"Yeah, no, Amphi, this IS your pick," Roch said. "Did he.. ah... come with the headpiece?" he asked curiously, hugging the puppy to his chest and tugging her underwear off its head. "That's... um... wow, did NOT see underwear involved in this--"

"What do you mean he is my pick-" Her eyes instantly widened as he picked off the undergarments, which happened to be lacy pale blues and reached to snatch them out of his hands, her face turned another shade of red as she stuttered.
"Those...Those are mine!" She stuffed them in her bag, waaaaaaaaaaaaay at the bottom and tried not to explode from embarassment.
"And he tore my bikini bottoms..." She stared at them sadly, looking at the rags. "Now explain to me why this....oh...oh..." The puppy was whining in the boil's arms now, wiggling for Amphi attention. Its not like the pup didn't like Roch but it wasn't the same as his owner!
She was soft and giggled and tasted good had soft cushions he could rest on! This boil was hard and solid and flat. Not at all as appealing.
"Woof..." as he gave Amphi the biggest puppy eyes a puppy could manage.
And Amphi was victim to those eyes.

"There's minipets that start off as items," Roch said. "I don't know how it works, but y'know FEAR, its always changing--and Dad once told me about this dog that Tex had when he was a kid--"
He rolled his eyes and put the squirming puppy down, letting him go back to the mermaid. "It was big and scary looking--had horns and this huge chest--and it was the sweetest thing Dad'd ever met. Neither of them knew where it came from--but now we do!" He was STOKED! This was a million times better than a pick, it was a living reminder of Tex! And it was so jackin' ugly that it was cute!
"Er... but... y'know if y'don't want him--"

Amphi followed the puppy down, it came over to her and placed its paws on her chest and licked her chin. Amphi melted at that point, picking it and cooing it. The puppy again, was pretty big for the littler mermaid and yet she eased him into a comfortable position that allowed her to hold him with ease.
"Excuse me?" She blinked at Roch and then added, "who said anything about not wanting him!" She poked Roch in the chest. "He was my pick after all! And look at him, he's sad at the idea of even leaving me!" That was established by the small whine as if the puppy understood her, burying its head in the crook of her neck.
"I should give him a good name!" She declared, "I think...." She looked up at Roch, "What did Texas name his puppy? Did your family tell you?"

"Nah, honestly they never mentioned it, nor did they mention that they were purple," he said, moving closer and roughly rubbing the puppy's head. "He's a cute lil guy," he decided happily. "I'm gonna have to get one."

The puppy was ecstatic with all the attention! His tongue came out to lick at the hand Roch used to pet him with and then wiggled out of Amphi's hold. Setting him down again, She watched him trot of to the locker wall where the ghoul's put there things too, lift his leg and pee on the corner. Her eyes wide as he came back and he sat down, staring at her with a dopey expression.
"Oh my jack..." She stared at the mess, then the puppy and just rubbed her hands over her face. She had no idea how to take care of the puppy. Her hand snaked out to Roch's..."Will you help me with this one?" Her eyes turned up at him.
"And I think I will call him Dallas!" She liked the name after all. Then blushed..."Oh..Oh Roch you have to get out of here! your in the ghoul's room!" She blushed as she realized the reality of the situation. She picked the pup up, handing him to the boil and pushing them out. "I'll be out in a second!!" She ushered, leaving Roch and Dallas to get more acquainted as she cleaned up the mess and then changed.

Roch was silent as he was shoved out, then picked the pup up so they were face to face. "So... you wanna be the one to explain that Tex jackin' HATED that name?" he asked the pup. "Me neither," he said, not waiting for an answer.
She was going to need a trip to the pet store, he figured, and bones. Lots and lots of bones. But his mind was going to something else as he tugged the pup into a hug and started scratching him behind the ears. He... needed to drop a puppy on both his dad and grandad for SURE, he thought evilly. Monica would LOVE one, and it'd torment the hell out of Vegas, so it was all good!!

The pup didn't do more then c**k his head at Roch and wait. His owner would come out-
Now. Her arms full of her stuff. She sent a half glare at the puppy as she was half clothed now. "He chewed....my top too...and my shorts were ripped..." She fingered the shirt she had brought and leggings, thank goodness she had thought to grab.
She was of course now wearing the lacy panties seeing as her bikini bottom was ruined. And with the shirt on, it seemed almost out of character for the mermaid. Fully clothed....Weird.
"Let's go before they catch us Dallas." She gave the puppy a nose kiss, laughing at how cute he was and then back up at Roch....her brow furrowing. "Can I have a kiss from Roch? Before we go back?" She asked politely, seeing as soon as they left, they would be 'friends'.

"Once we tell people, you can have a kiss any time you want," he told her, leaning down and kissing her softly. "But it's only outside--or where there's other people, for now, that y'can't," he added, leaning his forehead against hers. "Jack this is hard," he whispered before pulling away. "C'mon, let's go show Dally his new home."

"Okay!" She leaned up in the kiss, liking the gentle brush that sent small heat through her...and then her puppy wiggled in Roch's arms, demanding attention and she pulled back laughing.
"I am sure we will be able to tell people soon..." she had already planned to talk to Thana soon. If not within the next couple of days.
"Dally...." She nuzzled her puppy and nodded, "if you don't mind carrying him!" She looked around and then proceeded to head out. Oh but she had no idea how to look after a puppy. Maybe she would ask Roch later....she was feeling a bit tired after all the relaxing and then play swimming and puppy.
Hots springs were tiring yes. Fun though!
