Symbolon Could we make a temporary subforum for graphic artists working on making the thread layout?
If possible, a thread that details what content needs to be in the thread would be helpful as well.
If I manage to finish an order tonight, I'll help out with graphics.
EDIT :: It would be helpful to have a roleplay premise hammered out, too, or at least a setting for people to jump in on. That would be helpful! biggrin I don't think a subforum would really be necessary seeing as we want to have this thing ready in a day or two. Just go ahead and act on your own accord, and we can edit text after we get the graphics looking right. We probably won't have time to do any art, but I'm positive that Robayn can whip up a great plot for us in a hurry. xd Although, something to consider might be some sort of simple contest with sketch prizes. I almost forgot! We already have an advertising committee subforum we can use for getting this together! heart

Artists still need to know what to title each post, e.g. Rules, Contests, etc. Perhaps we just put the info int the first post of this thread?

If you could make a few standard graphics - main header, a mini header, and possibly some dividers - and we can insert the text after, if you are keen to begin right away. We should have the titles ready by tonight or tomorrow morning, though.

Okay! Since Robayn gave me the go-ahead, here's what we're going to do! Since the event ends on the 4th, we are going to show our test thread to Ebony on the Thursday the 30th, and hopefully launch it that day. This will be a walk-in RP, but go ahead and be making a camp avi for yourselves. Here are some further specifics I threw together in the interest of time:
Banner Orders
Main header has text, "Annual Ball Bunk"
Regular headers have text, "About the Annual Ball, Characters, Rules, Setting, and Contests"
These should be on a nature-looking background in sunken wooden lettering (or something else that looks natury) if possible.
Contests
A page posting contest seems to be the most expedient contest at this point. If anyone is willing to donate sketches as prizes, please let me know.
Characters
Male camp councilor (insert name here) - Knows how to survive off of pinecones, loves to complain
Female camp councilor (insert name here) - Pretty much Captain obvious, can make just about any arts and crafts object at the spur of the moment
Computer nerd (insert name here) - Didn't want to be at camp, but parents sent him/her anyway, likes to avoid physical activity if possible
Miss popularity (insert name here) - Preppy, Barbie type girl, very funny about getting dirty, and a huge flirt
Goth kid (insert name here) - Why is this kid even at camp? Writes a ton of depressing poetry and horror stories during story time
That should get a working cast together for them to look and find people to go to! Just say who you would like to be, and let me know your availability this next week. We need people who can be on at least an hour or two a day while this thing is going.
As for everyone else, we will add you to our list of RPers, but you can come up with your own characters like everyone else. Just help keep things going, and answer questions if anyone asks. heart
