Would it be weird for her to ask what his routine was? ...Probably. She was curious though, she never really thought of getting in to a routine thing but it seemed to be working for Bix. Would it work for her?
Maybe she should give it a try.
Before she could open her mouth and ask though, Takeru started to SCREAM in her head about being called a 'unicorn'. "Owowowowowow!" Doubling over she placed her head between her knees and, instinctively, covered her ears. While the screaming was INSIDE her mind she couldn't help it, neither helped.
"Shut UP TAKERU, GEEZ!" She screamed out loud, trying to speak over the loud bitching she was currently hearing within her mind. Tears welled up in her eyes momentarily, oh ******** she was so getting a headache from this. If only flinging the objects was enough to get him out of her mind. "TAKERU your going to break my head in TWO. Then where would you be, partnerless again!"
That caused him to pause, and snort. "Im not a unicorn"
I got that, so shut the hell up so i can explain to Bix and look LESS like a nut case okay?
Looking up, now looking a little reserved, she mumbled under her breath. "...He says he isnt a unicorn."

Bix watched her, understanding of course but yes, she did look like a crazy person! After a moment he just gave a wide eyed nod and a smile. "Sorry Takeru. No offense.."
The albino gave Ceres a chance to recover from mind-break, and then just leaned back on his hands. "You guys need to work on that though. The uhh.. talking out loud and screaming." He meant on both of their parts. "You'll get used to internalizing, just.. think stuff."
He knew everyone took to it at different speeds but it still made him wonder how if she was away, she hadn't worked it all out yet. Perhaps her weapon was more unruly? Even if you aren't fighting your weapon was always with you.
"Does that happen a lot? Him acting like that?" He rubbed his neck, the tiniest hint of pink scar showing on his pale skin.

Inside her mind the Quilin snorted once, content this time that the other make apologized. Still upset from the feel of him, but not as outraged.
Finally being able to think again Ceres used the back of her hand to remove the tears that never fell. "He usually isn't this bad... you just.. touched quite a bit of a sore spot. I made the mistake once and got a huuuuge wake up call ahaha." She rubbed at her forehead next, the headache still there but not as onvious when the screaming stopped.
"Normally i speak mind to mind but... well. Him screaming in my head made me think screaming over him would work. Sort of just came out of my mouth. Stupid huh?"
"You and... Mina." She had to pause to remember her name. "Ever fight?"

"It's not stupid. You're not the only one." Bix waved his hand dismissively. "Mina isn't really a.. hmm.." She was a screamer but it wasn't when she was mad at him. It was a little more embarassing and involved his Charge attacks. He turned pink a moment.
"She's one to give the silent treatment. She's happy to give me her opinion of everyone. No one is good enough, by the way, for anything. At least in her opinion. But yeah.. usually when she's mad she just projects... PISSED at me and says nothing." He shrugged.
"WOMEN." Bix barked a laugh.

"HEY." She said with her eyebrows lowered,lips pushed out. Trying for the 'pouty angry' face, and not sure if she was succeeding. "I should take offense to that, buddy!" She said reaching out and poking him in the chest firmly.
"At least she projects pissed when shes pissed, and doesnt tell you nothing sometimes." That was a inward stab towards takeru, whom sometimes was toodamngood about hiding his opinion at the worst possible times.
She leaned back with a 'haruph', and crossed her arms.

Bix couldn't help laughing at her put-on face and then he acted like she'd permanently wounded him when she poked him in the chest. "Ahhh oohh.. OW.. Killer. Jeez." He flumped to the side on his mattress.
"Oh so he's being a typical guy then? At least I admit my sexes faults." He teased and stuck out his tongue a bit. "Maybe you guys need couples counseling. Actually.. once in the Haunted House I came on this ghost ghoul.. shes looks like something out of Silent Hill.. for real. Well she's almost blind so she didn't know I was a hunter. So she thinks I am a bogeyman, you know their cops? And she thinks my girlfriend is my weapon." He laughed alittle. "Not literally.. but I told her I dated a quetzlcoatl named Mina." Bix's excuse for talking to the ghost and not attacking her was to get information but somewhere along the line things got blurry.
You couldn't be friends with them. Orders were orders. It was all for the cause.
"Have you been there yet?" So much had happened that he didn't really remember when events occured. "It was the mission where we took out one of their teachers? She turned into this giant monster? It got a little toasty." He pulled his collar down to deliberately flash just the top of his scar.
He was pretty sure that mission had been around Halloween but he didn't remember her being there. Did she wake up after that? Between then and Christmas? All the new faces made his head spin.

Arms still crossed she watched out of the corner of her eye, the corner of her lip quirking up to smile at his dramatized reaction to the poke. "Typical guy being so quiet and a pain in the a**."
yes Bix, she was looking at you...
Then she too added her own laughter to his. "Really now? From what you said about Mina im sure she didn't mind." She did say she sounded like a sex phone operator.
"I was there yet not. Was in the tents being bossed around and helping wherever i could, so i never really saw the actual fighting. I did see some of the aftermath though." She remembered some of the bodies that came back from that one. Closing her eyes the mental image was enough to make her twitch. "Oh geeze." She finally took a hint and saw the scar. Standing up she walked around the bed to grab a closer look as he flashed part of the scar to the world. "That looks like one of the worse ones i saw, How bad did you get hit?" She was grateful in her own way back then that she missed that fight. Some of the hunters remaining had horrendous scarring. Though part of her also wished she was there, forever wondering if she could have prevented it.

Bix wasn't much of a medic. He didn't handle the gross stuff well. In the Sahara he'd been puking everywhere. He shuddered a bit when Ceres twitched and he could only imagine some of the things coming into the tents. The House was able to generate any room you could think of with infinite traps and monsters.
"Well at the time I think it as really bad." He clearly hadn't died, because he was here right now. "I coded out though. But.. left a mark." Bix twisted and turned, pulling his shirt off so she could see the pink burn mark over most of his upper and middle back. It was long healed but his fair skin didn't hide it at all.
"Don't chicks dig scars?" He peered over his shoulder at her with a hopeful grin.

Letting out a low whistle, she went right in to her own self proclaimed 'nurse mode' and looked down at the wound with appreciation. She was, after all, training herself to be a in field medic so these things did interest her.
"This must have hurt like a b***h." Captain obvious for realz. Before she could stop herself Ceres ran a cold finger down his back, curious about the texture of the huge thing. It wrapped around his archers back like a glove, a tight fitting one. "Did you have any muscle damage? Sometimes burns this bad can leave stiffness when they heal."
Making a pfft, sound, rolling her eyes too, she stopped inspecting the wound and took a step back, hiding her hands behind her back. "Sorry about that, and hey it is at least a conversation starter." She gave a wink of an eye at that.

"Not much.." He rolled his back a bit. It was stiffer but he sort of tried to ignore that and keep going. He was glad he didn't have to look at it all the time though. Jerry had the scarring on his face. The back was a better alternative. "FEAR shield took the brunt of it but.. I was close to being an EX-BIX." He smiled but it didn't quite meet his eyes. It wasn't funny to almost die.
When she stepped back and gave him a look he grinned a bit. "Oooh and a swing and a miss for Bix. Ah well.. at least I got a wink." The albino turned back again and pulled on his t-shirt.
"You should check out the Haunted House though. If you want to meet some 'weeners and fight out some frustrations." Yeah he called them 'weeners.

The huntress snorted and shook her head, smiling the entire time. Why was it a lot of guys here were such flirts? "Don't quit your day job." She teased back, eyes glittering some.
"Don't die either." She frowned, eyes flicking to his back once more even if the scar was now covered. "Who then would i have to geek out with?" She meant it in a light way, though there was a hint of serious behind her tone. Who'd have thunk she would have come out today and made a friend? Huh.
...
"Really, Bix. Really? Weeners? Dare you to say that to their faces next time you meet one." Knowing her luck, and even just meeting him, he probably already had.

"I wouldn't dream of it." Bix laughed and waved, though she was nice enough to seem amused. "I'm not exactly uhh a ladies man. Not my strong suit. Goofy friend? Yes." He was trying not to think about that sort of stuff lately, trying to move past it. His laughing seemed a bit sour but he shrugged it off to talk to about WORK things.
"Not planning on dying. Though I have a tendency to jump in front of fire for my friends." He grinned but seemed a bit thrilled to have someone that wanted to geek out. "You have no idea how happy I am that someone else likes comics around here! Usually everyone is just like.. politely nodding or passingly interested. It's a relief, honestly." Bix let out a pleasant sigh.
He tucked his legs and shifted to the side, patting the bed. She'd been on the floor and then was looking at his back. It was only nice to invite her to sit on the only comfortable furniture in the room. Hopefully when he made Hunter he could upgrade accommodations.
"They are weird. I'm pretty sure they don't even get it when I call them 'weeners. Most of them are weird as hell."

You know what time it is?
Epic frowny face time! "If you come to me, often, with wounds like this from diving in front of friends, i might just have to smack you." She probably would too. She could understand saving friends, it gave him major brownie points in her book, but sometimes self preservation was needed as well.
Plus she really did not want a friend to die on her. She was still learning
Wandering towards the bed she took her place near the edge of it once more, not uncomfortable at all being there. It was true, only place that was moderately cushiony in the place was the beds. Oh dorm living. "Well we have allan as well, though his sole flavor of comic book tends to run small." She followed up with a mischievous grin. "Anyone else here that tends to run in to the nerdy scene, besides us three?" Can you imagine gathering them all together sometime? Oh thad be a hoot.

"Oh baby. I'm into smacking. Okay okay I'll stop.." he laughed and waved her off. She didn't need to dispute that one. He knew it was bad. The fact was he would probably not stop diving in front of his friends. It was an instinct. Perhaps the willingness made him a good friend but it didn't necessarily make him a better hunter. Self preservation would hopefully help him extended his life expectancy.
"No real nerds. Well Deryk is a gaming guy.. a bunch of the guys like video games actually but thats not exactly the same thing. Also not helpful when most elctronics are worth jack here." Bix missed Xbox. SO. Bad.
"Cass is a movie buff. Mostly horror.. and horror games. She likes comics to some extent too but.. psychological sci fi and fantasy stuff. Really the extent of most of their nerdiness is the interest in reading them. But I think it's more about something to read." Bix shrugged. "I seriously go to the comic store everytime I get leave." He grinned and turned pink like this was a 'loser fact'.

"So the mark of a real nerd is being in to all the things and constantly pursuing to find, read, talk about, and collect then?" Her tone of voice clearly held a smile while she repeated back what he basically just told her, but in a more direct way.
Sure there are nerds, but then there are nerds.
"Maybe sometime we should all invite everyone over, sneak a few pizzas in, and watch movies or something. Maybe see if Deryk has a gaming unit he could bring with him."
"..Can i borrow this?" She said holding up the comic he had handed her earlier, she really did want to finish the thing. "Not exactly what i was hunting for reading wise today but... i think it was worth it. I really should be going though, stuff to do today." More like she probably should stop socializing and get to work.
