All noises immediately stopped when Riyo heard her name called, the tail sticking out of the cabinet immediately prickling till each hair stood on end. Oh no.
OH HELL NO!
The door opened enough for a clawed hand to reach out and grab the tail, then the cabinet door was slammed shut.
"Y-you have the wrong number." A meek, muffled voice called back out. That was Xiu, wasn't it? Oh s**t. No, no, no. She couldn't let the baku see her like this. See her so vulnerable. "Go away please."

Xiu stared at the hand that reached out to pull the tail into the cabinet, only to flinch when the door slammed closed. Eep. However, this--and Riyo pleading for her to leave--was not enough to deter the baku. Shooting Siobhan another worried look, she cleared her throat
"What happened, Riyo? Why are you hiding in there?" And have you been crying? The baku's ears drooped with worry, and she reached out to try pulling the cabinet door open.
"Can you talk to us about it?"

"Eep!" The door opened and closed so suddenly, the hand making it obvious whoever was in there was clearly not a mini pet. It seemed Xiu knew her, and Siobhan looked at the baku with an equally worried expression. "Why is she pretending to be a skelephone?" She whispered in a hoarse voice.
She leaned over as Xiu called to her, her dark hands clasped under her chin.

In said cabinet, Riyo had curled in around her legs, chin tucked tightly inbetween her knees with her tail now wrapped around them. There were tear stains all down her face and more still threatening to escape her bloodshot eyes.
"I just.. wanted to be alone to wait out the party." The ghoul answered honestly, her voice cracking slightly. Should she let Xiu open the door? Would it be so bad if the baku saw her like this?
Wait. US? SOMEONE ELSE WAS THERE.
Without warning Riyo scrambled to grab the door and shut it again. "WHO? WHO ELSE IS THERE?" Was it TITUS? Oh Jack no no no no. What if it was someone she didn't know? someone she didn't TRUST? fffffff!

Xiu shook her head at Siobhan and gave a half-shrug. She...wasn't sure what the skelephone impersonation was about either, though she figured it was had just been a desperate attempt to get them to leave. In either case, she wanted to know just what it was that had brought her friend to tears.
She began to relax when she felt the cabinet door open smoothly with no resistance, only to squeak and clutch onto the banshee when it suddenly snapped shut. W-what?! Why did--oh!
"C-calm down, Riyo!" The baku pleaded, trying to keep her voice soft and coaxing, "I'm with my friend Siobhan. She's very, very nice, and I trust her." Had Riyo and Sio met before? Xiu wasn't so sure, but she tacked on that last part just in case, hoping that it would prove to be some kind of reassurance for the bakeneko.

The banshee shrieked as the door slammed again, clinging to Xiu as she did to her. Goodness! An angry kitty was in there!
Siobhan looked to Xiu with a deep frown, "I can leave if angry kitty does not want me here.." The banshee looked worriedly at the cabinet, inching behind Xiu for safety.
"Maybe I should go get her some tuna?"

"Xiu..." The cat ghoul whined behind the door. "It's just... It's not right. I don't want to make a scene. I don't even want people to know I have tear ducts to produce water from my eyes..."
Riyo twiddled her fingers silently before she continued. "I'm here of my own accord, Xiu. Nobody put me here. It was my own actions that caused me the pain I'm in." Though she still didn't want to take responsibility for Mitsu crying. To admit that was to drive another needle through her heart. "I just... I don't want to have friends if all I do is disappoint them."
Though, once again the feline fell silent as she heard another voice pipe up with a rather familiar and positive word.
"... T-t-tuna?"

Other bathroom
"Shehk? Are you al--"
Shehk was notably not in this room. And in fact, it looked like something was going on in here.
"Er. Sorry. Wrong room," Jericho said while clearing his throat and quickly backing out. Ok. So she didn't go into the other bathroom.
Outside the girl's room
Regathering himself, the dragon knocked on the door to the girl's room.
"Shehk? Are you alright in there?" he called out. This room, he was a little less willing to just barge into.

Ghoul's Bathroom
Shehk looked towards the door, frowned a bit, then pipped up with a sniffle - "I'm...I'm okay..." she answered before more weeping. Clearly, Shehk was a horrible liar and needed to work on her skills in that.
Then again, she'd always been rather clear in her emotions.

Jericho frowned as he heard that answer. She was sniffling, and it sounded like there were some sobs thrown into the mix.
"Is.. anyone else in there right now?" he asked quickly.

Girl's room
And so Jericho went on and entered. He didn't see Shehk initially, but he could hear her sniffles coming from within one of the stalls. Slowly, he approached, peeking into it to see the girl curled up in the corner. Frowning, he stepped inside and crouched down by her.
"Hey... what's wrong?" he asked. Something must have happened while he was hanging around Riley. He hadn't spotted the Pricolici with anyone during that time, so he didn't have much of a clue as to what might have happened.

Shehk looked up from where she'd curled up, trying to not look too distressed (easier done because of the mask, actually), offering the dragon a small smile. "We need to stop meeting in bathrooms." she joked before she sighed, folding her arms over her knees and laying her head on top of her arms.
For a minute, she actually didn't answer his question. Instead, she drew out a long sign and thought about how to actually answer it.
"A lot of things are wrong." she finally answered. "Not everything, but a lot of things."

Jericho smiled weakly at the first comment, then waited to see if she was going to answer his question. Well. She kind of did. It was an incredibly vague answer that didn't really tell him a whole lot.
"Care... to tell?" he asked, "It might help... maybe."
