╚══════════════╝ Seira grasped her hands behind her back, hanging her head slightly as her friend scolded her. She stared up with big eyes, her green hair framing her face. "Sorry, Hal... I was just bored, and I didn't know the storm was coming until about 20 minutes ago..." She remembered the brave royal guard who had come searching for her, and felt terribly ashamed and terrible. She quickly turned around and moved in front of the guard, gazing up at the tall man, her green eyes large. "I am so terribly sorry!! Please! I want to make it up to you!" She looked up at the ornate ceiling, thinking quickly.
"Oh! I know!" She cleared her throat, and addressed him formal casual. "My dear royal guard, since you have traversed such perils to find me, I am rewarding you with the rank of Captain of the Guard. May you serve me well, Knight." She smiled brightly up at him, then stepped forward and placed a light kiss on his cheek. He was indeed handsome, and she would be happy to see him as the captain of the guard. Her old one was needing a replacement anyway. He was too old.

Almas stood shock still for a couple of moments, his brain struggling to process the information. Him? Captain of the Guard? A Knight? Queen kisses? Not in trouble? PROMOTION!? He bowed graciously towards the Queen and smiled humbly, "I thank you, my Queen, and humbly accept my new role. It is an honor to serve you," he spoke regally, but inside his head he was throwing a rave and saying quite a few unknightly things about his ex-boss. He bowed even lower so no one could see his sh*t-eating grin.

Halliviere scooped Rook back up in her arms, seeing has he had tired himself out, and walked over to the two. "Congradulations on your promotion, Sir Ferrison. It was a good thing you bought that armor and sword when you did." She gave him a mock bow.

Seira's calm and happy expression changed a few moments later, studying her new Captain of the Guard closely. "I hope you know what this calls for, Sir Ferrison." She stood up straighter, her head held high, her eyes even. "You need to remain by my side when I am leaving the castle. You must train the other guards in the proper forms. You must make sure that you keep me safe, and that you keep your guard up. But above all else, the most important thing you have to do is..." She paused, practically staring him down unblinkingly, watching him as he went from happy, to confused, to intimidated. After a few more moments, when she felt he had had enough intensity, she smiled softly, relaxing slightly. "You have to stay calm and relaxed. That way, no matter what, you're ready for anything and everything. And also have fun. That is incredibly important. Don't be serious all the time. Okay?"

" Noelle dearie that you?" Kira yawned loudly and rubbed his eye." Excuse my tiredness dear, I have just not been able to sleep well lately. How are you?" Kira gave her a gentle smile and yawned again his silver eyes looking kinda and gentle. ...And I will forever keep my people safe even in the cold of our winters."

When the Queen finished speaking, Almas bowed deeply and replied, "Yes, Your Majesty." Inside, however, he was quite shaken. Who knew someone so small compared to him could intimidate like that. 'Woo...gotta stay on my toes from here on out...wait. AWW! That means no more afternoon naps! Oh, the price of being unbearably awesome...' He lifted his head from the bow and gave a confident grin. "I shall do my best to prove my competency."

She may have only known him for two days, but she could practically hear the pathetic whines of his lazy days lost. 'Heh, either that or he is bragging about himself...Poor Seira has her work cut out for her.' Halliviere shook her head and laughed at the scene. "I wonder how this will play out...If anything, it will probably mean more business for me, isn't that right, Rook?" The fox kit yipped happily, wagging its tail.

Seira gave him a brief hard stare before turning back to Hal, smiling brightly. "So, what do you two say to us heading home? The storm is getting closer, and we have a long way to go, and a lot of things to gather before it hits, so we should get going as soon as possible." Just as she finished that, a massive crack of thunder was heard, practically shaking the walls of the throne room, causing the chandeliers above to quiver slightly at the force of nature.

Halliviere nodded her head, just as the lightning struck. Still just a baby, Rook was terrified and ducked under Halliviere's arm for protection, to which the red clad Ean hugged him tightly. "I agree. We had best be off, lest we be struck down by the storm." Halliviere turned to the Faoil Queen. "It was an honor and a privilege to be in your presence."

Almas walked up beside Queen Seira and nodded as well. "The storm is getting closer. If we don't hurry, we may not make it before it hits." Also turning to the Queen of Faoil, he added, "It has been a pleasant visit, Your Majesty, but we must be on our way." He asked one of the nearby servants to retrieve their horses.

Seira nodded at her Captain of the Guard, as well as her close friend. She then turned to her royal friend and hugged her. "Bye, Annowre! It's been a great visit, but I have to go now!! Thank you for everything!!" letting her go, she turned back to her friends and clasped her hands behind her back. "Well, let's go!" She followed the assistant that had come to tell them that their horses were ready.

Almas rushed out to lead the horses to the front to be mounted. "We had best hurry or else we are done for." He led Queen Seira's horse to her and helped her up to the horse's back.

Halliviere sat to the side and waited for the other two. She could probably fly back to the castle before the storm hit, but with Rook along with her, she couldn't risk the lightning. For now, she opted to wait until both horses were mounted to see who she could ride back with.

╚══════════════╝ Once seated on her horse, she turned to the other two, watching as Almas mounted his horse. She gave him a curt nod and a brief smile as a quick thanks before she wheeled her horse towards the road. The wind was so loud outside it practically roared around them, rain pelting the ground and stinging their skin. "Let's go!!" She gave her horse a good kick, and she was off, bolting through the thick rain.
