Everyone was trying to kill it, there was a pang of sympathy for the creature as it was blindly trying to hit people but missed everyone thankfully. People were still attacking it and he figured that at this point ...trying to leave the creature alone may not be an option anymore. It was in pain and it was obviously confused and was going to die.
Feeling for the creature but not wanting to see any of his friends hurt, Takoda tried to figure out a way to perhaps stop the creature from proceeding forward too much. His mind a flurry he licked his lips and using both his hand looked as if he was trying to shift rock lifting it into the air and then sending it flying towards the creature's head again. Keeping it blinded may be more useful.
He was surprised by the force it hit, actually looking like it was knocking the creatures head back and he felt...bad for it.

Keilana will be using a hammer.
Beasts HP: 21/100
People were everywhere, arrows were flying through the air and missing as well other people were getting in on the action with their own shiny new weapons. Keilana needed more space and tried to maneuver towards the back of the creature thoug she had to avoid flailing feet and hands never mind the tail.
Still she raised her hammer and tried to hit it again, this time she felt the hit was more solid...but it still lacked the full force she felt it could be. Still she felt that perhaps this was a bad position...as rock was suddenly knocking the creature silly and she didn't want to get hit with it flailing around. Keilana repositioned herself back to the creatures side hoping to avoid a thrashing tail if the beast decided to do that.

Perhaps the woman was a bit over confident with her second shot, in fact she was so sure that she would hit it this time, she managed to completely MISS. If anyone saw this wild swing she would blame the sudden surprise of the creature being slammed with a powerful blow to the head by rock. The alkidike woman made a note to find out who did it and hurt them later for it.
Though it seemed to be helping in the battle...she would ignore that bit for the moment.

The creature was growing weary, that much was obvious. Its wounds were becoming deeper, more pronounced. It seemed frustrated, but what was a giant, blind creature, being attacked in a small cave with no real exits to do? Certainly, retreat was not an option.
With another resounding roar, the creature managed to turn itself around, its spinning body just barely managing to fit within the small room. With surprising force, a tail, just as hard and rock-covered as the rest of its body, flew towards the group. The appendage, long and swift, successfully managed to hit everyone in the room.
The Legendary Beast quickly turned itself back around, facing the group, despite its inability to see. The attack seemed to have made him even more weary, but a sort of pride seemed to fill its chest; it knew it had successfully hit... something out there.

The creature's tail impacted directly with Ayo's chest, knocking the wind from her and sending her cascading backwards, into the hard floor. She lay there for a moment, dazed, seeing stars as her head had connected not too gently with the ground.
Slowly, the woman managed to pull herself back to her feet, gathering another rock into her hand. She felt disoriented, dizzy, but there was still a fight going on... they were still unsafe.
As Ayo made to release the rock, a pain shot through her right arm. She grimaced in pain and the stone rolled uselessly back to the ground.
It was a good thing nobody was relying on the poor Wind Tribe girl to save the day.

From the perch he was on the Leaf Tribesman watched the beast as it flailed around, taking a wide swing at everyone. Perhaps it was the fact that he was watching her, and Kei, as well as the others, that broke his concentration first... then add in the fact that the strike connected with him as well as the others, both things causing him to once more miss his target... and it was something that drew a rather colorful string of curses from the archer who gave his bow a dark look, as if accusing the weapon.
"You know I think I was doing better when I was beating on things with a stick. If you don't start working I will unstring you and just beat that thing to death with you." He snapped at the weapon, as if doing so would actually change his luck.

The explosion of earth magic caused the guard to stumble forward, turning to look over at the Healer with a bit of shock in his eyes. Wow... what in the world was that? He found himself for a moment wondering if he should have taken up magic, it seemed that there was a lot of power in it... but he pushed the thought aside, he had zero magical talent so there was no real reason to think about that, was there? Shaking his head he moved to take a swing at the flailing beast with his shield but couldn't seem to land a hit on the thing. It was injured and angry, something that made it move around in a way that was difficult to follow, as such made it a little harder to hit it.
It was the creature's next move, that wide attack that it made, that suddenly connected with not only Chal but the others in the area... and he couldn't help but to feel rather frustrated. Not only had he missed but he'd failed to protected Takoda... this just wasn't going well at all.

Rishi took another swing at the beast in front of him, hoping to get a better hit in and while this time he was able to get a good amount of strength behind the blow this time... but missed. He blinked a couple times then made a bit of a face, "Alright, need to get both elements together next time." He murmured to himself before he leveled his spear and readied to attack again once he found a good opening... and then to his surprise he was nailed by teh tail, something that caused him to stumble back, arms windmilling, before he landed on his backside, "Ow..." He needed to recover and get back into this he told himself, struggling to do just that.

Luck could not be on Shukri's side forever and when the creature had swung it's massive tail he found himself unable to dodge it. The young prentice was swept off his feet and flailed as he was sent backwards into a wall. The impact knocked the wind out of him and left a dull ache in his head. Pale blue eyes watched as his comrades recovered from their own wounds and rallied back to attack the beast, it had not gotten the best of them yet. Steadying himself Shukri stepped forward just enough to give himself room to swing his sling. He had no intention of getting close enough to be injured again. Summoning the inner strength he often relied upon to make it those last few meters up a steep cliff during a long climb Shukri wound up and let loose aiming for the spot directly between the beast's eyes. The hunk of rock connected solidly with the injured, flightless reptile's face. Shukri was no warrior and he never would be but he was holding his own for now. Shukri HP: 6 Shukri does: 10 dmg Legendary HP: 11

Maya's ears twitched as she listened to the chaos her eyes finally clear of debris she was impressed by all the strength everyone seemed to be pooling into the attack. Gripping her next bow rather tightly Maya frowned, her sisters were hitting much harder than she was. Was it because she was considered weak in mind when it came to saving animals or helpless creatures? They had mocked her about it before but until now it had never really shown. Letting the arrow fly it seemed to hit the beast again but with less force than she had hoped for.

The others were amassing blows rapidly while Aminah tried to concentrate on her next attack. The monster had swiped out with it's last attack and caught Aminah in the shoulder. The pain was fierce, but she gathered herself enough to attack again. She could see that the monster was near defeat and with her blow she could ultimately end the battle. She gathered up all of the courage she could muster and lashed out with her newest grouping of rock.
The blow landed, but it wasn’t enough. Aminah couldn’t bring herself to land the final blow. At the last moment, she held back her attack and just grazed the monster yet again. Inwardly, she sighed in relief. But on the outside, she acted as if she were to create another attack for the beast, hoping someone else would step in and finish the job.

Keilana had been hit by that attack and was furious! Mostly because during that attack it hit everyone, her friend and her brother. Though cut up Keilana was quickly on her feet, ignoring the twinges of pain that would blossom into bruises later she rushed forward hammer in hand and managed to hit the creature and finishing it off.
Standing there breathing quite heavily from all the adrenaline coursing through her body she felt her arms tremble at how heavy he hammer suddenly felt in her hands. Wanting to drop it to the ground she managed to hold onto it before she quickly moved to where her brother was to make sure he was okay.
"Nothing broken right?" Were the first words in her mouth.

When the beast lashed out and managed to hit everyone, Takoda included the shifter went from offensive to immediately defensive. Despite doing..uncannily well in the fight, Takoda chalked it up to dumb luck it being his first battle. Now he was going to focus on the wounded, he would check every single person..as he felt that it was his duty to do so.
Immediately on his feet he ignored his own bleeding wounds and approached Chalcedony, kneeling beside him and quickly checking him over. Only stopping to look over his shoulder as the creature gave a small cry of pain before flopping to the ground quite dead. Eye's widening only slightly seeing it was the girl from the Leaf tribe...the one who had chased him up a tree wielding a tree branch. Takoda quickly returned his gaze to his friend and went about tending his wounds first.
Jerarda was undoubtedly furious she didn't get to land the killing blow. Having been sent flying at the creatures swipe, she sat up ready to grab her spear and charge back into the fray...but a leaf tribe girl managed to land a lucky blow finishing the creature off. Jerarda's mood soured quickly again, she had hoped to redeem herself in battle...having only managed to hit once the alkidike was quite angry.
Getting up she noticed that it looked as if everyone had been hit, though the shifter's had what appeared to be a healer Jerarda moved over to Phenyo and helped her up without a word, as is very subtly checking to make sure her friend was okay before she went over to where Rishi was, and offering 'her' a hand up as well.
All in all Jerarda felt...very very frustrated.

The damaged beast could neither smell nor hear the projectile that was rocketing towards him in the air. Shukri’s stone landed squarely between its blind eyes. It had already been knocked around, injured. This was the final straw. The weary beast stumbled back, enraged, but wilting. It swiped blindly at the world, hoping to catch an attacker or two, but its attacks were weak, failing. Its spirit was strong, but the constant onslaught of blows was more than it could handle.
A number of glancing blows hit the creature across the legs and shoulders. Slowly, it slumped to the ground, its back rising and falling with its strained breathing. A low grumble, no doubt the creature’s last attempt at a roar, issued forth from its throat, but it was pitiful, weak.
It did not resist as Keilana approached. The very tip of its long, sticky tongue managed to sneak out from between its lips, tasting the approach of the Leaf Tribe woman, but there was no fight left in it. The creature fell limp as the hammer connected with its ancient, irreparable body.
All participants in the battle may retrieve a Legendary Creature Rock Scale as a trophy for helping to defeat the beast.

Maya watched as the beast fell, slightly deflated she hadn't been the one to deal the final blow. She had performed so weakly during this fight she was sure the others would mock her about proof weakness in heart was a weakness in body. Taking a deep breath as she hung the bow over her shoulder Maya stepped forward towards the creature examining its body. She was curious about it, and felt a swell of pain the creature had to die the way it did. Only now was she able to realize the beast was blind, perhaps it was old and ready to pass on anyway. Glancing back at the hole the Alkidike bit her bottom lip, the beast wouldn't have found its way into something like this by chance. It would have had to be guarding something wouldn't it?
Her dark eyes scanned over the body of the fallen beast, settling on a scale her arrow had glanced off near the shoulder. Had she knocked that loose? Reaching out she meant only to feel the object though it fell off at her touch. Picking the scale up from the ground Maya stepped back to examine it away from the creatures body. Wondering if more dangers lurked below the ground, she couldn't hear the humming noise from before. Looking back to where she had once stood Maya wondered what had happened to Shukri. Had he made it out of this alive?
