He gave the hand holding him back a blank look. "Well you don't technically owe me anything now. But if you can ******** help me, then I'll owe you? I just don't... really get what your problem is. "
He almost added that friends should probably help friends just because of their relationship rather than having to be pushed into it and cajoled, but he kept that to himself.
He shrugged. "But, whatever man. If it gets me a weapon then I'll deal with the consequences... que sera sera."

He gave her a smirk. "Everyone owes me. Most people just haven't ******** realised it yet. But you maybe... owe me a little less than most people."

"I'm not flirting. I'm just trying to make friends. More friends," she looked a bit more at ease at what he had to say. There was an edge to it that she managed to see and so she showed him a flicker of a genuine smile. Something he likely hadn't seen from her in months. Something he may have even forgotten.
"Be safe you a*****e," and then she shooed him to go join his hairy Harri.

The smirk didn't fade as he waved the empty mug at her and picked up his bag. "You too."
And with that he did indeed head off to join his Ace.
