"Raagh, stop dodging about, I'm gonna peg you one on the horn!"

It wasn't like Aprife to be so last minute, but it felt like as soon as he'd gotten there, an arm full of balloons were shuffled into his grip and he was ditching his bag on the sand so it wouldn't end up soaked. Eyes darted around at the other competitors and it didn't take long before he chose his first target. Something about strong looking redbloods made him think about shovels... and he wasn't a fan of those.

Oops, okay. That yellowblood he hit on accident had not been his target at all. He slunk away from the scene of the crime, off to find a target a bit further away from his teammates. Hopefully that would help his aim.

Another hit, another grin, and Aprife was off again, skirting along the sand to find his next victim. It didn't take long before he swung back his arm and threw again, hoping the dwindling supply of ammo in his arms would help keep his aim steady.

Alifax started to regret having signed up. He didn't want to offend highbloods by hitting them with water! Wasn't there someone...lower? That wasn't on his team?

As it was, there were very few trolls who had lower bloodhues than he did, so he was pretty sure he was the lowest on his team anyway. Actually, he'd almost missed seeing an orangeblood pass by - it was just that his hue had been so close to red. Taking a breath, he lobbed the balloon in that guy's direction. With any luck, these things worked like his meteors.

Taquin let a smile slip loose as his tyranical target was hit. And then it was quickly washed away as rubber split against the point of his horn, soaking his beautiful hair and splattering drops onto his glasses. UNACCEPTABLE. He quickly spun around and aimed for a redblood who looked a little too happy.

And what did he know, the little bugger tossed again and splattered his orange symbol, the water soaking down past his belt. No. This troll was going down. Taquin fired, and hoped the drops on his specs didn't blur his vision too badly.

It was probably obvious by this point that Alifax was targeting someone, so he wasn't surprised when Taquin turned around and splashed a water balloon at him. Now - well, now his pants were wet, but it wasn't too big of a deal. The orangeblood didn't look too angry, though, right?

Alifax considered the thought, and then lobbed another one at him.

Nearby, he noticed a strong female redblood with that black...tar substance all over her. Also aiming a balloon at his target. "Um...highblood?" he called out. She'd figure out he was talking to her, right? There were...okay, Alifax could probably be referring to anyone. "I think you're out," he told her, more than a little apologetically. It wouldn't hurt to speak up, right?

...she looked really muscular.

Emboldened by his successes and too shy to go after someone with a higher blood color, Alifax continued lobbing balloons at the orangeblood - hitting his mark just as the troll ran off...somewhere else.
