Roll 3 - AREA 3 Text to Marcus Yeah. I know. And supposed to be some sort of group for ethical treatment of humans, yes. Something like that. Deryk finished that text, then looked up to see that the two kids had run off. Furrowing his brow, he continued to investigate, finding himself in an area that didn't have anyone around. "Huh..."He was still baffled as what the issue here was.

((At the Exit))
Mot, still hand in hand with Junko, found what looked to be the exit. "Hello? Eugene? Mike?" Mot frowned, his free hand re-adjusting the bag on his shoulder.
"Mike, some hunters are here... Where is he?" He turned to Junko. "I hope Lizzy and Thackary are okay.."

((At exit yay!))
"..Where's Mike?" Junko blinked and looked all around, one hand holding Mot's and the other clutching his sleeve. Mike was gone. When did he leave? He was supposed to stay here and watch over them! Eugene had said! She frowned. This wasn't good. Had the clattering been...had the Hunters killed Mike!?
"I don't like this. Lizzy?" She called out, finally letting go of Mot to cup her hands around her mouth. "Thackery? Lizzy?" Where were they..?

Roll 3/3 Area 1
Nothing. No horseman signs, no traces of fighting, just some students running around. Fodder. The only thing he could thing of was that this was a trap. A very poorly planned trap. One they might have just walked into.
Trainees are disposable. Hunter or not, he was new, and three trainees didn't warrant the sparing of a hunter's life. If anything, it would look more real.
What better way to find who makes a trap then set it off, and leave behind something for whoever made it?

At the exit
Since there wasn't anything to note there, Deryk moved on. He soon found himself at what looked like the exit, but it was blocked off now. It also looked like no one else was here right now.
"... Suddenly got bad feeling.." he murmured while staring at the blockade.

Exit"You too then?" Deryk, and from the looks of it, the students mentioned earlier were here. "Ofie and Ariane are still missing I see." That worried him. "Deryk, has there been any recent activity from horsemen or anything that you know of? I can't shake the feeling that we're playing the part of live bait. Trainees are disposable after all." He looked to the students having arrived, saying nothing. "And the best way to see who sets a trap is to set it off isn't it?"

ExitOh good Marcus was here. Though some of the students were around too. This was a little befuddling. "Not that I know of. The student I spoke with before this mission is distrusting of horsemen. Or at least claims to be. Double trap? I don't know. But uh. Looks like we're stuck. For now. Let's not.. .kill each other if we don't have to, yes?" Deryk said. "Guessing you didn't find anything fishy while looking around earlier then?"

EXIT
Crap.. there they were.
Mot defensively pushed himself in front of Junko, not wishing harm to come to the ghoul so long as he could help it. So far so good, since they did not seem interested in fighting yet.

ExitWell, that was a small comfort. "Nothing. Aside from the one that fled when we arrived, no runes, no markings; Dis didn't pick up and spikes of fear and can't sense much else aside from these guys." Thumb jerked over to the scared students. "And no. You forget my role in this mission, I don't attack things." He defended them. "Doesn't mean however that I trust them not to attack us. But the notion of a double trap isn't one I'd toss out. From what I've encountered, they don't trust their own government system and they've been mislead before." He scowled at that. "Bait for bait, would make sense." Prinny, bane of his existence. One day he'd get the damn mark removed. "Still don't like playing the part of it however."

Exit
"Guys!" A Lizzy came jogging out the passageway, right into Mot and Junko. She wrapped them up in a hug, relieved that they were safe, "We need to find Mike and Eugene! There might be something bad arou-" She stopped, realizing that Deryk was there, along with the hunter she briefly ran into.
"... Hi," She smiled sheepishly, "Mot, Junko, meet - an... Ally - and, uh, his associate."

It felt kind of weird to be called an ally by one of the kids, but it wasn't a bad thing at all. Deryk nodded to Lizzy shortly before looking at the other two.
"R-Relax. Not here to fight. Hopefully. Not planning on it, no," he said before turning back towards Marcus.
"Y-yeah... don't like playing bait either. Wouldn't really put it past Caelius... Especially after giving us next to nothing for the debrief," he sighed.

Arm crossed as the pink haired one who run off before arrived. "Ally huh?" Blue eyes went to Deryk. Death was the one to gather the intel, made sense for them to build trust with the things.
"Maybe you just asked the wrong sort of question." He shrugged. "Caelius is d**k, but he did give us a fair amount of info." Fingers held up he listed them off. "This is a routine mission, meaning that horsemen likely don't matter unless we're near a lair, in which case we'd have been advised to come more heavily armed. Being a routine mission also points to the fact that these are not long missions. He gave us coordinates, but ******** if I know where they land. We've technically already botched the mission by being spotted since this was observation. What I don't get is why he called this an important mission."
He frowned at that. "Last time he considered something important, it was an artifact, and we both know how well that ended."

Clang.
Unfortunately what dropped on the ground was most definitely not an artifact but instead a large crumpled paper that smelt of gasoline and -
-Smoke. Fire.
The next few seconds passed almost too quickly as the flames consumed everything around it, sparked by the litter that decorated the floor. Even the door burned a deep orange as flickers ran along tattered curtains and jumped further, entirely rampant.
The first warning sign was the hot air and thick smoke: for Hunters is was getting very hard to breathe while everyone found visibility low at best. And then something odder: a single touch of the flame peeled and blistered student skin as well. For a second the fire flickered a familiar brilliant blue.
OOC ESCAPE! EVERYBODY! It is getting hard to breathe for EVERYONE, and the flames are entitely corrosive to the touch! All students AND Hunters must try to escape the warehouse and avoid the flames. -You will need to survive FOUR ROUNDS before you hit the exit. Roll dice according to your usual damage ie: 2d8/2d10/2d12. This is the damage the FLAMES do to YOU. - At the end of the four rounds you are TRAPPED. There is an emergency exit behind you but it seems to be jammed shut!
