, Kiyoko was a bit relieved. She hoped that he would not keep thinking about those things again, but she also knew that was something that would not happen so suddenly. When the question came, about what she wanted to do now, there was a part of her who wanted to continue procrastinating but there was also another part of her who wanted to get back to work. Kiyoko was not exactly lazy, she simply enjoyed things other than working, but she knew fully well how responsible she had to be considering she was a chuunin. "Let's go meet Su...Susie? No...Susan?" she could not really remember the Mizukage's name. "Agh whatever, let's go meet the Mizukage!" but she did remember that it was a girl's name, in her opinion at least.
--------------------------------------------"..You ether follow the rules.."-------------------------------------------
Shura sighed as she slowly walked down into the center of the stadium. She had sent a lightning clone off for her house to retrieve a book and two useful items that her father left her that she would need. 'I'll show them dad, I'll show them what even you couldn't perfect..' Shura thought to herself as she reached the bottom of the stairs and walked out into the center of the stadium. By the time she got out there and sat down criss-cross style her clone had come running into the stadium. It brought her the things she requested, but Shura only took the book and a jar from the clone leaving it with just a small black bat.
"Alright, lets see what we got here." Shura said to herself mostly as she opened up the rather old looking book. The book was on the art of Senjutsu and how to wield it in battle. It was something her father left behind for Shura, and was something that he had almost mastered in his prime. The first few pages of the book were just the known history of Senjutsu that was provided from the Toads of Mount Myoboku. But after that it described how one could use Senjutsu in combat through learning something called Sage Mode. This is what Shura was more interested in, so she prepared to train. [1/10]
Shura first started by showing her clone what it was supposed to due if something occurred during the training. Then she opened the jar to reveal some oil from a spring on Mount Myoboku that her father had acquired. She carefully poured a little in her hand then spread the oil across her forearms. At first she couldn't tell if the oil was working, but after a minute she started to feel a foreign chakra start entering her body. Shura closed her eyes and began concentrating on balancing her chakra's, but it was rather hard seeing as the natural chakra was quite strong. [2/10]
Due to the natural chakra being strong Shura felt her body start to change. That's when she felt her clone whack her in the head with the black bat, which she had learned had the power to dispel senjutsu chakra. This of course hurt, but she felt her body return to normal. Shura sighed as she concentrated on balancing the chakra's more. This time she felt her chakra start to over power the natural chakra, so she started holding back. [3/10]
By holding back too much Shura felt her body start to change again and become a little bloated like a frogs. This almost made her panic but then she felt her clone hit her in the back of the head again and the transformation stopped. "God that hurts..." Shura mumbled as she opened her eyes and placed a hand where the clone hit her. Her clone simply gave her a shrug and a motion for her to keep trying. "Yeah, yeah. I know already.. This isn't easy ya know.." Shura told the clone as she took a drink of water then quickly had to re-balance her chakra's since the natural chakra was being sucked in through the oil a little quickly. [4/10]
About now Shura was getting good at balancing the chakra's in her body, but she still was having trouble. She constantly kept getting whacked still since her balance wasn't close to perfect. But she kept going. 'Maybe if i try more natural chakra?' Shura wondered to herself as she let in more natural chakra to see if it made a difference. Of course she had to in turn up her reserve of chakra to try and balance the two out. Luckily the two seemed balanced enough, but her normal chakra was just over powering the natural chakra a little. [5/10]
At this point Shura was quite tired, but she kept chugging along with her training. 'Man.. If only i could balance this stupid stuff..' Shura thought to herself as she was a bit irritated that the natural chakra was hard to harness. She tried keeping her mind blank but this only caused her to loose focus, thus she started to transform again. Her clone merely sighed as it whacked her with the bat, it of course had fun hitting the original Shura. Shura mumbled some non-appropriate words under her breath as she started trying to gather the correct amount of chakra again. [6/10]
This time Shura could tell she was tired since she couldn't even balance the chakra a little. Her clone was forced to whack her with the bat then let her rest. "Man, I dont know what I'm doing wrong.. I get so close but then I cant do it.." Shura said with a sigh as she stared up into the stands of the Stadium. That's when she spotted a simple squirrel just sitting still on a ledge. It hit her then that the key to learning the technique was to stay absolutely still. Her clone even looked within the book and confirmed that that was the only way to successfully gather natural chakra. [7/10]
With that figured out Shura sat completely still and closed her eyes focusing on her chakra as her clone put more oil on her arms. She could feel the natural chakra enter her body, but this time she was ready. She simply started to try and equal the amount of natural chakra with her own after trapping the natural chakra in her body. This of course didn't work like she hoped and she ended up pushing the natural chakra out of her body with her own chakra. But Shura didn't give up so easily, so she prepared herself for another go at it. [8/10]
Shura focused as she pulled natural chakra into her body and tried to balance her normal chakra with it. She could tell that she was insanely close to a perfect balance, but she still hadn't perfected it. She tried a little more natural chakra but that made her start to transform, thus her clone had to hit her to prevent the transformation. 'So close that time..' Shura thought as she gathered up a decent amount of her normal chakra and prepared herself to try one more time. She was sure this would be the last try, and she was ready to surpass her father. [9/10]
Shura took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as she got ready to try once more. This time Shura brought in a good amount of natural chakra, then tried to balance it with her own. Her first attempt failed as her clone had to hit her with the bat. But she then proceeded to try once more before she gave up, so Shura started gathering Natural chakra and trying to balance it in her body. After a few moments Shura felt a perfect balance between the chakra's as her clone gave a gasp. Upon entering sage mode Shura's face gained a blue dot in the middle of her forehead, darkened pigments around her eyes, and a blue swirl mark under each eye that also had a line going down each cheek (looks like a swirly blue lollipop under each eye). [10/10 Sennin Moodo - Hermit Mode learned]
Shura opened her eyes and stood up facing her lightning clone, which dispersed under the chakra pressure Shura exerted. "So this is Sage Mode?" Shura asked no one in particular as she felt the difference in her chakra for the first time. She of course felt stronger, but she also found that she had the ability to sense chakra around her like a sensory shinobi. She grinned as she then picked up the book and read through Sage Modes capabilities, which were vast but also had their weaknesses. Once she was done Shura simply exited sage mode of her own accord and walked off to find something else to do.

"This place is a huge!" Zane exclaimed as he entered the stadium. At the moment, there were several shinobis fighting against one another in epic sparring matches. Supervisors had their attention on the matches to ensure that neither one of them went too far. It would seem that the name Bloody Mist doesn't pertain to Kirigakure anymore. This could be a perfect place for Luo and Zane to have their spar. They had both agreed that once they were done with a few missions, they would spar each other and test each other's strengths. Zane was starting to get used to the weights he was wearing as he made a lap around the entire stadium. Nothing was going on that was out of the ordinary so Zane decided it was time to head out and leave to another area of Kirigakure.
