She gave him a steady look as she ran with him. "All roads go to the same place. Instincts really aren't my strength. I have never had much luck when it came to choosing roads. Therefore, I will open the map...Ap Do." she cast it over herself, feeling her speed increase. Quick and lightfooted she scooted from room to room, making the map visible and avoiding the enemies with smoke bombs. If only she could see where everyone else was!

Kisobe peeked around another corner and grimaced. It seemed that this journey to the source of this weird feeling was a clear path seeing as it seemed that someone farther ahead was killing them for him. He smiled before moving around the corner and headed down the hall to another corner. Without a doubt, Kisobe was happy he had no reason to beat up monsters at this moment. He wasnt sure if he could fight them while his mind stung the way it did.

Yurash ran after her, it was good that she could keep the map updated, he though if maybe they could find some treasaure on the way there since it would help in a possible fight against the epitaphs. He sighed, he didn't like how long they were taking "Any signs of doors?" He yelled to Kasumi while he fought with the monsters behind her.

She scooted all over the area, moving so much that the enemies that saw her had no time to lock onto her. She found a few dead-end rooms with mushroom boxes, but they were guarded. She also found a couple of rooms with treasure boxes, but they too were guarded. "No, not yet," she said. "But there are rooms with treasure up ahead. Be careful though, I think a lot of the boxes will be trapped." she said.
If the others were progressing, they would find few boxes in the first segment, and then several boxes littering the area of the second segment of the castle. A couple of these boxes would contain rare weapons... Lying in Rouge's path would be a box containing the weapons "Merriment Rain" (a gun) and "OmoiKane" (a blade). Lying in Lanza and Zero's part of the castle are the weapons "Yamata no Orochi", a spear, and "Oni Sword". Those were in the second segment, however, where exactly it was is unknown...

Yurash listen to her, it was not a bad idea keep going and gain time now that he think, but they would face enemies ahead, epitaphs... God knows what could happen, so better equipment could be a plus for them. He look to her and say "Lets go to the chests, We need to gain some extra strenght for whatever come ahead." He say walking to the chest area.

She nodded, rankled from the running. Somehow she could feel it in real life too, as though she had run a long way. The small ornaments on Night's Truth jingled as she walked. Monsters milled around the chests. Without pausing, or even asking, she took a flying leap, and for a moment looked like she was floating, before landing in the middle of them and executing Zan Rom to initiate the battle. Without even casting her usual buffs, enemies fell stunned and were easily pushed back by her. Comboing her spells and normal attacks, she achieved something that rarely happened for her- a rengeki. Though she had no arts to use, she attempted both a magic attack and a normal attack. Unsure of what triggered it, she was nonetheless pleased to see that it had sent her enemy a fair ways back. However, she had to jump again, as she was almost hit by a monster that had been trying to sneak up on her.

Ginko ran towards the AIDA presence. Ginko and Rouge were the only ones who could stop it. 'Hurry Ginko!' Fidchell said. 'The signal's getting stronger!' Ginko shook his head to get Fidchell out of his head. "Right now Fidchell," he said, aloud, "the only thing I care about is protecting Rouge and the others."

He go straight to the group of monsters without hesitate, as their agro goes to Kasumi he take the chance to deliver critical atacks since he hit their back defenseless. He used ogre sword and lateral edge to finish of the last two. He sigh and breath a little, he was an aida so even for him the effects of the race against time to reach the center would take him sooner or later, however after a breath he was ready for more. He walked to the chests and analized then before trying to open.

Rouge Metrea
Rouge had stopped at a fork in the road. She had just opened a Steam Door and stood at a fork in the road. This was the middle part of the castle, between the outer edges and the inner sanctum. It had a distinctly ninja-palace feel to it. She heard Ginko's speech and turned around with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh? There you are! I thought you got lost, my friend ^_^. Good to see you. Now which way should we go? This place is built like a maze." She chose not to say that she didn't always need protecting, knowing that point would be a potentially touchy subject.
Habataki Kasumi
She sighed as the monsters were swiftly dispatched by her sempai. "I am eager for the day I become as strong as you." she said, lowering her staff by a fraction and looking around. Her SP bar wasn't as severely depleted as it would normally be thanks to the regeneration effect Night's Truth gave her.
The chests were in v-pattern. The center and frontmost one was trapped. The right hand one held an HP recovery item. The left hand one held a rare white blade that at the moment was a bit weak for Yurash: It was a level 45 sword called Amaterasu's Radiance.

Yurash look back to her and blink a few times, he sigh and say "You are not far. I will make sure you are not far from it." He said with a evil grin. But then, he remembered he was terrible with trap chests, he look back to her and point to it "Er... Can you do it? I'm pretty bad with those.. He said going to the right hand one and opening it.

She rolled her eyes but couldn't stop the grin that tugged the corners of her mouth up. "Yeah, sure. LOL, who would have thought, my sempai doesn't handle traps well. Aaaand here we go!" She kicked the center chest unceremoniously and the trap-release sequence popped up. As she quickly smacked each of the buttons on her control pad, she muttered the names. "Circle, Circle, Square, Triangle, X, X, X, Triangle." Her fingers flew and the trap released with a small *pop*, leaving behind 5 Fairy Orbs. "Huh? What do these funny things do?" she asked, holding one up to the light inquisitively.

"That's what they do? I wouldn't know, this is my first time seeing these weird things." Kasumi said. Experimentally, she used one. Suddenly, the whole map was made known to her. "How useful." she simply said.
There was a room that wasn't checked. If Kisobe turned right just before the Steam Door and then went left, he might find something good in a mushroom box...

Yurash look to her and smile "There goes, our path will be much faster now. Hm... And the other trap chest?" He look to it like if asking kasumi to open it so they could go to the mushroms and keep moving. He elt the ressonance again, they needed to go faster.

"Um..." she said, kicking it open. No trap. Rare sword, however. "Eh? Amaterasu's Radiance," she read in her inventory tab after taking it out. "Handy. Do you want it?" she asked, wondering if it was safe for them to keep lollygagging around like this. She had a bad feeling about this excursion somehow.
