Danny just laughed and screamed like an idiot the entire way. By the time the roller coaster had reached the bottom, she hopped out and was ready to go on the next one. Heck, she'd go on this one a second time. Danny just liked roller coasters. A lot.
"Okay what next? More big coasters! MORE!" she said, bouncing excitedly as she walked down the ramp towards the ride's exit. "I wanna go on ALL OF THEM!"

Roch hadn't let go of Amphi's hand. In fact he tugged her out of the cart, making sure to keep her steady. "Y'alright?" he asked, grinning widely and not caring that his hair was a mess. "Not gonna hurl on me or anything, are you?"

That was...THRILLING.
But still overwhelming, and for a sea creature who was not use to such things, her legs were wobbly. She leaned heavily for a moment so they could get use to it before steadying herself.
"I wanna go on another...." She looked determined, her face set into a thin line as she pointed out another ride..."How about that one?!?!" It looked positively terrifying with its slow lift into the sky and then sudden drop to the ground.
She was terrified. That was okay.
"I can handle that!" She said as she tugged Roch's hand....and then took Gene's too. "Will you ride with us too?" She looked at the ghoul before calling out to Danny. "DANNY...CAN WE GO ON THAT ONE?" She said, gaining the fire demons attention.

Heyyy. Amphi was leaning rather suspiciously, and since the gravity wasn't doing anything funky ... was she okay? Maybe her legs were going all wobbly again.
Danny ran in front of the group and squatted down. "Hop on Amphi! I'll carry you to the next ride, okay?" THAT'S WHAT BEST FRIENDS WERE FOR!
She looked off in the direction Amphi was pointing. That one looked ... AWESOME. She turned around and gave her friend a silent nod and a thumbs up, even while squatting. Excellent choice!

Gene phased in and out to get her hair to fall back into place, before having her hand taken and then let go of by Amphi. "Yeah, sure. That seems like a fun one. Roch can choose after this, then I'll choose a ride, and I guess we can take a break after that."
In that moment, Gene realized she was the chaperone of the group; making sure no one got hurt or did anything that would cause them to get kicked out of the park. Where was Mot with his flask of beans when you needed him?

"Don't rush her," Roch said. "Ain't much difference between gettin' carried around by you or by a roller coaster." It was obvious that the ghoul was terrified, but that wasn't what the punk was noticing. What had him shoving his free hand into his pocket to keep from hugging the mermaid was how obvious it was that she was DEALING with the fear.
But if she did want carried, Danny would be the better choice. Right now, with her still not having picked a guy of the two she liked, well, he was on his best behavior. Although he supposed he could get away with a piggyback ride, it wouldn't piss him off if another guy gave her one. But wouldn't it sort of defeat the purpose of her stubbornness? She was out to do this herself, right?
Jackdammit, he'd started thinking too much again...

Amphi agreed with Gene's plan. It sounded solid. She could survive three more rides...."Ah...Thank you Danny!" She giggled, "If you want to carry me That's okay! But if I get to heavy, YOU HAVE TO PUT ME DOWN." Amphi enforced and then slid her arms around Danny neck, then latched her legs and climbed on.
And then Amphi and Danny walked into the sunset, love blossoming between them forever emotion_kirakira The end.
"Ah Danny, Your so warm! Nothing less to expect from a fire demon!" The mermaid chuckled again, "I hope this ride isn't too...scary." She was still determined of course.....She'd see how she'd feel after this ride though....
But being thrilled wasn't a bad thing! She peeked over at Roch, flushing at him and then giving him a shy smile and wave. ONWARDS THEN.

Danny laughed at Amphi. That poor tiny thing- getting heavy? Cute joke Amphi, really. You're lookin' at the ghoul who beat Roch up. Carrying a tiny, little mermaid was no big deal.
She wove her way through the crowd until they were standing in line for Amphi's ride. Danny still hadn't let go of her lover friend's neck.
"And you said you'd get heavy," Danny said, readjusting Amphi on her back. Man, yet another time where she wished she REALLY DIDN'T HAVE WINGS. "Oh- hey Roch. Happy birthday! I never got to say it to you 'cause you were in the shower!"

Gene could totally see the blushing and flushing that was going on between the punk and the mermaid. She smiled and whistled, walking behind Danny and a little bit ahead of Roch. He seemed more mature since she last saw him - not counting in the whole saving her at prom from being mauled by a crazed Horseman - but she was still slightly uncomfortable with him. Maybe she'd say something about the blooming romance later.
Once they got in line, Gene leaned in to whisper very, very quietly in Danny's ear. "Hey, after this ride, let's sneak off and leave these two alone for some private time."

Roch had his hands shoved into his pockets and was trailing along behind them, looking left and right as he tried to figure out what ride he wanted to go on. For a second his eyes lingered on the ferris wheel--then he looked away from it, not about to mention that one EVER. Then he caught sight of something that made him grin, memories of booberry tea racing through his mind.
"I think we should go on the teacups next," he called to the others. "They ain't roller coasters, but they're a hell of a lotta fun!" And Amphi might enjoy them. "Oh, and thanks, Danny," he called. "But it was my SECOND birthday, which, seriously, ain't that big a deal."

Amphi shifted nervously on Danny's back as they waited in line, looking at the ride. Wide eyes, she watched as they got closer that the rise was probably the worst part. It was building all that tension, anticipation...
Startled at Roch, she looked at him and then the teacups and smiled.
"That ride sounds fun!" She bounced like a child, excited for the next one. Those same child like eyes turned to Gene. "Gene...what ride will you choose!?!" SOMETHING AMAZING TOO GENE!?!?
"Don't let him lie though! We had cupcakes, he really liked cupcakes..." She flushed again, thinking of just what had happened in that room. Oh frosting....her blush reddened even more.
"It's our turn!" Amphi slid off the fire demon's back and raced to the seats. Maybe she would be distracted by the ride instead of other things.

Danny nodded, putting Amphi down as they reached the front of the line. She didn't even noticed the mermaid ghoul's blush- Danny figured it was probably just her heat aura getting to everyone.
"Dude you should see him with smoothies," she said, sticking a hand up so everyone could see it was clearly a message for Amphi. Seriously, go buy the boil a smoothie and watch him go crazy.
When Gene whispered in her ear, at first Danny was sad. She didn't want to leave them! She loved her friends, why would they want to-
Ohhhhh. As in give them alone time, so they could- okayokay. That she understood. She nodded quickly at Gene. Plan leave-Amphi-and-Roch-alone-for-couple-time was in action!

"Oh...the carousel looks wonderful; I really like that zombie pony. Let's go on that after the Teacups." Because one, she wanted something relaxing and two, because Danny didn't need to get so excited she'd explode okay. But mostly mommy just wanted some down time.
Strapping herself into the ride, she turned to Amphi. "I hope you're ready for this!"

Roch slid in next to Amphi, keeping his hand low as he offered it silently to her. He wasn't trying to get attention, in fact he seemed downright subtle about the move, it was SUPPORT, okay, just support.
"The carousel?" he repeated, looking at Gene blankly. He seriously didn't get why she'd want to ride the kiddy--oh, he realized. "First trip to a themepark, yeah, probably a good idea." Although it sounded boring as hell. "Then foo--" And the ride took off before he could bring up food.
He wouldn't forget it, obviously.

Amphi bounced as she pulled the seat cover over her, her hands automatically went to the poles to hold her still. Then she felt the gentle nudge of Roch's hand, looking over at him and placing her own in it.
"It'll be fun I hope..." She breathed in as the ride rose to the top, slowly and antogonizingly.
Then it plummeted down, leaving the mermaid no time to even scream...It rose again, Amphi giggling and squeezing Roch's hand each time the rose to the top and fell. It was only two more times but....When the Mermaid got off the ride, she was feeling energized. No more scared then any other scareling!
"That was Amazing! I like that ride." She was still holding Roch's hand, this time tugging him towards the teacups. "Last one there...um..." She flushed and then shook her head, "Nevermind! I want the blue teacup Roch?" She pointed, smiling at him.
