And being the direct recipient of that bunny stare finally broke something in him.

"Yyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss," similarly, it wasn't so much an answer as a long, undignified, keening wail of sheer feels. Yep. Thoroughly broken.
