"Okay!" She followed him and then peeked at the tables where two haunts were hard at work, "I wonder what kinda of cakes they are making, she leaned forward only to feel Roch's arms pulling her back...
She set down her bags and rested her hands on Roch's, snuggling closer. The stand still didn't last long as she bounced, rubbing her body against his. "Oh OH THEY ARE MAKING THEM NOW..." Completely fascinated as they broke the pans out, filling them with various colored batters.
"I like the blue one so far..." She was staring of course at a ungenderized were creature as it poured some kinda of blue batter in its pan. Fascinated as she leaned forward in Roch's grip.

Sexiest moment of his jackin' LIFE, Roch decided. Hot little ghoulfriend bouncing and rubbing--cake being baked--all the jackin' best things in the world, he decided. He was going to have to let her watch the cooking channel in his room sometime.
"I like the yellow one, I think it's lemon," he said. "Hey, check it out, they're setting out the samples. Wanna go in?"

"OH OH THEY ARE GOING TO DECORATE SOON!!!" The mermaid exclaimed, still wriggling in his grasp, her hands clutching tightly. At the mention of of samples, Amphi looked up at him wide eyed.
"Are we going to take a lot of them?" She was kinda of hungry and then people were lining up. "I suppose we shouldn't though...Oh Lemon cake!!" She was pressing into him again as she made reachy grabby hands.
"Comeeeeee on Roccccccccch. There won't be any left if we don't hurry!"

He laughed and tugged her into the mess of people going from display to display, picking up cake samples. It was great, he thought as he took a piece of lemon cake and gulped it down. BEST DATE EVAR. He paused to admire all the cakes that were being decorated, pulling Amphi closer and pointing at one particularly spooky one. "Look at that," he said. "It's jackin' awesome!"

She happened to snag TWO little cup samples, nibbling on her one and then offering her STOLEN one to Roch as she looked at the Blue one what was becoming a mess of bright colors that weren't attractive at all...Sad day.
She turned her head as she took another nibble of her cake and nodded, "That one looks like it's rising right of the cake!" The mermaid had to admire the reaper's rendition of ghost rising out of cyrpt's...even so much more as the ghost made of willowy frosting shifted by the reaper's magic.
She ended up cringing closer to Roch as one of the cakes sported a ridiculously horrific design of what she could only think of was the horsemen and battle scenes, not exactly how she imagined a cake to be.
She couldn't get any more closer to the reaper then she was now after all. Her face turning red as she felt heat race through her. "Roch....That one looks really bad..." She nodded to the one she wanted to admire before...trying not to focus on how badly her body was burning right now.

"Maybe it'll taste better than it looks?" Roch offered. "C'mon, let's go steal a sample and find out!" he said, after eating the second sample she offered him, then licking a bit of frosting off of his cheek. He took her hand, tugging her towards the super ugly cake with a grin.

Amphi made a small sound of protest at the lack of contact from the boil and then a small relieved sigh. Such conflicting emotions! She was confused on why her body was reacting so strongly even though they were just eating cake...and pushed it off on maybe that she was just excited.
Her teeth came out to bite her lip as she narrowed her eyes at the cake. "It looks hideous..." Blue cake with yellow, orange and lime green frosting...then there was spirals of pink and purple somethings coming out and little shapes of white and black placed all over. It was hurting her eyes...
"I think YOU can taste that one.." She ignored the thrill of frosting on his cheek, disappearing quickly as he licked it away and frowned. "I think it looks to...um unappetizing..."

He took one of the samples, eating it in one bit--and then making a face. "You were absolutely right," he said, grabbing her hand and dragging her from the table, "that tasted like minipet crap," he told her, laughing. "Maaan it's stuck in my mouth, too! They got a water station or somethin' around here?"

Amphi laughed at his face as they left the cakes and then scrunched up her face.
"I told you it looked bad!" She giggled more and then added, "Now you can't have kisses because I'll probably taste the minipet poop cake!" She flushed teasingly.
And proceeded to dance away again, secretly hoping that there was a water station because she still wanted kisses. :<

"No, no, noooo, I got a better idea!" Roch said as he chased after her. "I'll kiss you, and then YOU'LL get stuck with the taste!" he declared, grabbing for her.

"Oh no you don't buster!" She held her hand up and then slid away from his grabs. "There is no way you kissing me with cake poopy mouth. No nope No." She was trying to be serious as she dodged his grabs.
"OH LOOK...They're almost finished with ALL the cakes!" She pointed, hoping to distract the boil for a quick flailing escape. "AND ONE LOOKS LIKE ITS GONNA FALL!!!"

DISTRACTION WORKED.
The mermaid now looked around for a spot to...but since they were near the food court, she slipped away to one of the little shops, disappearing from the boil.
AKA There was no falling cake Roch...

He got ditched. "Amphi?" he called, looking around. "There's no falling cake, Amphi. You got my hopes up, now come back here and let me kiss you so my mouth tastes better!"
He was such a punk of a boilfriend.

The mermaid did in fact return, with a large bag of candy and a sucker stuck in her mouth so that he could not in fact kiss her.
"Hesh chu gosh." She said as she plopped a candy in his mouth, pulling out the sucker. "You can have a kiss after you finish that!" And she hoped it would get rid of the horrible taste after all.
"And there was no falling cake...are you sure? I was so sure one was teetering over the edge." She blinked innocently up at him.
