Seeing Ai's expression, Tiff decided to calm down. She took a deep breath, and exaled out. She calmly walked over to Ai and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"It's ok Ai."
Tiff's voice was now calm and collective.
"Im sorry, I didnt mean to cause so much stress."
Tiff then smiled, hoping that it would calm Ai a bit.
"The only way to find out if that really is indeed Kurai, is to watch this match."
"Hey, I have a theory."
Kiyowa slowly took two steps closer to Ai and Tiff. She flipped her hair out of her face and just stared in Tiff's eyes. Tiff looked straight back in Kiyowa's eyes. By the look that Tiff gave her, it would seem she didnt want to hear anymore smartass comments from her.
Reading her body structure and face, Kiyowa could tell that Tiff had enough of her. Kiyowa just shrugged her shoulders and sighed.
"Oh relax, im serious this time."
"I am too!"
A moments pause reached the room, when suddenly Kiyowa decided to tell her theory.
"Well, Kurai could be going through some sort of spiritual transformation. Kind of like me and you, or Joy and Ella."
"You mean...releasing all his dark spiritual energy..."
"Ya, something like that, It's just that instead of splitting into two seperate people, he has gone through some sort of split personality."
Tiff pondered about this certain predicament. It could be certainly true that Kurai has somehow released his negative energy, then again....does Kurai contain that kind of negative energy to be released in the first place. Tiff sighed and looked back at the screen. All of a sudden, the Kurai they all knew and loved was on the battle field.
"...Kurai...so does that mean..."
Tiff then looked at Ai and gave her a bright smile.
"Ai look Kurai is on!!!"
She pointed at the screen and did a little dance as if she was a cheerleader.

It wasn't Tiff's fault for acting protective over her friends, it wasn't Ai's fault for pointing out the "freaky looking dude" as she called it. It wasn't anyones fault. Ai calmed down as she placed her hands down on her side, than over her face. She needs to learn to be protective like Tiff and not be a coward and hide in her hands.
"Its okay, Tiff!" she said with a reassuring smile, so Tiff would know she was alright. Ai's eyes soon looked at the screen, watching them two fight, it was like a total complete mess. Maybe the only reason Ai was scared for a second, was that when she was in Heaven, her last memory was her little town in flames as she was being dragged away in the screaming crowd.
Alround that time, she had no one to protect her, Hiro and Oliver were always away, trying to train because thats what guys do in Heaven, while girls try to be a guardian angel to a human. Feena disapeared right after Ai reserected her, and was rather mad towards Ai. Feena didn't want to live, but she didn't want to waste the life source Ai gave her.
Maybe Ai was afraid of running away again. Around the time Ai was spacing out at the television, Kiyowa saying her theory. Ai soon snapped out of it when Kiyowa was almost to her closing sentence. "Thats a good theory, Kiyowa! Though I never went through a split personality. I know Feena has!" she said with a light chuckle as she looked over at the 'bah humbug' Feena. Feena just looked at Ai and then looked away, her chin resting on her hands.
"Tee hee. Alot of people go through those stages, but angels don't, we're too pure for that kind of stuff" she said as she weakly waved her hand and then Tiff pointed at the battle once again, and doing some kind of dance. Ai laughed as she watched Tiff do her little cheerleader dance. Ai joined her, though, she was pretending that she was holding imaginary bon bons, you know, those things cheerleaders always cheer with.

Kiyowa looked on at the two girls dancing with glee. She gave a slight smirk and sighed with disbelief. She then looked up at the screen and started to watch the battle. She especially paid close attention to Kurai. For some odd reason, she found him interesting.
Odd...the strangest thing about this is that Kurai is only human. I can understand if he was a half demon...but a human releasing that much energy...that's pretty impresive.
Kiyowa thought about this for a while. Everything around her just dissappeared slowly, and soon she was the only one in the room. Kiyowa always thought that humans were the weakest of all races. Because of this she always hated the fact that she was 1/4 human. It made her feel weak and helpless. Tiff on the other hand thought that humans were the strongest. Kiyowa thought she was crazy for saying that. She said that it wasn't their physical strength that made them strong, but their mind and will. Of course after witnessing Kurai over the years, Kiyowa had second thoughts about humans, but she still felt that they were weak and insignificant.
"Kiyowa!"
"Kiyowa!"
"Kiyowa!"
Kiyowa suddenly snapped out of her daze and looked at Tiff who was constantly trying to call for her.
"What?!"
"You were dazing off...thought I just bring you back to reality."
"...right...whatever..."
Kiyowa then looked over at Feena and wondered how she felt about this. She wondered if she had felt the same way she did. Of course, Feena's facial expression was too difficult to read, even for Kiyowa. She then shrugged it off and continued to look at the battle.
"Ai this is so amazing!!"
The battle was invigorating Tiff to the max. Her eyes were glued onto the screen, never wandering around.
"Say Ai, who do you think would win?"
She was still looking at the screen examining each players moves.
"It's gonna be a tough battle, both are so skilled...its hard to tell."
Tiff then quickly looked at another screen beside the one that she was glued on. Her eyes moved to fast she actually couldnt see who was on the other screen, until it finally hit her.
"Hey Ai...isn't that Makie!!"
Tiff pointed in the direction of where Makie was going to battle. She then witnessed Makie trip over her own feet and fall to the ground.
"Oh wow! That would be something that I would do...wonder who her opponent is?"

Feena wasn't paying much attention to Kurai's and Joy's fight, to her, she thought they were pathetic fighters, she thinks the're holding back so much. If she was fighting, who knows what will happen, and she wouldn't care if she killed someone. And she also knew Ai wasn't trying her best in her fight, if you watched and payed a little more attention, you'll see that she was using her ice powers more than her light powers. And she has been practicing ice for a few years and light, or in her case, spellbounds, for all her life. But thats because she promised Oliver she wouldn't use those powers. And she didn't want to.
Feena snickered as she looked away from the televisions, her head turning away from Kiyowa, Tiff, and Ai. She didn't like the choice Ai made in the end of her battle. Ai chosed to use up all her energy, when Feena knows she can do better than that. Though, Ai did tell Feena she didn't want to compete but she didn't want to be a weakling.
... weakling.. heh she laughed in her head, Ai was a weakling her mind anyways. Feena never thought of humans as a weakling or the strongiest, she just never thought of them, until she came to Ria. Ai, on the other hand, thought humans were wierd, with all that emotion and stuff like that. Too much for her, Ai only wants to make the best time she can in Ria, not for complicated relationships and wierd stuff like that.
"Eh? Who I think who's going to win?" said Ai as she also snapped out of her little world, who knows what she can be thinking. She can be thinking about trotting in a field of flowers and rainbows in the skies, and listening to little cute birds chirping away. Who knows! Or she can be thinking about Ikaika, which sometimes she does. But she likes thinking about the flowers and the rainbows.
"Umm.. ummmm.. Uh... I don't really know" she said as she scracthed her head, this is the result of her thinking. Ai isn't the greatest thinker, but she does make great choices, she just goes whatever her gut feeling is.
"Its hard to say, and right now, I think, The're both losing?" she questioned herself as she moved her attention back to Makie's fight, which, her fighter wasn't there yet. And Makie just gracefully fell on her kapooty, almost like when an iceskater falls in a middle of their dance.
"Nice Makie" Ai said to herself as she she chuckled lightly to herself. " I don't know, Tiff, but I hope Makie is ready for her fight!" AI said as she watched Makie pull herself back up on her two small feet.

Darius pretty much ignored what Lily had said. He was now on a mission, he had to find Lily so he could talk with her. He needed to get her back. He looked around the cosession stands, but saw no trace of Lily anywhere.
He then caught a glimpse of Lily on the TV. It looked like she was fighting a battle in the tournament. He didn't know that she was in the tournament. Why didn't she tell him? Was this another secret she kept?
"Lily..."

Liz raced after Darius, catching up to him as he entered the Audience Hanout/Consession Stand for the tournament. Liz herself hadn't know that Lily had entered the tounament. She stared in amazement next to Darius at the screen. Lily had never been the fighting type...well actually that was a lie. Lily was very much a fighter...but she didn't really belive in violence ever since she'd escaped from the ring.
Still Liz knew this was probably something Lily was doing to prove something to herself. Lily did things like that alot. Doing something just to prove to herself she could.
She looked back at Darius, wondering how he was taking this. "I didn't know. Did you?"

Tiff giggled a bit when Makie fell. It just reminded Tiff of herself. She would always fall on her own foot, or a rock, and people would always laugh at her. At first she felt embarrassed (sp?) but she soon got used to it, and she too would start laughing at herself. She didnt really know Makie well, considering how they first met at Ai's slumber party, but deep down inside her, she felt that she was a strong willed fighter.
Looking back at Joy and Kurai's battle, Tiff was shocked to see who got the upper hand. It looked like Joy was winning.
"Wow, Joy is really strong!!"
Tiff jumped up in the air in excitement seeing her old friend fight. Tiff remembered the first day she met Joy. OH yes, those were the days! Joy just suddenly popped out of nowhere and started to land on people's head. She was always so giddy and joyful, never placing a frown on her face. She was also so powerful! She remembered the first time she teamed up with Joy at the winter dance event. The Majins had crashed the party, and Joy came along aiding Tiff in battle. Yes, everyone has grown up so much at Ria High.
Tiff giggled to herself as she thought of the past. Kiyowa thought she was on some sort of sugar rush, but she just ignored it and thought that it was just a "Tiffy" thing. Tiffany then slowly snapped out of her daydream and looked back at Ai. She noticed that she had her angel wings out, and she remembered she first saw her angel wings at her slumber party.
"Hey Ai!"
Tiffany smiled at Ai as soon as she got her attention.
"I was just wondering...what is it like to have wings! Ever since I was a child, I had wonderful and fascinating dreams that I had beautiful angel wings! I guess it was because I am 1/4 angel myself...but I have never had the chance of having wings."
Tiff then paused for a moment and remembered back when Ai first revealed her wings. She seemed a little scared and frightened. Tiff then thought that maybe asking about her wings was not a good idea. Tiff then sweatdropped and apologized to Ai.
"Oh um, but you dont have to answer if you dont want too..."
Tiff slightly bowed to Ai and started to think to herself.
Stupid Tiffany! Think about other people's feelings first before you ask a question! OOHH, im so stupid!

A tall man with a dark aura came ambling into the room where most of the spectators were about watching the battles upon television sets. The play was highly packed which wasn't much of a surprise seeing how the streets were as well. It had taken some time to get here but following his masters scent was easy enough for him to locate her. A golden eye scanned the crowded room quickly for that dark haired braid and black outfit. That was till his eyes fell upon a familiar person not too far from him. Oh, yes...her scent was very recognizable to him. It was like fields of daffodiles upon a spring day. The corner of his lip quirked up in a faint smile seeing how the young lady had yet to notice his entrance. Well, the woman did have her back to him but those fancy wings of her and long hair was easy enough to make her stand out for him.
Slowly almost in a stalking sort of manner Girithvasa started to make his way through the many bodies. Easily sliding between and through each one as his golden eye focused upon the young woman that was now drawing closer to him as he neared. Only by coming up straight behind her did he stop his movement. He did deeply hope that the woman would not mind him intruding upon her current conversation she was having with several other women. He recognized one of them as the woman's sister, Feena. Ah, yes, its hard to forget a woman that nearly kills you. Smoothly like the gentle flow of a river Girithvasa's arms came over Ai's small shoulders locking at the point where her collar bone rested. Pulling her back lightly against him with a little playful smile. To tell the truth he was half expecting Feena to attack him and to have Ai squirm and most likely attack him as well. Why? Well, Ai usually say Girithvasa in his other demonic form where he was commonly known as Darksun. But, she had yet to really witness him in this one.
"Hmmm....I've smelled this delightful scent from somewhere. But, I can't put my finger on it." Girithvasa whispered softly into Ai's ear.

Darius sighed and continued to stare at the screen, "No...she didn't..."
Darius was a little upset to hear this, not because he didn't want her to compete, but he wanted to cheer her on. Now, with all that had happened earlier. He didn't know if he should, would he be support for Lily or would he be an annoance?

Keila was quickly up in the Concessions, smiling. She hadn't even the time to say congrats to Joy and she looked around in the maze of people streaming out from the latest matches. She looked in and out of them before finding (( equally pardon this part, Joy. .. >> )) Joy standing over near a ramp and she ran up and did exactly as she was told before, and wrapped a large hug around her.
"You both did so well! I was like, whoa! And Kurai got your weapon stuck in his chest and then I was all thinking "Ah! Uh oh!" but then he looked okay and then you made lotsa fire appear and I was like "Omigod!" and... and.. and.." she lost her wording after speaking so fast. "So congrats to both of you!" Smiling, Keila looked over to Kurai. "Since when have you had wings, anyway, Kurai? They weren't there before.. and certainly not at the Springs!" she nodded, remembering, before leaping to hug him. "And I miiissseed youuuu!! It's been forever since I last saw you!!"

Feena was watching the end of Kurai's and Joy's match, though she grunted alot, she thought they weren't trying their best. If they were, then the're such big weaklings. Feena always think that though, she thinks Ai stinks and she thinks Hiro stinks, Ai may be not great as a fighter but Hiro is very strong. He specializes in nature and totem poles, and he learns his magic from Indians in Northern America. So, he basically practices his spirit energy than anything else. Oliver practices his Yo-yo, but he hasn't for a while. But Feena knew she was going to have to keep a very close eye on Ai, since Joy and Kurai are heading this way.
Ai didn't catch the last part of Kurai's and Joy's fight, she was busy watching Makie get back up on her feet. Though, Ai couldn't resist this strange feeling since she came to the tournament, she had a feeling someone was watching her, but she shrugged off the feeling. Although, she had this strange sick feeling in her guts for a few days, too. So she's been pretty protective to herself this past week and had her guard up, even though it looks like she hasn't.
"Eh? My wings?" she said as she placed a finger on her chin as she thought. Truth is, she doesn't like them, they have a mind of their own. She remembered when she was young and still living in Heaven, she use to watch the humans and she would get jealous. They don't have a burden on their backs, Ai thought wings were foolish, but she has to have them or else she won't live. She always wanted to be a human.
Ai can get very very jealous, like if someone wasn't paying attention to her, she would get mad and puff out her cheeks and turn her back on that person pronto! She can also hold a long grudge, until that person appologizes, if the person doesn't. Well, thats too bad, thats one less friend they have.
"Well, the're okay, I guess. They get annoying sometimes, Tiff. Its like they have a mind of their own." she said with a cocky smile. Until she felt arms go on her shoulders and a whisper.
!?!! she thought as she jerked the arms off her shoulder and back kicked at the person, targeting the head with a high kick. But then she stopped as she took a closer look at the guy.
"Eh? Who are you? You look familier!" she said with an uneasy smile as she brought her foot down. As Ai was talking, Feena looked over and frowned. She stood up and walked over, and stood next to Ai, incase something happens, she's here to protect her little sister. Her bloodlust eyes glaring at the guy, with her hands on her hips.

Girithvasa immediately had placed one of his arms up to block the high kick aiming straight for his head. Only to never feel the kick come as it came to a stop. Inside he was sighing to himself in a bit of disappointment that Ai did not recognize him. By the looks of it her sister didn't recognize him either. that held up arm instead brushed through his wild black hair before it tumbled back down wildly. Glancing down at the girl that was considered small when it came to his height. His other hand simply came to her head rubbing it gently like one would with a close pet.
"I figured you wouldn't recognize me, doll." He started off with a sound of slight sadness. "Then again you are not use seeing me outside of my usual form. Perhaps, this will jog your memory. I was less than a foot tall, I purred much of the time, had a streak of redness in my furr, and I always followed you when you were out pouncing around the old dojo. Your sister nearly killed me and my master as well."

Liz sat down and watched the screen, wishing she was in the ring and not Lily. Liz was the better fighter and Lily knew it. Why hadn't she let Liz fight? Why had she kept so many secrets from Darius? And from Liz? And WHY was Liz asking all these questions? No one could answer them but Lily and she was busy in combat.
Liz smacked her forehead when Lily tried to back flip away from the Katana. It was too late to try and flip away. If Lily had kept her head in the battle she would have dodged that easily. Very easily. Liz looked at Darius wondering how he was taking the sight of so much blood dripping down Lily's shirt.

Impossible... Kurai thought to himself. "Young master.. I mean Joy. I'm tellin ya. It just ain't good. I can't speak up to the others as my shell Kurai has done. " Kurai said formally. Tainted Kurai was a man who respected the ways of the tainted very much so, even with his natural rebellious nature. But calling Joy instead of young master was a very much more easier task for him. Kurai then groaned as Joy seemingly continued to hug him from behind. He wasn't too comfortable with it.
".. Youn..Joy." Kurai caught himself before calling her young master again. "May i request we stop by the church to pick up the one you people call Mint in this world?" Kurai called out remembering that Kurai lived with a pink haired female that they called Mint. The Mint Kurai used to know back in his world was his Daughter, and Kurai wouldn't let anything happen to her.
Before Kurai could reach the large group of people at the center of the concession stand area Kurai found one gurl running down up to them. Kurai then looked forward and found herself a little gurl suddnely leaping up twoards him and hugging him. Kurai didn't respond either Emotionally or Physically. INstead he just looked over at Joy awaiting for a response from her instead. for the truth was. Kurai did not recognize Keila. Keila only came before Tainted Kurai entered Kurai's body.

Darius winced as he saw Lily take the hit. He was worried about Lily...sure she was a good fighter, but he didn't want her to become injured. Unfortunately it was to late and she was now bleeding.
"Lily...please make it out ok..."
