"We'll make things better!" S'ton shouted back. How that wold be achieved wasn't his concern right now. He was angry, frustrated, and his dragon had been knocked out by this snot-nosed kid and his overgrown sparkly lizard! He swung wildly, just trying to hit anything at this point.

S'ton couldn't answer because he was too busy gasping for air. The kid had gotten a lucky hit again right in his gut, and knocked the wind out of him. He finally noticed how tired and sore he was getting. Too tired to fight much longer, but he didn't want to give up. He tried to block the kid's hits while he figured out what to do.

A'krun struck out on S'ton, his dragon had backed off for the moment. All he could think was why couldn't everyone just get along?! Why did there have to be war and revolution over the colour of a dragon's scales? He was so upset.

Then the shiny worm got in his way again, so instead of closing his hands gleefuly around the kid's neck, S'ton was left scrabbling uselessly at a wall of silver hide. "Sharding Thread-blasted dragon!" he burst out, then kicked the stupid thing out of sheer frustration.

Noith growled and snapped his jaws at the sky. He narrowed his eyes at S'ton but didn't attack, because he couldn't. He knew this rider was growing more and more irrational and if he could egg S'ton on enough, the black rider would forget his own rider in his fury.
