Mitsu's frown deepened. It seemed like an ominous vision but dreams and memories really weren't her strong suit. "I wonder if Xiu would be able to help...I'm....I'm not sure what to do...or how to help you." Admitting that seemed like a physical blow and Mitsu's eyes fell to her hands as she held them together in her lap.

"Maybe. But I don't know if she is really able to tap into memories. She'd probably need me to try and dig into it myself first and foremost," Shun said before noticing Mitsu slump down. Frowning lightly, he reached over and gently took her hand into his own.
"Don't fret. It.. really isn't that big of a deal. I can't seem to help you much on the issue of heights for one. You're doing what you can, and I appreciate it."
He let out a sigh.
"I'm impressed that you hadn't given up on me yet too."

The faintest smile started to make its way back to her face. "And I won't," Mitsu promised. "We're just at a bit of a road block until we figure this out."
Giving his hand a light squeeze Mitsu looked back out over the water. "Xiu might be the best option to try or you can try meditating on it some more. Maybe more will come to you with time."

"We'll have to see about that. Depending on how old the memory is, there might not be much of it left," Shun said. He wasn't even really sure if digging into the memory would help all too much right now. While it would be nice to see what the cause was, if it was that deep seated back, would finding out really do any good to fixing the issue?
"Strange how something seemingly small like that would prevent me from pulling this off..."

"The mind is complicated," Mitsu smiled reaching up to lightly poke Shun by the temple. She then immediately proceeded to shuffle herself into his lap where she comfortably had a seat.
"If you try to work on this though I promise to work on my fear of heights. I'm sure we'll both do better to grow passed our weak points. Maybe I can work on that stuff you are teaching Hel with the jumping and the flying." She made gestures with her arms to indicate the activity she meant. Somehow the word parkour was eluding her at present.

When Mitsu shuffled onto him, Shun lightly wrapped his arms around her to keep her in place.
"I'll try. I can't guarantee that I'll become an expert swimmer any time soon, though. But... maybe I'll be able to at least not... drown instantly," he said while resting his chin onto her shoulder. Her words confused him for a moment, but there was only one thing he was teaching Hel right now. And in a way, it was kind of like flight on land.
"I wouldn't mind teaching you how to do parkour though. I think.. you would enjoy it.. aside from the heights factor."
She did like to run and all.

"It seems like it would be exciting....and terrifying." Mitsu added. She couldn't lie the heights factor still scared her a lot and just imagining being a few feet off the ground sent shivers through her. Even remembering how high she had jumped in her true form made her skin crawl.
"I guess I can jump too but I do like to run. We'll work on it when we're not working on your swimming lessons. Maybe switch between the two so you don't get tired." She snuggled into his hold resting her head lightly against his.

"There is an element of danger to it," Shun admitted. Since it wouldn't be hard to slip and fall at some point. Practice and training were important for this sort of thing.
"But.. that sounds like a good idea to me. In general.... I just need to train harder all in all..." he said with his words drifting off a bit.

"But not over doing it....right?" She looked at him pointedly when she asked wanting to make sure he wasn't planning on exhausting himself. It was one thing to train hard and another to run yourself into the ground.

Shun paused at that.
"I'll.. try not to," he murmured. He was well aware that she did not enjoy it when he overworked himself. It was something he was kind of used to though. A habit that might not be the easiest to break.

"I hope so...I hate seeing you so worn down and injured because you pushed yourself too much." She leaned back into him staring out over the pool. "Do you want to give swimming another try today or do you want a break?"

Nodding quietly in understanding, Shun looked back over the pool, thinking about whether they should continue or not.
"I don't think I'll make too much more progress today. We can come back again another time," he said quietly.
"Besides, I should probably give you time to prepare for the dance."
Girls usually liked to have time for that right? He didn't really know.

Giggling lightly Mitsu nodded. "Alright I guess you're off the hook for now. After Prom don't expect any slack. We're going to keep trying until you can finally swim." She assured.

"Or at least not drown instantly," Shun added before planting a light kiss onto the girl. He was fine with working hard, obviously. But, he still wasn't completely convinced that he'd be able to swim. Well. Actually swim swim at least.

"Not drowning at all would be ideal." Mitsu added. "But come on let's get our things and head back to the dorm to clean up and rest." Leaning into the kiss first Mitsu returned the gesture with a smile before she pushed her way up and headed toward her duffle bag. She only bothered to throw her shirt on over her bathing suit before she turned back to Shun waiting for him before they left.
