Alex unconsciously leaned forward as the voices from the other side of the door became more pronounced, his curiosity getting the best of him as he attempted overhear the words. It became quite obvious quite quickly that they really aught to be moving away from the door, however.

"Hey Mei." He hissed towards his friend before nodding away from the door, hoping she would follow him before she got into any trouble. All he could think about at this point was the possibility of getting detention again, and how awful that had been the first time. She didn't need to have the same thing happen to her.

Regardless of whether or not she followed, Alex ducked into the office next, having seen yet another group of students snooping around in there. Oh look, Yin was here too. Somewhat amused by the thought that Yin was actually joining in the highly questionable snoop fest, he decided perhaps it might be best to warn them of Arel's imminent return.

"Hey guys, everyone, I don't mean to alarm you or anything, but I seems like Arel is going to be back here fairly soon. Might be best to finish up and haul out?"

EXPLORING THE OFFICE

Levi snuck in a bit after Lizzy, hearing the word bro and remembering something. Oh right! Akithor, the boil she'd followed in that trance, kept using it. Bro.

She wasn't really one to mess with the belongings of others. Okay, that might disclude things in certain pranking scenarios, but for the most part Levi was a rather neat monster. So when she saw students pulling and prodding at things, she considered what would be the least destructive to start out with.

Looking around, creeping along the floor in general sneakily, Levi passed by the demoness, reaper and lupine uttering just a few words as she searched.

Don't know, bro. But lookin' 'round fer somethin'. It was a hunt.

FLEEING FROM BATHROOM

"Uhm, yeah. Time to gooooo." The kitsune whispered to no one, not exactly being inconspicuous as he turned around and walked briskly down the hallway. He ended up passing a few of the others that were snooping with him, oh and he accidentally bumped in to Ulmuka.

"Sorry, dude!" He said regaining his posture, looking over with a shrug of his shoulders. s**t happens, right?

Remi kept walking fast. Suddenly that boring room from before seemed mightily interesting...

Though he wondered too what this was all about.

Mei's eyes widened as the voices were louder. She wondered what this 'key' was?

She turned to Alex, her eyes widening even more as the realization that they might get caught popped up in the back of her mind. The small ghoul tried not to be a trouble maker but everyone snooping had set her snoop senses tingling.

Forgetting her hand was over her mouth, she tried to respond to Alex before a light bulb went off and she removed her hand from her mouth. "Right..." She whispered now.

Still though, she was curious ever more. So she followed after Alex, keeping underfoot like always, back to the office, squinting at the others and the mess that it still contained.

FOLLOWING THE TRAIL

Mei had ended up following after a group of students headed towards..well, she had no idea where they were going. She had never taken this route through the school before, so where they were it was they were sneaking off to, was completely unknown to the living doll. Having the choice to follow after them, or stay behind and do more of her school work, Mei had decided that, thanks to all the issues around this school, her curiosity would nag at her until she had gone as well.

So here she was. No idea where this place was, or why everyone was so bent on checking this place out. On top of that, there was a locked door, as well as voices on the other side. Moving closer, she struggled to listen in on what was being said on the other side.

Conversation between the students gathered led Mei to discover their location at least. The other bathroom. she had heard Jack awful tales of this place, and that people in detention had to..serve out some of their time here. Poor slobs..

Before noticing, they were already busted. Without hesitation, Mei quickly made her way far from the other bathroom as fast as possible.

Shun paused as he heard Lizzy.

"... Bro?" he blinked before straightening up a bit, "Arel's in the bathroom speaking with someone. Possibly a Boogey. I think they're looking for a way to get to that cavern from the trance."

Frowning, he tried to pull Mitsu away from the tentacle, then glanced to see Leo come on by.

"Not a trap... I think it might be our headmistress..." he murmured.

Lou rubbed his chin as he looked down at the fancy pants ornate box. Could be worth some dough if he pawned it off somewhere.

Then another boil approached him. What, were those antennae? Was he a bug? Were bugs not able to tell gender or something?

Just to be on the safe side, Lou grabbed his own chest and squeezed. Maybe that gender bending thing two-tones told him about had happened without him noticing? Nope, no chest fat. What a shame.

The boil's spiral eyes only stared at Yin for a short time before shrugging and grabbing the box. "Yoink!" A sound effect to go appropriately with the action, though it was now made obvious that he had a masculine voice.

"Gee, thanks honey bunch. Forgive me if you're not my type."

Lou then began to try and jostle the lid open. Hm. Well then. "It's locked." Was that going to deter the vampire? No. If it was locked, that meant there was something good inside.

So Lou sat the box down on the floor and tried to break it open with the heel of his shoe.

Of course even while talking to Mei, the zomboil couldn't help but also try and keep tabs on Yin, in case some kind of trouble went down. And so it was that his attention was clearly divided, though he decided to stick with the ghoul, knowing full well that if it came down to some kind of catastrophe, Yin could take care of himself.

But Mei was so small and clearly innocent and...wait, what was she going on about now? Horrible ring shackle?

Alex had to chuckle at her, shaking his head so that his hair ended up in his eyes. Ugh, time to get another cut, it seemed. "I think...it might have something to do with the secret room..the cavern full of treasure..that we saw during our trance.: Alex had no idea if Mei had been a part of that particular 'field trip' and hadn't actually spent any time talking about it with anybody since it happened. The events he had witnessed still had him feeling uneasy, and he still wondered what exactly had become of the ghoul who's eyes he had watched events unfold through.

Some commotion with his bonded had him looking that way again. Oh, it was nothing really, just Yin calling somebody who was quite obviously a boil 'Miss'. Really if he wasn't so worried right now about getting caught, he might have just leaned back against a wall to watch the show and be thoroughly entertained.

Back to Mei now, Alex couldn't help but agree with her. There really didn't seem like much they could do. His eyes followed her gaze, however, and he noticed that she was looking at the cider bottles with a bit of a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

Perhaps she wasn't so sweet and innocent as he first assumed.
