Yami stared blankly at Auren for a minute "Same rules as laast time. Dobn't be a hero, and don't die. Also Tolly says he's going to be a bit late meeting up with us at the third intersection up ahead of us." she mumbled softly, creating some fireballs in her hand.
I'm alright. Or well...as alright as one can be when one is being attacked she said in a cherry voice.

Auren heard the change in pitch, and noticed that the new inhabitants had found someone. "Uh oh, come on." He said quietly while silently drifting forward. He kept to the shadows, hoping to the gods that Yami would do the same. Silent as shadow, he slipped forward and saw the large pack of Demons slithering forward to Toleranth.
He turned to Yami and whispered as quietly as he could. "Don't make a sound."
Well, maybe he sould've just put his hand on her face, as half of them turned towards him and Yami.
"Lovely, okay gentle-demons, if you want it, come and get it." He snarled as he stepped into the torchlight. Perhaps he looked like a Demon, after all, his armor was pretty massive, he had a light crimson coat, which wasn't there to begin with, and his helmet, had the shape of a Dragon. All in all, he must look like one of them.

Tolly welcomed the fact half decided to focus their attention on someone else, but catching a glimpse at that someone else he growled. Now they were in some danger.
auren, get ahold of yami, and just hold onto her, being that she is half demon it will take her too
Tolly opened a small box, and the demons began to be pulled into it like a vacuum cleaner, the strong winds dragging them towards tit despite their futile attempts.

Yami remained perfectly silent, standing behind auren, but still in the shadows so she couldn't be seen. She picked up on what TOlly had said, and saw hat was happening to the demons and almost instantly grabbed on to auren as tight as she possibly could.

Auren stood down, goggling at the magic box Toleranth had, and when they were gone...
"What, the hell was that?" He asked quietly. He returned Mishizuri to its slot on its armor, and walked forward, rasing the visor on his helmet, and on second appearences, it wasn't a Dragon, but a Wyvern.
"Good to see you finally showed up. We were getting bored."

Yami grumbled and finally let go of him, but only after she'd squeezed a bit tighter. She sighed slightly, stepping out from behind Auren, still keeping perfectly silent, and smiled at Tolly.

She'd taken a couple of hits by now though the demon ranks seemed to be thinning finally. There was a sudden wind and a bunch of demons disappearshe'd conjured out of shadows and she knew that it wouldn't last long because it was already feeling light in her hand. Her last dagger had been snapped by the jaws of a dying hyena demon. The blade made of shadow waed, all she had left was a sword s sharper than her daggers but it put a lot of stress on her mind to maintain it through the haze of battle.
She winced as a wound on her side stretched because she moved her left arm to quickly. She really would rather NOT die here...though the ranks had thinned, there were still more demons around than she could count...
Through a crystal ball a lone figure watched the battle. She was sitting alone in a hospital ward and she was fidgeting with the hem of her nurses uniform. The castle alarms had sounded by now...the horrid sound of a dying animal was the sound made for an invasion, then all the fireplaces would flare and the flames would turn purple. It meant that you should try to stay where you are and wait until they turned green which meant that all was clear. The flames were still purple and it had been quite a while now. She had just graduated from the healer academy and was still rather green. The crystal ball was standard issue for the Healer's Wing. It showed what was going on in the battle so the nurses and docters could get ready to treat any patients that were delivered. Right now, the nurse didn't think she needed to set up anything, anyone that was still alive either wasn't wounded or didn't look as though they were going to get out alive...

"Well, I'll leave you guys to whatever. Toleranth, I'm sure you can take over from here... Sorry about the dress. She moaned about it and I fixed the problem. I'll see you later, I guess." With that Auren closed the helmet and stalked off, keeping to the shadows.
The next crowd of demons, can only be called a mob. Plain and simple, and there were a lot of them. Stretching again, he drew Mishizuri, and stepped into the light where he felt just about every eye turn upon him.
"Good Evening. I hope you don't mind going back to Hell now." Auren said quite loudly. He then waved them forward. IF anything it would take a while to hack through the mess of demons, but, it'd be a good work out, and from the looks of things, unless they overran him, they couldn't do much to him.

Yami glared as he left an d grabbed Tolly's hand and dragged him along with her as she took off after Auren, making sure to keep to the shadows and stay quiet on her feet. SHe paused and gave Tolly a quick kiss on the cheek, before letting his hand go.
(gonna pretend her dress had long sleeves..)
Yami pulled out two daggers, one from each sleeve, and cut her sleeves so tha they were short, and easier to work with. She sighed as she heated them up and silently continued moving through the shadows, attempting to sneek up on the demons, and auren.

After seeing the Armed human and Half Demon run off, then the elegant one, Tairon knew something was up. (That and the fact that the armed one yelled some stuff) Running in their direction, he decided to see what was up. At the time Tolleranth opened up his magicy box, Tairon felt a slight tug, nothing more (not in demon form right now). "What the hell have I gotten myself into?"

Tolly still held the box in his hands at the ready, and looked at Yami. "If I didn't know any better I think ou were giving me a thank god your here kiss. However we should get moving, there is allot more to do, and we need to make sure the people are safe. Auren can take care of himself, he'll thank me later for enchanting his armor with a fraction more durbility. For the big demons I know he loves to pick fights with."
Tolly went to move catching sight of someone just visible, and he turned around, pointing a finger at Tairon. "Move out slow, move in the wrong fashion and I cut loose on the box till your in it."

Tairon slowly moves into Tolleranth's view with his hands up. "Uhh...Hi. Any idea what's going on? I'd rather not be put in a box, if you please." Noticing Yami's...new look, he asks, "Yami, what the heck happened to your dress?"
Edit!: Ok, I'll be at my friend's house for a bit ('til 9-ish) so if I don't post, that's why. My character will follow Yami and Tolleranth unless told otherwise while I'm gone. Spoof can control him if she wants, but otherwise, he's mine! *guards Tairon and growls at anyone other than Spoof who tries to control him*

Yami smikrked staring at Tairon "I had a friend shorten it. You can't exactly fight in a dress, makes movement difficult. And the sleeves lost their purpose once these were out." she motioned to the blades.
Yami looked at Tolly "Don't put him in the box. He's a friend. His name is Tairon. And yes I'm very grateful you're here. But that wasn't all of it."

"Ah, so there's a fight going on? Would you need use of my earth magic? Or perhaps my demon form's claws? Or both? I can use my magic while in my other form, just not as well as I can now. As long as you don't suck me up into that box, I'll help out."

The nurse was still twisting her skirt hem around when an announcement blared. It sounded as though it was coming from the fireplace.
'Please remain calm, the Citadel is under demon attack. If everyone would please evacuate to the nearest safe house and remain calm...Please remain calm, the Cita....'
The announcement repeated itself and the nurse, whom I will now reveal as Houka, began to change into more suitable attire for self-defense. All she could use was a staff and throwing knives, but it would have to be enough until she got to the safehouse.
It is at this moment that I will explain the concept of the safehouses in relation to the caves and tunnels that ran throughout the Esperanzian Mountain range. In the basement of each safehouse was an entrance to a tunnel that could be taken to a nearly invisible exit on the opposite side of the mountains surrounding the Citadel and surrounding village/city. There were several different ones and they were at no apparent interval to eachother. That way, if one or two were discovered, there was no pattern and thus no way for enemies to find the other exits. A few miles from the exits there was supposed to be a grove of trees, a different grove for each exit. They were enchanted so that, unless you were specifically looking for one AND knew beforehand what it looked like and about where it was, you wouldn't find it. In the center of the trees was another enchanted item. The mages of the white mage tower had spent several years developing them and they looked like flaps of tattered fabric on a rickety wooden frame. If you jumped at the veil like cloth, it would transport you to the kingdom of Tique. The place was an island off the coast of the Nowbrosa Peninsula.
Houka walked through the eerily deserted halls of the Citadel and wondered if the girl she'd been watching through the crystal ball was still alive or not. She reached a plain oakwood door and pressed a brick next to it. The wall disappeared and revealed a dark corridor that was paved but otherwise looked rather cave-tunnel like. It was the tunnel that she would escape through. She left it open just incase someone didn't know how to get through, knowing that even if some demons got into the passage it would only lead out and they wouldn't be able to find the grove...
((Note that I never said that a safehouse was actually a house...only the house ones have the entrances in the basement and the closest one to Houka just happened to be in the 1st floor west wing corridor...not far away from where the stairs down to the 'door' is. hint hint.))
