Lin stepped forward, having followed Antionette. She had been a little reluctant to, but the girl was stubborn and would go with, or without her. And that could be bad for a blind person. Especially one as accident prone as Antionette. Antionette continued fumbling around until she heard someone speak. SHe understood none of it, but soon found her cane pressed into her hand. She looked up and saw Kim’s soul directly in front of her and smiled. “Chut Lin. She has obviously been here a while, so, she adapted the language. It is good to see you again. I spoke with Lord Death and explained the situation.”

Antionette gave a semi smile. “It seems you are rather gifted with languages then.” She then stood up and tapped the ground in front of her with her cane, resetting her shoulder bag’s strap. “Thank you for the offer. But...why can’t you come back?” Just then, she was knocked backwards and her bag’s strap snapped as someone snagged it and bolted. “Vous vandalisme! Revenez ici!” She hated that it had happened. Her purse held a few sentimentally precious items as well as all the money she had brought with her.

Lin continued to smoke, feeling a bit indifferent. “Sure, I don't what the hell they sell, but I won’t turn away a free meal.” Just then, she was pushed to the side as a man ran by her. She was about to start yelling when she heard Antionette shout in French. She then noticed the girl’s purse was gone. “Oh...now that’s freakin low!” She charged after the guy and tackled him, though, given her slim frame, she failed to drop him. Instead, she began to punch him in the side of the head. She grabbed the purse and struggled with him until she kicked him viciously in the groin. She then returned to the other two and handed the bag back to Antionette before helping her to a seat.

Kim looked down at the counter and sighed a little. "If i told you, you'd would want to leave me behind as well.." Kim stated as she looked up and saw Antionette get purse snatched by some guy. "and that's why I don't carry a purse, well that and that fact I can only afford a place and food.." Kim said as the two toke their seats. "actually ever since i came here, i've been doing a lot better money wise, if it was like back in Death City I couldn't offer you a meal.." Kim said trying to make it sound a like a joke but you could hear the sadness in her voice as she said it.

Antionette’s face scrunched in annoyance at Kim’s words. “That’s bull. We did risk our lives for you back...there...you know. We had to leave because I was the most able-bodied one there and I’m blind. Lin had to carry Ushi with a messed up leg that has not healed right. It’s a permanent wound, but I know she would have pushed herself further if she could have without risking everyone’s only chance of survival. You don’t need to be so cryptic. You can tell me, I am more accepting than you might think.” She then felt her purse returned and looked to Lin as she was led inside. She sat down next to Kim and gave her a smile. “You won’t know til you try after all.”

Kim wondered how to explain how what had happen in the time she had been missing between now and when they left her behind. Antionette wore a serious expression. “So? What better way to atone than to do what you can to fix what you did? You were in a life or death situation and I’m betting tortured severely. That woman did not seem the type to kill someone that might be of use to her. I am betting she would have continued torturing you until she broke your will and drove you mad. Better to aid in one evil task and then seek atonement than to aid in many and be unable to fix things. And Lord Death is not unreasonable, I am sure he’d understand and listen.” She then looked with some irritation at Lin, but did not snap at her. SHe looked at the plate in front of her and took a small bite. It was more out of courtesy than anything as she was not all that hungry.

Lin cocked an eyebrow. “Are you serious? I actually go looking for fights and don’t end up in as much trouble as you. OOC: Translations: Stop being so fatalistic. You will never atone if you do not try. At least giving the effort shows a desire to repent and that you regret your actions. But simply giving up only makes it seem as though you do not care. Come back and I am certain Lord Death will allow you to work towards atonement and will not punish you. Lin continued eating as she listened to Kim. She was shocked at the info, but she sensed there was something that had happened to compel the woman to do what she had done. When Kim got up, she almost went to stop her, but saw Antionette get up as well. She figured the smaller girl would be better in this situation, so, she remained seated as she ate.

Kim just stood outside the door as Dior hugged her. "She knows almost everything about me even the things I try to keep hidden, and if it wasn't for her I would have died long before I ever joined the DWMA...." Kim said as she looked away at the sky. "I need your help tonight Antionette... I'v been tracking a demon around this area a little after i got here, and since I can't see souls it's hard for me to find it when it comes out at night... since i'v been here it's killed 40 people so it need to be killed soon before things get bad." Kim informed Dior in a very soft whisper, trying not to freak anyone around her out. "can you help me with this?.." Kim asked softly as she stood there awaiting Dior's reply.
