Akira looked at Jennifer, seeing that she is very excited about this. "Honestly, it's not really my choice. If you want you can figure out whether not its a boy or a girl, me, I kinda like surprises." he said scratching his head a bit. He watched as the doctor walked in as well. He got a bit nervous when he asked who he was. "Um...My name is Akira, and i'm...uh...the father..." he said, hoping it would be a good enough answer.

Jennifer didn't like how he didn't think he was apart of this as much as she thought he was. When he answered the doctor he smiled."Well its nice to meet you. Congrats on having a child." she said then looked back at Jennifer and told her that they were going to take a quick ultrasound to see how the baby is developing."Come on Akira. You can have a look too." she said kindly as she held out her hand to him. The doctor put the jelly on her stomach after she pulled up her shirt a bit. He then took the ultrasound video and showed it to them.

Akira watched as they were prepping up Jennifer for an ultrasound. He heard her request and nodded as he went up by her side, looking at the screen. He could barely see what represented a small child. His expression said it all. He was amazed and stunned at what he was witnessing. A small smile appeared on his face. "Wow...would you look at that." he said, still pretty amazed at what he was witnessing.

Jennifer saw the expression on Akira's face and smiled. "Quite a lovely site." the doctor pointed out the head and and such for them. Jennifer smiled brighter."This is so cute." she said softly."Do you think I could get a picture of this?" she asked her doctor and he nodded."Would you like a copy, Akira?" she asked.

Akira looked at Jennifer after he heard her question. He wasn't sure if he did or not. After a few moments of thinking he nodded slightly. "Yeah, I mean, you really can't miss anything as good as this." he said smiling slightly. He wanted to try to get every precious memory of his, or their, child.

Jennifer smiled."Ok then I want two copies please, doctor. I don't care how much it costs. I'm paying for everything." she said softly.the doctor left for a moment to get pictures. This left Akira and Jennifer alone for a bit."I'm very happy that you are here, Akira. I...want to apologize for everything I said earlier. I was a bit out of line back there." she said looking up at him.

Akira looked at Jennifer, blushing slightly as he heard her apologize. "No, you had every right to be mad at me, so don't be worried about it." he said, still looking at her. "Oh, and your not paying for BOTH pictures." he said, giving her a "really?" look. "I'll pay for my picture, and you can pay for yours. Got it?" he asked, still looking at her.

Jennifer giggled."Ok ok. I'll pay for my own picture." she said then the doctor came back with the pictures and gave them to them."Since it's your first then it's free for the both of you." he said smiling."Well thank you doctor." Jennifer said smiling. Then the ultrasound came to and end as he begn to put the equipment away and he cleaned the jelly like substance off her stomach and she was able to pull her shirt back down."Looks like everything seems fine I just have to inform you of a few more things and then you can pay for this visit." he said then continued talking to Jennifer.

Akira nodded as he once again sat down across the room, waiting for the doctor to ask her a few more questions before they are allowed to leave.

Jennifer was then let go and walked out with Akira and went to the main lobby to pay for her visit. "That went very well." she said to Akira as she looked at her picture with a smile.

Akira nodded as he kept his picture in his pocket. As they walked to the car, Akira looked at her. "So, what did the doctor want to know?" he asked as they both got into the car.

Jennifer laughed."You were in there too, Akira you were in there too weren't you listening?" she asked but didn't expect an answer."Just regular stuff like how long I might have been pregnant and my medical history and stuff. Nothing out of the ordinary." she said smiling after getting into the car and putting on her seatbelt.

He blushed again, this time of embarressment because he wasn't really paying much attention to the questions. "So...where do you live? So that I can drop you off?" he asked, looking at her still.

"Oh alright. I'll give you directions." she said with a smile then gave him her address. "How do you think we should do things now. I mean would you like to go shopping together or go to some classes with me?" she asked him.

"I had a feeling you would ask me that." he said as he started driving. "I would probably have too, seeing how I pretty much don't have any other choice." he said, laughing a bit nervously. "But honestly, I wouldn't mind." he said as he looked at her for a bit before looking back towards the road.
