The red markings were unusual, but Zeke still wasn't sure if he wanted a Bidoof or not. They were growing on him, and maybe he'd catch the next one.

The teen watched as the others not only asked their pokemon to attack, but did some direct damage themselves. He admired Jeo and Kohl's quick reflexes especially because he didn't dare touch the things himself. That's what his flotation was for.
"Nice job, guys," Shawn remarked, sounding genuinely impressed by their group's progress. While the Bidoof seemed to be starting to 'grow' on some of them, however, the street kid felt increasingly fearful of them. What reason did they have to just come out of the dark and attack them like this? Hadn't the attack above ground been enough?
He stepped aside as Xander threw his pokeball, lips parted in slight anticipation. If that red-streaked thing (which rather reminded him of blood) managed to break out of the ball and attack Shawn, he would be blaming the blonde older teen. Provided he was still alive enough to do so, of course.

"You, too. ", nodding at the apprehensive teen.
Kohl cracked her neck and stepped back. This bidoof looked scrappier than the last, with its blood-like markings, but she doesn't think it would last long around her arcanine.

Once she knew the bidoof were all out Jeo finished her bandage. "Why are there even this many Bidoof? There can't be enough territory in this area for as many as we saw after us." Casanova waddled up to his trainer and presented the egg to her with a pleading look. "Chuchuchu rairai?" "Yes I'll keep it safe for you, you big pushover." she took the orange egg from him and turned to the others. "So, where to next?"

Natsuko-neko (Awwww it's adorable <3333 *won over by the red markings and tosses a pokeball*) Xander watched as the two Bidoof fell over then after a moment, fished out one of the pokeballs in his bag then tossed it at the Bidoof with red markings. He knew someone who would be interested in that. (( This is a color variation recessive. )) The bidoof gives one last "Doof!" as it is confined within the Pokeball. It leaves behind 5 mysterious coins, one for each of you... how odd.

Xander picked up the now occupied pokeball and the coin then stuffed them into his back pack. "I wonder how long this tunnel system lasts." He asked no one in particular. "Everyone ready to go again?" Though that was probably a bad phrase of words as the sounds of tiny feet started up again.

The young Electrike whined up at his commander trainer, looked at the unburdened raichu, back at her, and shrugged under the terrybly heavy weight of the McGyvered egg pack. Kohl glared at him. "Nope, not a chance. You made it, you carry it. Fry the brown buggers and stop being a wuss." She pointed, just as a pair of the wild bidoof waddled forward and leaped - "leap" was a charitable description - at them.
Kohl groaned. "All these battles are making me hungry!" she gave the brown hoard the same sort of glare, made a small motion toward her pokemon, and the two went to work.

Oh, great. More bidoofs. Where there any other pokemon in this temple?
He sighed. "Ialu, use Poison fang on these guys."
The golbat flew at each of them in turn, attacking them. He hit the first two, but the third bidoof moved out of his way, causing him to miss.
"You're doing fine." he reasurred the Golbat. "Everybody, keep up the good work!"

((...And once more I miscount the number of die I need, so I'm just going to use the first four rolls, thank you very much~ Also, Shawn's HP was recalculated due to a minor detail Natsuko pointed out to me earlier. Sorry guys! xp ))
Okay, now this was just getting tedious. "Great going, Xander," Shawn muttered under his breath. "Caught one, three more replace it. Or is it just your amazing sense of direction?" Not like he was one to talk, but he enjoyed giving the older teen a hard time when he could.
Alexander was the only one that wasn't a newly-met acquaintance on this strip for Shawn and the paranoid kid often felt the urge to resort to sarcasm for concealing his anxiety in tight situations. Just how much longer are we going to be in here...?
As reassuring as it was to have a team full of experienced, (unfamiliar) trainers and pocket monsters (not to mention his "trusty" flotation), Darrow did not want to get left behind by the ship. He doubted any of his companions did either, but his pokephobia was getting increasingly hard to ignore. If only they could just get out of here already!
With a desperate, vicious blow, the boy mustered all the strength he could to beat the two remaining pokemon down, seeming as if he were in the most dangerous pillow fight in the world. One of them he even ended up beating after it fainted, his overkill possibly resulting from his agitated state. It was dark and sweaty and there was no end in sight. When would the nightmare end?!

One of the bidoofs lag behind, as its friends scurry back into the shadows. If you want to try and catch one of the bidoof, throw a Pokeball! You must have a Pokeball in your inventory in order to try to catch it. If you catch this bidoof, you can no longer catch any more Pokemon in these random event battles. If you fail to catch the bidoof, your Pokeball goes back into your inventory. I will randomize between everyone who threw a Pokeball to see who captures it.
