Shina sighed and pulled out a pokeball. Throwing it at the spotted Bidoof that had attacked them twice, she reminded herself to check if it was male, and if it was, keep it far, far away from Annabell. She didn't want to see the kind of offspring they could produce.

"Whew!" Sienna was glad that was over. "Congrats, Shina!" She was still uncomfortable that the place was crawling with them though. The bird keeper guessed it was her turn to pick an exit, hopefully she picked a good one! "Good work by the way, buddy," She ruffled her Pidgeot's head feathers. He hated that but at the same time he didn't.

Wow cool! The next room they entered had all sorts of goodies in it. Sienna reached in the pile of stuff and pulled out...An Enigma Berry! She stowed it safely in her backpack.

Lyle was more than happy to move on before more Bidoofs showed up. And he was even happier when the next room had useful things in it. He didn't know what to pick, so he looked at Spinel and said, "Go ahead, you can grab something for us." His pokemon scurried off to scoop something up.
He came back holding an Oran berry, which he presented to Lyle. The boy looked at the berry, then looked at his pokemon, who was looking a bit worn. "You can eat it. And here, have another." He pulled a second berry from his bag to give to his pokemon. Spinel happily ate both berries, making Lyle wonder why all pokemon liked certain kinds of berries. They were the only things besides rocks that his Sableye would eat.

Keria was relieved when they weren’t immediately jumped by bidoofs when they entered the room. Looking around she noticed there where things littering the floor moving around she looked through the rubble. Finding a lum berry she put it in her bag.

Lenore shuffled around the room, Mephistopheles keeping guard at her side. She picked up one of the strange-looking berries, and put it with the rest.

Shina looked around the new room they had entered. Spotting an Oran Berry, she picked it up and tucked it away. "Stay together, everyone. We don't want anyone being ambushed alone."

Lyle was glad they'd had a moment's rest from the Bidoofs, but his relief didn't last long. Almost as soon as they'd moved on, there was the sound of scrabbling feet, and three more Bidoofs charged out of a hole. "Again?" he said incredulously. "Why don't they leave us alone?"

"Spinel, go for a Faint Attack," Lyle instructed. His pokemon faded into shadow, disappearing for a moment before suddenly reappearing among the pokemon and smacking them around mercilessly.

Again with the bidoofs. They simply didn't learn. Mephistopheles sent another quick barrage of ice beams at them.
