Wasa cupped the jar in both hands as she looked up at the doctor. A Raeven? Like Pasha and Lulu and all the rest? She looked back at the bottle in the box. They were... made? She hadn't a clue. It never occurred to her to think they were anything but born, like... bumping misty halves to make new mist or... something. She really hadn't give it much thought. She opened her mouth, ready to beg a hundred questions about the how and what and with what when she remembered that Dr. Kyou had asked his question first.

"My Raeven." She scanned the garden, looking for Melisande. A Raeven. To guide and protect just as Aki had done. A feeling like a stone hitting packed dirt made her belly sore. She still hadn't asked either of them what happened to make them suddenly so distant, but she remembered all the times when Pasha was young, floating through the halls and gardens of the villa. It made her smile to think of it and of the thought of having her company again, even if it wasn't exactly her. The thought made that stone in her belly feel light and bubbly like a sip of champagne. "You said... the box knows that I am worthy? That I would do a good job?" Who was she to question the judgments of a box created for one purpose and one only? "I am..." Happy? Honored? She didn't know what to say. It had been such a long time since she had felt responsible for anything, but now that the offer was quite literally sitting in her lap, she couldn't put it down so easy. Not with that warm feeling spreading from her belly all through out her body. She put the jar back in the box and wrapped an arm around it, holding it close to her belly "Thank you, Doctor."

Wasa waved as he spun back towards the table, still a little stunned for manners. This was the start of a Raevan sitting here in her lap, and a Raevan was a lot more work than trying to keep some blackberries in check or even making sure to leave out food for the faeries. It was like... a very very involved art project. Multiple stages, installations, and revisions.

She inhaled deeply and blinked at the scent of evening creeping in with the scent of the cooling grill. The ice cubes in her tea were all but melted away and there were more bodies floating away than in. She stood from her chair and scanned the legs of the crowd, looking for that familiar pink wisp and rune. After a false start, she finally spotted Melisande towards the planted arbor. "Pasha!" She waved her hand high, tucking the box under her arm as she stood and shuffled quickly towards the gate. She asked about the maze, the food, and her friends. She gave words to everything save the chest in her arms. There would be another time for that...
