"Hmm, perhaps," said Arciere, looking back at Light curiously. She paused in thought for a moment, still balancing at the base of Melfina's tail with ease. She almost seemed to be doing it subconsciously. "I believe in fate, in destiny. ...Except I don't think anyone should be condemned to one fate-- I believe people are able to... choose the path they walk." she said at last, closing her eyes and letting out a pent-up breath. The hadn't realized she had been holding her breath. "So... those things that happen... they are caused by people, themselves. They happen for a reason... and the reason is because of the person." she finished her little speech about a philosophic idea such as fate and things that happened for certain reasons. She kept her gray eyes on Light, narrowing them slightly as she watched him.

"Go ahead light if she is the one then..." Melfina said so only light could hear. "Arciere there is something you should know. The reason i was in the forest was because i was tracking a darkbeast.Something unknown is causeing bad things to happen and everyday things get worse. There is a legand where i am from. Long ago a girl and a dragon tamer met in a time much like now. While little was and is known about the girl it is said her and the tamer restored peace to the world. I am sure your not the same girl but what if.." Light said as Melfina changed direction.

Arciere raised her eyebrows, opened her mouth once, then closed it as if she thought what she was going to say wouldn't be sufficient enough. She slowly sat down, holding onto one of Melfina's spinal spikes to keep from getting thrown off easily. She looked away from Light, biting her lip as she kept silent, keeping only her thoughts to herself. It was several moments before she replied with a light tone, "But I'm obviously not that girl-- I can't even remember my real name! You probably have me mistaken for someone else..." Although she spoke almost cheerfully, her emotions on the inside were quite the opposite. Restore peace to a whole world? Why does this legend seem so... familiar? I know I've never heard anything like it, memories or not, but yet... I've always dreamed of a land like this... where the legends are living and breathing, the myths alive.
She looked back up at Light, keeping her pale grey eyes trained on him. "I guess I'm not filled in all the way. What is the history of this land, really? I mean, a lot of this is really a lot to take in... my first day in some new world and I'm being told I may or may not be some special girl who helped change a whole world." Her mind was suddenly working, thinking, processing. "What happened to the girl after peace was... restored?" Suddenly she felt like she didn't want to know the answer. Arciere felt like the once-open air of the world around her was closing in on her, suffocating her. She felt like running far from this man and this beast, to hide and never look upon daylight again. When are we going to get to this damned village?! she screamed mentally, however keeping a straight face. Her knuckles turned white as her grip on Melfina's spike tightened.
(Tried to add a little more detail here, so I kind of improvised a tiny bit. Hope Melfina has spikes! xD)

((I left how melfina looked so vauge so you would have something to work with.)) "As I said i doubt you are the girl from the legand that legand is over two thousand years old. I just thought maybe the same thing was happening again." Light said before he heard her ask what happened to the girl. "No clue. She vanished and has not been seen since. The tamer told people she had returned to her home but that made no sense because like you she seem to have no home." Light said before a couple of dragons carrying people appeared. "How was the mission Light?" A guy on a red dragon asked as he flew up beside them. "And what is with the girl? I thought..." A girl said sounding a bit mad as light gave her a cold stare to shut her up. "The mission was a success as always. As for the girl let my dad know he needs to gathere the village." Light said before they flew off and light started to go below the clouds. "Sorry but i need to know something so i brought you too my village." Light said as a village came into view. "Welcome to the village of draco!" Light said as dragons could be seen not only flying around but doing all kinds of things.

Arciere breathed a sigh of awe, and secretly of relief, as her sight met the village and the beasts that wheeled in the sky. "This place is beautiful!" Already, more questions were blooming from the girl's lips, "Gather the village? Is your dad... like, the leader or something? And the dragons! Is this the only place they inhabit? Do they live anywhere else?" Her voice teasing, she added, "Who was that woman? Your girlfriend?" Arcire grinned childishly and waited patiently (she seemed patient to herself, anyway) as Melfina descended towards the ground with light wing beats and steady movement.

Light looked back smile as the girl stood awe struck. "No my dad is not our leader he is the head tamer. My mom is our leader." Light said as they laned carefully near the castle like place way in the back of the village. "And yes this is the only place dragons will live. We do not know why however." Light said as he jumped off melfina and used magic to gently land on the ground. Light said before she spoke of the girl. "No she is my sister. My wife to be died when I was thirteen. She was poisoned by someone who hated the mereger of our two clans." Light said calmly sounding like it did not phase him. Melfina however was not so nice about the commet and tossed Arciere into a nearby pond when light had turned his back to see if his mother had came out.

"H-hey!" yelled Arciere as she was sent sailing through the air and into the pond. With a gargantuan splash, she sunk deep into the cool water before letting out a small breath to watch the bubbles as they rose and to orient herself. She clawed her way to the surface, gasping and sputtering before yelling at the top of her lungs, "What the hell was that for, you deranged beast!" Arciere sped to the shore of the pond and dragged herself out of the water, soaked and shivering. "Haven't you ever heard of a sense of humor?"
She wrung out her hair for a few moments before making her way to Light's side, calming herself once again. "Sorry... about your... betrothed." murmured Arciere before falling silent again, not sure what else to say. She ended up staring at her feet at the ground.

Light quickly turned as he heard a splash. "Melfina never do that again now take off!" Light said so only melfina could hear. "Sorry about that. The death was harder on melfina then me since her dragon died with her and melfina had fallen for hers." Light said as Arciere walked up to him. Melfina flew off looking mad because of what light said to her in there minds. "No need to be sorry i was only going along because it was arranged and i had no choice." Light said as a lady walked out of the building. "Light You know how i feel about you speaking like that." The lady said upon hearing light. Lights face suddenly went pale. "Sorry mom!" He said as he turned to face her. The lady looked towards Arciere with a odd look. (( pic of his mom. Also sorry about the poor post pc is acting up again. ))

Arciere immediately straightened and held out a hand in greeting. The words she spoke seemed to come naturally to her, as if she had said something oddly similar before, "Pleased to meet you, ma'am. Your son seems to have... rescued me from my predicament. For that, I am eternally grateful." Weird... I don't... usually speak like this...

Light smiled as did his mom. "Arciere no need to be so formal we are warriors not nobels." Light said noticeing that flicker in her aura again. For a moment both light and his mom stared at her with a odd look. His mom then spoke. "Now i see why light saved you." Lights mom said as a sliver dragon flew over them. "Arciere is it. You see that dragon flying above us?" lights mom said pointing to a sliver dragon that had no spikes or legs. "I am surprised she is still around." Light said thinnking out loud.

"I believe... respect is due to all who deserve it," said the girl with a smile. She seemed not to notice the rather strange looks she was receiving. Or she ignored them. When Light's mother pointed out the silver dragon, Arciere eyed the circling creature thoughtfully before returning her gaze to Light's mother. "It has no legs" she noted, "It's different from the others."

"She acts and has a aura like a warrior but has almost no fighting skills." Lights mom thought After hearing her speak about respect. She looks at light as if asking something. "Yes mom i told her the legand." Light said as the dragon flew down and landed infront of Arciere. "That dragon is known as the dragon of space. In its whole life it has only came near one other." Lights mom said leaveing it up to her to figure out the rest.

For some reason, Arciere didn't really feel all that surprised. But she knew she should have been. She knew none of this, yet it was all too familiar. The creature's name came immediately to her, like a recalling a bliss-filled memory. "Sempre," she breathed as she reached her out to touch the muzzle of the silver beast. Sempre almost seemed to be crooning softly to her, the sound warm and deep like darkness. Her hide was starlight, the draconic scales glinting in the sun. "I... know this one." said Arciere slowly as she looked into the deep pools that were the silver dragon's eyes.
A silent message seemed to pass between the two and Arciere sharply turned her gaze to Light's mother. "Did the girl in the legend... does she have any... descendants?" she asked, her brain once again working. If I'm not a.. descendant of some kind... could I be that same person, reincarnated? Arciere released her hand from Sempre, who gave her a somber look before taking to the air once more. She opened her mouth to say more, but abruptly cut off before she could say anything. She stumbled to one side, nearly tripping. Suddenly the world was tipping sideways, up was down and down was up. A wave of vertigo seized her, washing over her like a violent wave. "I-I.. thhinnnk I need'ta.. reeessst..." she slurred weakly. Am I.. going to... pass out? Even her mind seemed to be stuck like honey. Her eyelids were fluttering and her eyes began to roll back into her head as her knees buckled and the ground rushed to meet her.
(You want to do a quick time-skip until she wakes up? xP I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head right now. I know I didn't give your characters a chance to answer her question -- that's fine. Can always bring it up later or something. Hope that's okay. ;-; )

Light and his mom watched as Arciere pet the dragon and noticed the flicker in her aura as she did. "There is no doubt now!" They both thought as the dragon reacted to her touch in such a calm way. Just as lights mom went to answer her question light noticed Arciere looking like she was about to fall. "There she goes!"Light said catching her before she hit the ground. "Light there is no doubt She is a descendant of the girl. Place her in one of the spare bedrooms to rest. We shall let her know what we know fully after she awakes and gets some food in her."
"Understood mom." Light said before he walked off to place her in a spare bedroom. ((Time skip.)) Light walked into the room and sat down in a chair. "To think a descendant of Miss Munashii does not even carry a bow and arrow on her."Light said thinking out loud as he sat and waited for her to wake up. ((It is ok truth be told it made responding to the reply that much easyer.))

Slowly, Arciere peeled open her tired eyes. "Ughn..." Her head pounded. It felt like she had just been kicked by a horse. "The hell...?" she mumbled, trying to sit up but instead being greeted by a wave of vertigo and pain. She groaned and dropped back down to a rather soft pillow and instead studied the low-hanging ceiling, which was a neutral beige that appealed to her sore eyes. "Sempre..." she breathed, staring glassily upwards.
The ancient dragon had done this to her, she could feel it. Her vision flickered and an image of a valiant-looking woman in obsidian armor appeared in her sight. Her dark hair flew out behind her like a shadowy banner, and at her hip rested a glistening silver sword. Arciere could imagine the blade cutting through flesh like it was nothing. In the warrior-woman's hands, she held a bow whose wood was dark. She had an ebony-featherd arrow nocked, and seemed to be sighting in on an enemy. Immediately the image vanished, leaving the girl with a feeling of loss, even though she could still remember this vision with ease.
She shifted her vision to the man in the chair. "Light...?" she whispered hazily.
