Twila looked confused and decided not to ask what the word ment. She looked at the person in the weird armor " is it halloween already? I thought it wasn't for a few months..." she quickly flew up into the air guessing staying on the ground wouldn't be safe.

Akumi frowned as he pushed off sharply, seeing the man crash through a fire hydrant and a couple of power poles before skidding to a stop. "Cain Marko, the Juggernaut; his mutation enables him to withstand a massive amount of damage, though he's vulnerable to psychic attacks," he said coolly, as if recalling the information from a read file, which was partially true.

Twila was quite happy she was in the air vs the ground. Power poles can be taken out by tornadoes but fire hydrents were metal and pretty sturdy. The fact that he ran threw it like it wasn't there freeked her out.

Akumi glanced at Twila. A small smile flickered over his lips. "You aren't the only one freaked out at that... and I've seen things that would give anyone nightmares," he said simply. His eyes narrowed as an aura of swirling energy twisted around his body where he hovered in the air, unaware both Scott Summers and Jean Grey were staring at him in surprise both at his form and abilities. To be honest, Akumi wasn't really sure what his new powers were at the moment.

Twila looked at him wondering if he was really gonna fight the other person. If he could knock over objects that are ment to not be he could probably kill a person running into them.

Akumi shifted his weight in mid air, darting suddenly at Juggernaut so rapidly it seemed he'd vanished from one spot only to almost immediately reappear right in Juggernaut's face before he punched Juggernaut full in the helmet just above the eyes. The loud ringing clang echoed as a pulsating shockwave detonated for several inches from the impact point, making Juggernaut stumble backwards, a web of cracks spreading from the impact site. The big mutant swung a meaty hand at Akumi, who dropped to the ground rapidly, the afterimage of him being forcibly shredded from Juggernaut's missed blow as he materialized on the ground in a crouch. He heard and saw the redheaded woman gasp as if surprised and shocked as the man with the glasses inhaled sharply. "Seems as if once you get moving, you don't stop too quickly... ya ever done bowling?" Akumi said dryly. Juggernaut swung his fist which Akumi evaded again with a back handspring, which ended with Juggernaut burying his fist halfway up his forearm in the sidewalk. "I take that as a 'no'.... too bad, because now, you're going to be my bowling ball," Akumi said with a smirk as he darted forward, driving both palms hard into Juggernaut's chest. A flare of prismatic energy detonated outward, sending Juggernaut rolling backwards head over heels as if shot from a cannon before slamming into a parked car so hard it skidded for nearly a full block before coming to a stop as a blast of air followed the initial impact. "I would say 'strike'... but I think it's kinda obvious," he said as he pushed off, hovering in the air again. As he spoke, the car exploded in a fireball, sending a rush of heat towards them.

Twila looked at Akumi shocked "And I was afraid he would kill you. I think you just topped the knocking over fire hydrent creepy." She said and looked at the car on fire. She flew over to it to see if that other person survived. She circled it a few times in the air before getting away from the smoke.

Akumi didn't show it, but he himself was shocked at his new abilities. Superhuman speed, this odd feline form that seems to have retractable claws, and whatever that aura is... and it seems I can take the physical impacts I feel and channel them into blows with five or ten times the impact, he thought. "You aren't the only who finds those abilities startling," he said, knowing his deadpan tone would hide his own shock. Within a few minutes, the car's rear end shot high into the air before the entire vehicle fell over onto its roof. Juggernaut stumbled out, his body armor cracked and blackened by smoke. "You're gonna regret that, boy.... raaaaghhh!!" he snarled as he charged. Akumi's hand rose, fingertips held firmly as his wrist snapped forward as his arm flashed forward. The moment he did, a small fragment of the aura swirling around his hand-paws and forearms detached, firing like a bullet before it hit Juggernaut in the head with a flash of pale prismatic light that faded almost immediately. Unfortunately the attack hit right before Juggernaut caught Akumi around the hips, dashing forward with the feline boy over the larger mutant's shoulder.((Keep in mind Juggernaut's around 8' tall in this while Akumi at most is maybe 6' 2" tall... so there's a big height difference. The official Marvel wikia says Juggernaut's 9' 5" tall... personally, I find it hard to beleive...))

"Um... most people don't survive car explosions.... is he the Terminator?" Twila looked at the giant person wondering if it was even human. Not really shure it was such a good idea she flew over the Juggernaut and tryed to keep the same speed as him. "You need some help?" She asked Akumi holding out a hand. "Traveling by air is abit safer then most ground transportation."

Akumi shook his head. "He's just as human as you and I... though he has what is known as the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, which increases his above-normal strength and endurance to inhuman levels... some mistake it as invulnerability," he said as he managed to push, loosening the Juggernaut's grip on him before he pushed off, catching Twila's hand as he did. Moments later, the Juggernaut had rammed through a large brick and concrete wall in a plume of dust. Akumi hovered a few feet off the ground, staring at the hole. "I'd hate to have to heal from being used as a 'test' dummy for that," he quipped before he shot higher into the air, evading Juggernaut's reappearance as he threw a wild and sloppy punch.

"Magic gems... guess were not in Kansas any more..." Twila said finding it rather confuseing. Her wings were starting to hurt so she landed on a tree branch. "Isn't running into walls head first bad for your brain...?"

Akumi darted higher into the air. "The helmet he's got on blocks telepathic abilities and protects his head from damage... though without it he's very vulnerable to psychic assaults, though unfortunately those aren't my forte," he said dryly. "Besides, how normal is a girl with wings or a feline-boy that can fly?" he said with a slight shrug of his shoulders. He grunted when Juggernaut hurled a fallen chunk of brick at him, knocking the wind out of him as it shoved him back several yards. His eyes widened fractionally as Juggernaut scooped up another chunk of brick, apparently aiming at Twila. His hand snapped up as the larger mutant hurled it, a burst of silver energy shaped like a spearing arrowhead firing from his palm and slamming into the debris, vaporizing it instantly in a momentary flash of light.
This time, his shock through widened eyes was evident as he lowered his hand slowly, one hand twitching near his abdomen.

Twila closed her eyes from the flash of light. When she opened her eyes again she jumped off the branch and went back to flying around. "You ok?" She asked worried.

Akumi managed to unclench his jaw as a thin line of blood dribbled from his lips. "Remind me never to play catch with that guy," he managed before he dropped out of the air, unconscious. Scott had been following Akumi and Twila and lifted his ruby-quartz glasses, releasing a concussive beam of ruby energy into Juggernaut's face as he advanced towards the young mutants. None of them saw the large crack that ran from the top of the domed helmet to just above the eyeholes before a snap followed as the crack widened from the optic blast. Juggernaut staggered back as if struck hard before he collapsed, out cold. The redheaded woman, Jean Grey, had walked up a few paces behind Scott and had managed to notice the crack as it had widened and had lashed out telepathically, subduing Juggernaut for the moment. Within a few minutes, the roar of a motorcycle followed as Logan pulled up. "Damn... that explains the fireball earlier an' the wrecked car," Logan said gruffly. "Ororo's on the way with the van... what happened to the kid?" he said dryly. As he spoke, Akumi started coughing, blood trickling out between his lips from the cracked ribs he had. His injuries were more along the lines of a couple of cracked ribs and one hell of a growing black and blue mark from the bottom of his sternum to his lower abdomen; his furred form, however, hid most of the bruising. He'd also bitten his tongue, which was where the blood was actually coming from.

Twila landed on the ground by Akumi worried. "Ok don't play catch with scairy giant people in general." She said and frowned.
