OOC:Just so you guys know the giant snake never vanished with Kaito, Kaito summoned it then left for a 'parting gift' with Konoha for the time being, so the hole in the ground isn't the only damage it caused xD It kinda was thrashing around and causing destruction...

Ah, I see. Since I wasn't controlling the snake I'm not going to complain about how you killed it so easily. Thanks for the clarification.

Ah, I see. Since I wasn't controlling the snake I'm not going to complain about how you killed it so easily. Thanks for the clarification.
No problem, but it really wouldn't have mattered at the speed I was traveling a summon wouldn't have stood a chance at escaping unless it was a boss summon then it might have stood a chance.
As Kira fell, she found herself being dragged from underneath the rubble before she was crushed. With an 'ack!' she was placed by the famous Jounin she had just helped. Staring up at him, her face was a mask of pure unemotionlessness, yet on the inside she was nearly gawking at the man. As all the afterimages were created, all she could do was watch as a blur of the blue man was all she saw. Her eyes widened slightly at his speed, and the fact that he could take on two of konoha's jounin without breaking a sweat. Then there were his birds, amazing creatures in an of themselves. Though, when they left, and Kira was assign a mission, she just shrugged. The village had never really cared for her, considering that all she did was steal from them (even though it was only the necessities). So why should she care for them?
Ayame had finally made it up to Kai, using her feet to stop herself, which caused her to slide to a sudden stop and kick dust. She examined the area very carefully. It didn't appear there were anyone nearby, but the family who they seemed to be getting closer to. Time was running out, and they had to hurry.
"Which way now? Im not good with directions."
Ayame asked as she turned to face Kai, knowing that his bugs would easily be able to track them down and show the way.
Just as Ayame appeared beside Kai another beetle returned and began the quick clicking sounds used to communicate. Kai took a couple more steps out and listened as his other bugs returned. Why had all the shinobi just vanished. Is the attack over like that? They are leaving us to live.. or have we won?.. no that can't quite be it because there were still a great number of shinobi present in the village that could have taken us out from the inside. Why would they just up and leave? This makes no sense. Kai scanned the village once over and witnessed the destruction of many houses rooftops, not a complete wreck; however, the damage was reparable. This confused Kai more than anything. He wanted greatly to know what their goal was and if they had succeeded or had been warded off. Before long a shinobi of the village appeared before them with a message from the hokage himself. From the message delivered all shinobi, including genin. Once the shinobi left to relay the message to the rest of the village Kai turned to Ayame, "Well I guess we'd better get to work huh?"

Ayame stared at the beetle intensely as it returned, watching very closely. She couldn't help but still not like being touched by bugs. As long as it was far away, she was fine. She noticed Kai seemed quiet for a while, which probably meant he was deep in thought. And she figured she should wait for him to come to his senses first before they would be able to help at all. Strangely enough, there didn't seem to be any pray around. She just hoped this whole event was long over and would never return. Ayame watched as a person had delivered a message to them, before once again fading away to somewhere else. She looked up to face Kai, who had just began to finally speak.
"What work? Do you mean rebuilding everything broken?"
Ayame asked, a tad bit confused on what Kai had meant.
╔══════════════╗ Kai nodded, "Yeah it's a special mission to all shinobi and any villagers who are up for the task. We are to begin fixing the buildings and restoring our great village back to its original form.. no even better than the original. This is an opportunity for us to build, not only the houses and structers, but to build our village piece by piece. As a jigsaw becomes complete so will our people. We will work together hand in hand until every piece is put into place and after we are done, there will be a new sense of unity. The destruction laid upon us by those guys was a mistake.. Konoha will never be beaten, for as the phoenix we will only raise from our ashes stronger than ever!" There was a fire in Kai's eyes that had never been there before. He felt as though he had more of a purpose. This was the start to something grand and he knew it. It saddened him that so much termoil was created, but he was also hopeful and confident that it was give birth to a new him, a new village, and a new force to be reconed with. ╚══════════════╝ *OOC: *
Atsui sighs as he walks over to the girl he had met earlier, who was speaking with a boy he had never seen before. This entire battle had been stupid, and completely unprovoked. The young Jounin was definitely looking forward to getting the repairing done. Ataui smiles down at Ayame, "hey Ayame, are you hurt?" he asks her, worried a bit. He himself was perfectly fine. Being a Jinchuuriki, he didn't run out of chakra very easily at all. Having heard part of her and the boy's conversation, he turns to the boy, "no, you two don't have to worry about that. There are Chuunin and Jounin who can handle that. I think that thr priority here should be for me to train you Genin. I know what the Hokage said but preparing you for another attack I think should be priority. The damage is little and the village should be repaired before the day ends anyway."
OOC: Kai, a member of my Jounin's squad Jineko hasn't been online for awhile. Until she is, how would you like to be the temporary third member of squad one? Heck, maybe not even temporary since she hasn't been on for a pretty long time so it might end up permanent lol either way since you're an Aburame your tracking would be extremely helpful xD
╔══════════════╗ Kai turned quickly at the sound of another voice he hand't recognized. He didn't quite sense this shinobi as it approached. He must be a chunin, jounin at best.. I wonder who this guy is. Taking another quick look at him as he spoke to Ayame it clicked, This is that same guy from earlier. The one who summoned all of those clones. Kai took a few steps over to join in on the conversation.
"So does that mean you're going to train me as well? I haven't been placed on a squad quite yet. I was supposed to find out who my sensei was to be today, but I take it things got complicated."
Kai thought to himself of how wonderful it would be to learn some new jutsu. He had felt so useless himself durring this last attack. Even some missions sounded nice. He looked at the boy standing before him, He looks quite young for a jounin, but I guess looks can be decieving.
"The name is Kaizuru Aburame, but you can call me Kai if you'd like. Who are you?" ╚══════════════╝ *OOC: Yeah that sounds great. I couldn't wait to hop onto a squad. *

As Kai spoke, Ayame had glanced thoroughly from the village, looking from up to down, and left to right. The surrounding was just plain terrible. Many buildings destroyed, the ground covered with most of the parts to it. There seemed to be a ton of repairing that needed to be done. She turned back over to Kai, as he spoke words of wisdom how Konaha will only become stronger in the end. She smiled, as he seemed to take such destruction lightly. And all that had happened, he knew if theres a will, theres a way to fix it and make it even better then before.
"And you know what? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! If anything, we had gotten way stronger from this battle and were better then ever!!"
Ayame shouted a bit, smiling excitedly for their gain. Even though such a terrible thing has happened, it only came off stronger. It may not have been a waste at all. Or maybe even for the better.
Ayame noticed Atsui coming over. She remembered he was the jounin she had met during the battle. She smiled over towards him, waving awkwardly, happy to see he's ok.
"Oh, Im fine."
She nodded her head a bit. She was a little glad to hear that they would be getting in some training instead. She didn't think she'd be much help at repairing anyways. That kind of skills she sucked out. Ayame smiled, as she watched Kai and Atsui greet one another. It made her happy for no reason at all. She couldnt really explain it or why, it just was. And thats all there was to it. She also wondered who would be in her squad, but since a war just ended. It may take some time, and she was pretty patient. She didn't mind the wait, even though it would mean meeting other people. However long it would take, she would wait.
Atsui rubs his chin a bit as he thinks. This boy was an Aburame... that was perfect. He had Komachi, who would be the medic nin on the team when she finally learned some. Then he also had Ayame, who he could teach his sword style, and would be the Kenjutsu specialist. With the addition of this Aburame on the team, they would have a tracker as well thanks to his bugs.
Resisting the urge to giggle like a little kid who just got a candy bar, Atsui turns to Kai and gives his offer, "actually Kai. How would you like to be the third member of our squad? I can't help you much with those bugs of yours, but I'm sure you have clan members who can teach you how to use them. Ayame here is one, and Komachi over there is the other," he says, pointing at another girl not too far away. Speaking of Komachi... "oh, uh, give me your answer later. Just go to the Training Grounds and tell me when I get there. I'll be right behind you two," so with that, he walks past the two Genin. Giving a shirt smile back at them, he walks over to Komachi, "so Komachi, how are you? You hurt anywhere? We're about to go train some, I want you guys to be prepared if anything like this happens again."
Kai took merely a second to think of the proposition. He had already known the answer before Atsui had left. This would be quite interesting. He couldn't wait to get on a squad and he would be on a squad with Ayame as well. Without too much hesitation Kai nodded and began to walk to the training grounds. ╚══════════════╝ *OOC:Exits *
Ayame smiles sweetly, watching as Atsui seemed to giggle a little like she would. It made her happy to know he seemed to be excited about how the teams had worked out so perfectly. Even she felt excitement rising and she may just burst of it at any moment. She listened to Atsui tell Kai tell the good news and what kind of teams everyone would be on. She waited a bit, seeing what Atsui would tell them to do. And he had told them to go head to the training grounds. Even though she wasnt good with directions or finding the right place, she decided to give it a shot. She watched as Kai and Atsui had soon left completely, disapearring within the distance. She was happy to be on the same team with Kai, as they already pretty much know one another and are closer to becoming friends. And her and Atsui had already gotten to meet one another. She couldnt wait to meet the other members. Ayame thought about what a great time a team like this could do together, and soon skipped happily towards the training grounds.
