 NѺM "Hi! Just wondering but are you a FISH?"-------------------- - - - - - - - - - - -------------------- - - - - - - - - - - --------------------
Nom's jaw dropped as he watched the woman appeared and then killed the fish. It was so sudden that he wasn't sure what he should do. Though his body and mind soon were taken over by his emotions. Nom, began to cry. Jaw still open, eyes full of tears, but yet Nom remained silent. He only intended to eat them if they were tasty; but after deciding they tasted bad and chasing them he saw them as 'fishy friends.' As the his tears poured down his face, like the blood of the fish covering the thin spears.
Suddenly, Nom's day had just taken a turn to death.

He noticed that the fish he managed to catch was alive...ish.Part of it's tail was gone but he set it back to the lake. It swam differently,but still alive-ish. "Yo,Nom. I-I think this one's alive..at least for now..

After having an argument with Shira, Atticus would find himself back at the lake, where his new life as a human began. Sitting down at the edge, Atticus would lay back and look up into the sky, "She is right, I do compare her to Akumu, but I don't do it on purpose, it is just a habit, so to say." Atticus thought as he closed his eyes, "I chose this path so I can be her partner, but I guess I gave up my dream for nothing at all." The only road for me to walk now, is the road to Twilight. Liz Thompson walked quietly on a pathway by the lake Good to be back. she thought to herself with a small smile. She stopped and looked around the lake then before noticing a kid down by the lake "Hey kid you better be careful, it gets slippery down there." She told Atticus.

Liz muffled a laugh "I am older than you, I have a right to call you kid." she told him. She thought for a moment when he asked if they had met before "Uh... nope not that I am aware of. You don't look familiar... unless it was one of those drunk nights I had..." she muttered the last part while looking away before looking back at him "I am Elizabeth by the way... just Liz though would do." She told him with a small smile.

Liz blinked in slight surprise "Yell at you? I don't even know you." She said with a laugh then and she sat down next to him "Hope you don't mind, I just got back from a huge trip and I am a bit exhausted." She said as she reached into her purse next to her and pulled out a soda, she pulled out and extra one and handed it to him without even caring if he wanted it or not "So you know my daughter then? Small world." She said with a laugh as she took a sip of her drink "She is a bit of a pistol isn't she?" She joked.

Atticus took the soda and placed it on the ground, "Your daughter is angry at me for doing something I had know idea that I was doing. She thinks that I am willingly comparing her to this other person, but I had no idea that I did." Atticus said not opening his eyes, "I gave up everything just so I could be her partner and yet she doesn't even acknowledge that. Liz looked at him for a moment before smiling "So you are her partner, honestly you seem better than that jerk she was with before." She said to him before looking at the lake "I apologize about that... she kind of gets that sense of stubbornness from me it seems. Did you try and explain to her all of this like how you did not mean it?" She asked him "If you do then I am sure she will understand, Shira has a habit of being a bit to the point and blunt about things if she is mad about something and might go over board sometimes... but that is only a wall she puts up with a lot of people so she does not have to worry about people hurting her. I am sure right now she probably feels terrible about it and wants your friendship back." She looked at him then.

Liz raised an eyebrow at him "I don't think running away like that will solve anything ya know?" she told him before pulling out her wallet and flipping it open, showing a picture of Shira when she was little "The thing about Shira is that she wont be partners with just anyone, every meister needs a weapon with a certain compatibility of sorts. Shira needs a weapon that she can put trust into meaning she had a trust in you the moment you two became partners." She told him before putting the wallet away "If that is the case then you are a precious friend to her. The whole point about being partners is that through thick and thin you two are supposed to be together. I can't tell you the amount of times my sister and I had some sort to argument with our meister. So unless she clearly told you to go away or to screw off, which I doubt she would say something like that, I think you should stay here and find her and make amends." She told him with a grin "Trust me from experience, it is a good idea."

Atticus looked over at Liz, "Trust is a two way street, how can I trust her if she can't even talk to me about her problems. She just hides them away and then unloads them on me all at one time." Atticus said as he sighed, "Why is that I am aways the one who does the hard-work?" he muttered as he closed his eyes, "Yeah, I'll consider what you're saying. If the lion ever goes hungery..... Misaki sighed then whistle a song. A blue light appeared below her as a dragon came from the clouds,"Now you cry all of a sudden. This is how they die when you catch them. I'm not being mean or anything but my friend here is made entirely of ocean water. As of that, he carries around fish through his whole body. Your so sensitive." she said before another dragon appeared but this one was solid. The real deal. Misaki climbed onto its back as he gave a roar. Then only the flames of ones corps can satisfy its hunger.....

Liz continued staring at him "Maybe she is afraid something will happen if she continues to point out problems..." She shrugged then "Everyone makes mistakes Atticus, I am sure you have made some as well while being partners with her. It is up to you to decide whether to forgive and move on or live in the past." She told him with a shrug. She finished her drink then and stretched "Nice chat then... I am glad I got to meet such a nice young man like you that is my little girl's partner." She said as she got up and grabbed her bag "You are free to come to our place anytime Atticus, don't let my husband scare you, he gets freaked out about anyone who comes to our house that is not us." She joked as she started heading up to the pathway then.
