Muka was giggling uncontrollably. The way she seemed flustered was very funny but at the same time endearing. She was worse with phones than he was!
"You can tell him to just call when they get here.. if you don't want to share." He chuckled, hiding his face in the crook of her neck as she floundered on the line. He was merely stifling his laughter at this point.

Muka's laughter wasn't helping, and she just pressed her lips together, trying to save face for what it was worth. "Call when you get here please." A few more more words were exchanged and the call seemed to be over. Needle lowered the phone, still on the call, and brought it closer to her face to try and see the screen.
"Now what?" Yes she was ignoring the fact he was about to choke to death from laughing at her. This was her first time using the phone, okay?

He actually was. The strix's laughing turned to wheezing and he unlatched from her, scooting backwards on his behind until he was scrambling away. Suddenly his shoulders were shaking and then he began to hack.
The strix hurried for the bathroom, closing it as the more disgusting noises started. Loud 'HUUUURRRGGHHKS' came from behind the door, sounds like the strix was choking, and then a soft thud.

Needle just stayed where she was, staring at the door he disappeared through, the phone still on in her hands. The noises, the hacking...the thud was too soft to be his body hitting the ground, so that on it's own was a small comfort. Still, those noises...
"...Ew." Wow those noises were gross! Clearing her throat, she spoke a little louder. "Are you okay, Muka?!"

Now he had a quandry. He'd tried to a very high degree to keep some of his grosser habits from Needle. Such things were not appropriate for ghouls. But now he was in her bathroom and a fresh owl pellet, the size of a football roughly, was sitting in her sink.
It was nothing more than a compact ball of hair and animal bones but now he had nowhere to dispose of it!
"Ah.. Fine!" He coughed. Also... with his bandaged hands, it wasn't like he could pick it up! Muka cracked the door and peered out. Were his cheeks slightly pink? The strix didn't know much about embarassment but he was feeling hints of it right now.
"I hrmm.. Just a little quirk of mine." He giggled uneasily.

Needle didn't register his near-blush because she couldn't see it.
"Quirk?" The cell phone was closed - finally ending the call - and she rose to her feet, head tilted with concern. "Do you need help?" She had no idea what was happening.

"Ahh hrmm.." Muka coughed a little again but could only glance at the sink before slipping out of the bathroom. "Perhaps? Do you know much about owls?" Muka hooted with an uneasy giggle.
"You see with all the swallowing things whole, some things dont quite.. ahh.." another giggle. "digest."
His bandaged hands moved idly as he was suddenly unsure what to do with them. "Which means they ahh.. things need to come out somehow." His face felt warm, embarrassment a strange and uncomfortable thing for the strix.

"Very little..." Needle admitted, pausing near the door to the bathroom, her fingers linked in front of her. She was lucky that he elaborated in general, putting the pieces together from what she knew; he did eat things whole, and he was making horrible hacking noises...
"Ah, so you...threw it up?" She questioned, tilting her head but otherwise staying still. "Did it not fall down the drain?" Bodily fluids were gross; but she had never really dealt with puke before. When she was little she did throw up ectoplasm on occasion, but that was different than the living type.

"Well no it's not like normal hrrmm.." Muka shifted, bandaged hands feeling very ineffective at the moment. "It's more of a dry lump.. bones.. fur.."
Yes he was very embarassed. Thankfully Needle wasn't laughing at him, nor grossed out so far. Of course she hadn't seen him in the act or seen the pellet yet.
"With my hands I am not sure I can ah.." he hooted gently. "Dispose of it properly." Well maybe with a bag he could... wouldn't the food be coming soon. He could use that as an excuse to go outside.

Needle was still, but she was blinking curiously behind the mask. So...he just barfed up bones and fur, without it being all wet and gooey? Ew, but at the same time...kinda cool. She wanted to look at it to see for herself, but at the same time...she never was very good with things that came out of a body.
"I...I suppose I could." Ew ew ew ew ew "...Though so long as you're not flexing too much too fast your hands should be okay." There was a brief pause as she looked towards the door that lead into the hallway, and then back at the boil who had thrown up dry animal pieces in her bathroom. "It is up to you, however." She...really had no idea how to go about this. Wouldn't it fall apart if it were just bones and fur?

Muka giggled nervously. "Ahh.. let's just wait. When the food comes I will get it. I will use the bag and dispose of it for you." He made sure the bathroom door was snug and rejoined the engraver, leaning down to nuzzle her. His face was warm from embarassment. "A lady should not do those things."
"I ah... hrmm.. am sorry about this." He'd never felt so self conscious before. What was that about?

"Very well." She agreed easily enough. She had the stomach for a lot of things, but she was still definitely hesitant about this. Needle, who had been fairly close to the door, stepped back as he exited, just enough to give hiim room to be comfortable. The way he nuzzled her made her smile, her head tilting to return it as best as she could. Of course she noticed something odd, a heat she didn't really recall even in the heat of the moment.
"If it is natural to you, then there is nothing to apologize for." She assured him first, reaching up and pressing her hands against his warm cheeks. "Are you all right? Your face...is so warm." The idea of blushing - something she had done herself - seemed to not cross her mind. Muka? Embarrassed? Never!

"Hrm.." Muka thrummed and seemed to heat up more when she pointed it out. "I think I may be slightly.. hmm embarassed? No one usually sees that." Him hacking things up. "I apologize."
And suddenly a digital tone began to ring, a staple of every Halloween cell phone. This Is Halloween chimed loudly, his cell phone buzzing and shaking where it was left.

He got warmer! Interesting! It certainly was a different sort of heat, and when he explained what he thought it was, she made a low 'ahh' of understanding. "There is nothing to be ashamed about if it is a natural process." She repeated herself, but felt like she had to; why would he be embarrassed or apologize or something that came naturally?
In fact, she was so okay with this that she lifted herself up on her toes to lean in and kiss him, but was stopped short as the digital tone started to ring and vibrate on her floor. Instead of kissing him she gave a shocked cry and looked quickly over her shoulder at the culprit, seeing it's form clear as day as it blocked out some of the ink splatters on the floor.
"What is it doing?" She whispered as though it would hear her and come biting.

He giggled now, and hurried her over to it. "It's ringing. That means the food is probably here." Most delivery men were pretty inept and there was always a chance he'd been stopped on campus by some unruly gnomes.
"Pick it up..!" He waved his bandaged hands uselessly.
