Nodding to the Baku, Shun looked back towards the road ahead of them as they walked along. He had faith that Xiu would make the right choice when it came for that time to decide. His own path was pretty much laid out before him. He wasn't so willing to really stray from it now.
"Any time is fine. However, if she is asleep, there really isn't anything that will awaken her," he stated, "She sleeps like a rock nowadays.."

"Hmm...if I end up showing up while she's sleeping, I'll just leave all the tea and snacks with you then okay? Hopefully I'll manage to catch her awake sometime so that I can chat with her, but..." But if she couldn't, then there wasn't much she could do, unfortunately. Xiu only hoped that Mitsu was getting some rest--even if only a little--out of all that sleep she was getting lately.
As they arrived at the school gates, the baku was suddenly once again aware of just how tired she was--after all, she had just arrived back in town after a fairly long visit home. Suppressing a yawn, she turned to Shun and jerked her head in the direction of the demon dorms. "I should go put everything away and get ready for an early bedtime. Hopefully you and Mitsu manage to get some rest too."
Again, she cast a worried look at the exhaustion on her big brother's face, but said nothing more.

"Alright," Shun nodded to Xiu as they reached the school gates.
"I shall see you around then," he said quietly as he made his way towards the monster dorms with his supplies in hand. It was probably going to be another long night for him. The nights were usually like this. Grimacing, he shook his head. She'd get better. She had to.

Despite the fact she was feeling anything but cheerful, the baku saw Shun off with a smile and an enthusiastic wave. When he disappeared from view, she let out a sigh, her shoulders sagging. Jack, she hoped that those two would be alright.
Casting one last glance in the direction of the monster dorms--and making a note to herself to start on those baked goods for Mitsu the next morning--Xiu retreated back to the demon dorms for some long-overdue rest. It was nice to finally be back home.
