Cetus tapped a hand on Mat's head. In response, the Marowak looked up. The two exchanged an indifferent stare filled only with lackluster worry. It was an odd feeling for both of them to feel, especially Cetus. Being so generally concerned for another not Osmond or herself, certainly for something not human, made her only want to protect Mat more.
Likewise, Mat only found the need to give Cetus his dire attention. Her beryl yellow gaze shifted back and forth from the scrape on her upper thigh to the diagonal scar on her shoulder. Just thinking about them made the Marowak want to grab the nearest Bidoof and slap it silly for driving both him and his owner into this deathtrap. This thought conflicted his need to watch out only for himself -- a feeling he's lingered with since his days as a Cubone.
The lone warrior was now learning, though slowly, that the need to protect did not just surround the warrior himself but also the queen who gives him care.
Without any extra words, the two forced onwards into the connecting room, hopefully taking one step closer to freedom.
Natalie tried to wave the poisonous gas away from her face, but she inhaled some of it. She felt sick and immediately started to search her satchel for a Lum Berry. She splits it in half and gives one half to Dusty and ate the other half she kept. Once she felt better, the trainer looks around the temple again, looking for an exit.
Dusty happily eats the half of the berry then looks at her egg and saw dirt on it. She frowned and dusted the dirt off with her tail.
Natalie almost jumped when she heard the sound of feet. She wonders if it was the Bidoofs...
((I edited this post, I didn't know the trap poisons everyone XD))
Ai coughed as the poison seeped into the room. She felt its draining effects and, perhaps even more deadly, she felt fear creeping up on her once again. The stress of all this was going to make her snap at some point. Once her coughing fit subsided, she clumsily pulled out a lum berry and, eyes streaming, used her finger nails to split it messily in half. She ate half and gave the other to the mew.
Kumiko, who was perched across Ai's shoulders once again, obediently ate the berry and quickly felt better. He was feeling really tired... it would be nice to just fall asleep here... His heterochromatic eyes slowly slid closed.
Ai jumped slightly at the sound of feet in the distance. She even held her breath for a moment, willing her group to be silent and unobserved. Luckily, the bidoofs did not find them this time.

(( Since you found both sides of the strange THINGY, that random event has mysteriously disappeared. The numbers of the other rando-events have shifted.
Waiting on Chibi to reply to the bidoof, but whoever's turn to rando-event next can go. I don't want to hold you up. ))
((Would like the sparkly looking bidoof. Doesn't know how this is going to work))
(will roll dice after when everyone got a chance to reply to the previous event or after Jessica rolls again. Idk. o 3o))
Alice cough as poison began to fill the air. Decided to sit down, Alice began to ruffle through her bag, looking for the Lum berry.
She felt it within her grip and grabbed it, taking a bite out of it.
The toxins that she felt were slowly going away, making her feel better.
She decided to count up her things while she was here, and found that everything was accounted for. Including her egg and 1 less Lum berry.

Fin made a face at the bitter taste and smell of... some kind of poison gas? She tried to cover her own face and Caddie's with a fold of her shirt, but she suspected it had already taken hold. It didn't seem to be actively harming them at the moment, at least.
So much for Fin's grand adventure – this was simply one long parade of Bad. At this rate, she'd be happy to get home in one piece. She was starting to miss Cygnus something awful, and his seeing-eye Espeon, Ariel, and even mischievous little Hester, the Jirachi he babied like a human child. Not to mention her Gyarados, Ruby, whom she'd left "to guard them". And Prosper, not that she saw him all that much. That Lugia sure would've been helpful here.
Back in Fin's arms again, Caddie was dangling her head downward to intently watch the ground, playing Psyduck, Psyduck, Farfetch'd with the bricks in the floor. "Deli, deli, brrr! Deli, deli, deli, brrr! Deliiiii... brrrrr!"
As Natalie walked around, she felt something move, so she looked at her feet. Looks like she stepped on a button; more poisonous gas was released in the room. Natalie coughed and split another Lum Berry for herself and Dusty. The trainer looks around, "Anyone need a Lum Berry?"
((If anyone needs a Lum Berry, feel free to quote me in the thread.))
((Never mind! I thought I should re-roll since I rolled when not everyone replied to the poison yet when I rolled last time.))
((Ignore this post! Sorry sweatdrop ))

(( Yes, traps affect everyone, and everyone must reply before rolling another random event. Jess's rando-event WILL count, but it will be after the poison event, ICly, so now it's Chibi's turn to roll a random event. ))

The bidoof was too worn out to fight off the Pokeballs. It drops 5 mysterious coins as it was captured, one for each of you... how odd.

The poison gas was merciless. Whose idea was it to create such a trap? Than again, the Galactic grunt did note the architectural innovation to thought. G-Sub could install something similar. It'd certainly help keep trespassers out . . .
Seeing one of the sufferers, Cetus passed along a Lum berry to Finny. "Need one of these?" she asked, tilting her head.
If they were going to make it out of there, everyone had to be in one piece. Yes, that even meant the strangers Cetus was surrounded by. At least, after this hellish fiasco, all of them could part ways on good or neutral terms.
[[ Used x1 Lum Berry on Finny. O: (If you need one, that is.) ]]

(( The room's chance of random event has mysteriously shifted. You group has a slightly increased chance of a puzzle room! You can thank Renekai and GriffinFire for signing you all up! ))
"Oh, wow, thanks!" Fin took the proffered Lum Berry gratefully. She hadn't wanted to use up the single one she had unless it was an emergency, and the other woman seemed to have several extras, so she didn't feel guilty about taking hers. The trainer tore the berry in half with her teeth, then waggled the remaining scrap in front of Caddie's beak until the Delibird shot to attention to gobble it down. Fin laughed in relief, shaking her head to clear the rest of the receding haziness.
"I'm Fin Kincade," she said, offering a hand for the kind green-haired lady to shake. "And this silly bird is Caddie. Well, it's 'Cadeaux', but that's a bit complicated for all the time. Anyway, what's your name?"
Natalie ducked to avoid the arrows. Unfortunately, the arrows left cuts all over her hands, arms, and back.
Dusty squeaked loudly and carefully rolled her egg over to Natalie. The Emolga looked into her trainer's satchel and handed her an Enigma berry. "Emol?"
How sweet... Natalie happily took the berry and rubbed it on her hands and arm. The back wasn't as bad as her arms and hands, so she ignored it, but Dusty took the berry from Natalie and rubbed the Enigma Berry on her trainer's back. The wound quickly healed; it felt and looked like no arrows cut her.
