*Razor watched the flamethrower drew closer to where he stood. He looked back at his Mistress whom just stood there. He had a feelings that she wouldn't get out of range of it. At the heat from the fiery attack grew more intense, he stood with his arms out to the sides. taking the full assult from the attack. His teeth grit as the flames singed his face, arms and everything exposed to the fire. The smell of burning wings warfted into the air. Cutting the attack he simply fell forward to the ground. His breath coming hard as he lay quivering.*
"Razor!" Sadie shouted as she came forward and knelt by her fallen pokemon. *rolling him over she gave him some berries to help with the sting of the burns. She looked back at Poke.* "Good match. Maybe I'll beable to beat you next time, if there is a next time." She said with a misplaced smile before helping Razor to his feet, his arm over her shoulders.*

poke and spike just stood there, blinking at what just happened. for one thing they couldn't make heads or tails of it. poke could of sworm razor had more stamina than that. "ah..sure..it was a good match though!" poke finaly said. "l hope you come back to battle me again! cause l really want a rematch!"
she felt bad while recalling spike to his pokeball. She knew razor and kesmi to be a strong duo, and also knew razor to be of the stubbon type. This would of been a big loss for him. Though she would of liked to give them a badge, it would of been pointless.
instead of walking away, she stood there looking a little unsure of herself, wondering what she should do.

*Sadie looked back at Poke still letting Razor lean against her.* "We'll be back when you want that rematch. Don't you worry about that and good luck with your other challenges." She said then walked away from the battle field, Razor feeling as if he had let his mistress down, but Sadie knew batter. He had done well and they'd try again another day.*

The boast called out into the air, and Neko stared at the Island in front of her, excited and nervous all at the same time. She'd battled Poke before but...this would be different, she was trying to win a Badge this time. She herself was a Gym Leader and knew the life that was required to be in such a status, so it made things much harder for her to imagine trying for her First Badge!! She only had one from Angel, but she had been given that as a present from her as their fight had been amazing and both had tried hard.
Stepping down the platform, she made her way onto the sand and waved to the Captain, he was nice to have given her a ride on such short notice, that was for sure. "Are you quite finished playing with boatmen? I want to battle this...Poke!" Neko sighed, and looked down at a pair of red eyes and answered. "Yeah am going, geez Kane you never think about anything else.." Starting on their way both came upon the Gym that they had been looking for near the edge.
"POKE!?!...I hope she's here." Waiting, Neko looked around. This was it.

ohh yes, the poke was there...
she had heard about this, as gym leaders are ususaly informed before they have a battle and such. So she did the usual stuff for preparing for a match. For her it was gonna be unusal as well, for it was her second gym battle in her gym. But hell it was gonna be interesting!
though she decided that, instead of being all formal and such, she might have a little fun... And so, she hid behind a tree as saiya came up to the gym and called out her name, and she waited a few seconds before running out form behind and shouting. "YYESSSSS THE MIGHTY POKE IS HHEERREE!!"
spike watched her preform this joke on her friend from inside the gym, peaking his head out and wondering wheather he should have done it as well.

"WAAAH!" Neko jumped and swung around looking at Poke, that was not the greeting she expected. "Heh, good thing I'm healthy or you'd be battling a corpse! Hiya Poke." Grinning she laughed.
Kane snorted and sat down, obviously not amused in the least. He wanted to battle and get it all over with, not smile and laugh and bounce around in merry fields like those two. Glancing around he noticed a large head looking out at them and smirked.
"So how are you?" Neko asked, happy to see her friend again after so long.

"aha, I'm going great, really great" she grinned a grin which looked like it was gonna cover her hole face, but then she stopped grinning and smilied nervously, remembering that she could catch up on chit chat after the matches. "so, umm I'll start ya off with Fish, for the first up battle" she made her way into the large gym which resembled more of a basketball room then a gym, excet with the white pokeball painted on the floor. She made her way to the other side and took out her pokeball, releasing the hyperactive Zigzagoon.
"stay....stayyy" she told fish, more like she was telling a dog. Though luckily he kept still. "ok...you can start off..."
spike looked down at the umbreon and realised, witha sudden lurch, he would be fighting a pokemon that was truely dark. At first she thought of yasha and the stories ran told him, but then noticed this one wa s aguy. Mabye he wont be as tough? yeah, fat chance..
he sat on the other side of the file and kept well out of the way for the moment, his turn would come shorty...

"Oh right..heh yeah we should get down to business eh? C'mon Kane." Walking in behind Poke she watched as a very jittery looking Zigzagoon came out and looked like it was just about controlling itself. 'Interesting' she thought to herself, and smiled "Well then I guess Talon is up!" Chucking out her own ball into the arena she watched as the Pidgey flew from the ball and called out, flapping her wings and staring down at her opponent.
"Ok Talon, are ya ready?" The Bird just seemed to grin, never taking her trained birdy eyes off the other Pokemon for a second. "I'm as ready as a 747 for take off!" Neko laughed at her, she was sure something.
Kane lay himself down and watched them all make jokes and be all excited, keh...yeah well he was gonna show them, and that puppy too. His last battle had been with that annoying Sumi-something or other, stupid hyperactive kit thought that he was just some other Pokemon...well he proved him wrong, didn't he? Kane still remembered the weaklings shaking form as he slammed into him again and again. Yes, he would prove that he wouldn't be beaten, and his trainer was the perfect person to travel with to show his power.

"awwww, omg a pidgey!! lookie it's so cuttee! " poke watched it hover in mid air and was thinking saiya might make the move, but when she didn't poke decided she may as wekk get things going.
"ok, fish...use covet!"
it was proably one of the weirdest pokemon moses that could be used by poke, and fish knowing how poke usualy fought a battle wondered if she was in her right frame of mind. especaily if this move was only worthwhile if the other pokemon had an item...and he wanted to run around, really badly!
fish sat up on his haunches, his front paws in the air, looking up at the pidgey with cute, irrisitable puppy eyes, looking as innocent as the day as he was born.

"Use your Featherdance!" Neko commanded, knowing that really who could resist such a look? Good thing Talon had no items.
The Pidgey shuffled her body and almost looked like she was dancing, and feathers were appearing from nowhere all white and pretty. They swirled around for a bit and then seemed to flutter down upon Fish, hoping to reduce his attack.
Waiting, Talon hoped this would work, she hated being on the defensive and usually liked to shake things up with a good Gust and some well timed moves, alas her trainer had spoken and calmly she hovered there.

all the little feathers had fluttered down around fish, making him sneeze and rub his face a bit. Seemed liked it did the trick.
"now lets see...Retaliate with tail whip....hmmm yeah" poke seemed to be thinking this one out, tail fluffed up and curled in thought.
it seemed...a little more like normal...ok no it wasn't. fish turned his back to the pidge and wondered why he had to shake his behind, he felt quite vunerable in this poisition.. he began to shake his tail in hopes of lowing his opponents defence

"Alright then I guess if he's gonna wiggle his bottom we'll start things off with target practice..use Quick Attack on that bootey!!" Neko said, amused and also a little worried at the defence they just lost.
Talon flapped those powerful wings of hers and aimed right for his shaking rump, using the speed and agility of her attack. The beak was in position, and her eyes didn't move from the spot until she was close enough to smell him, if birds used smell...that was.
Watching she looked over at Poke for a second, happy to be battling with her again, she still remembered their fist Pokemon battle and she was interested in seeing where this one would end up.

"now whip around and use a pin missile there before that birdy gets to close! FIRE IN THE HO!!" being a bit over enthustastic she started jumping up and down on the spot...
wwhhhaaOMGSHITHTATBIRDSGONNAATTACKMEEE!. Fish had bearly any time to turn around and attempt to attack the bird, he was already on him! his fur fuzzed up and began to shoot small white needles at the pidgey and hoped to stop it in his attack
when poke decided to stop jumping up and down, she noticed saiya looking at her and, grinning she gave her the peace sign. She wondered how saiya would react to this one..
((right, instead of guessing how many times fish attacks...l'm using randomiser! haha much safer XD))

Talon avoided a couple of them by darting to the side, but she was caught twice and they stung just a little against her skin beneath feathers. But she continued on in her direction towards Fish and the attack never stopping, afterwards lifting back into the air to stare down at the Zigzagoon.
Neko laughed at Poke and turned back to the battle, shaking her head in thought, wondering what was next. A small voice also asked how long this Pokemon was going to stay calm in battle, because to her it seemed he wanted nothing more than to streak across the arena and shout at the top of his lungs.
Which attack to use next was the question really...now that they had things going.

well at least he got hurt a little? poor fish was hit right bang on the head with the peck atatck and sent backwards from the momentum of the attack. All it took was a few seconds to sit on the floor and rubb his head, before he was off. Stuff this he wanted to run and he wanted to run now!
"umm...yeah..." poke stood there with a sweatdrop on her forhead. She couldn't say he wasn't well behaved at first. "try and use...a sand attack while you run around there.."
and while the pokemon seemed to be going nuts, he turned around and did a large skidding jump, kicking up some sand directed in the general direction his opponent was and started to run around again. Whhheeeeee!
