"I thought you might," she said with a sly smile, she gave a nod, the price would come latter, she was sure, Marcia eyed risk at her own reaction, for a moment she knew him too, then again who didn't Ander, his titles were infamous, if one didn't know him personally.

“You don’t have to glare, don't suppose you'd mind sharing, I'll buy you a drink.” Marica said to Risk, maybe she’d loosen up a little. Yes Marcia teased, but she knew well enough Risk was just doing her job, though it worried Marcia Regent seemed worried more for his safety now than when she had met him before, it crossed her mind something might have happened, perhaps it was the reason for their meeting outside the imperial boarder the time when Ander vanished. “I can’t se a better guard

“So how much is the information going to cost, nothing’s ever free,” she inquired with a slight smile before asking to hear anymore.

Regent couldn't help but let his lips part in a smile as he watched Risk twitch slightly.

"Don't I always?"
The Male spoke in a hum, before his sharp gaze seemed to soften as Risk gave his hand a little nuzzle.

"Awe now, that is a look of endearment."
Regent spoke to the bandit as spoke to Risk. Shifting his hand on her shoulder, he rubbed it affectionately and the bit of her neck with his single hand before he moved to the chair beside the Islander, and next to Marcia.

"And yes, she is quite skilled in all forms of hand to hand and all sorts of violent engagements..."
The monger spoke of bodyguard giving the islander a little wink, as she huffily folded her arms. He implied more...

His free hand shifter to his bag at his side, just past the duster he wore. Leaning his elbow on the table, his hand pulled out a single white familiar die. He show it to Marcia as it balanced between his left ring finger and middle finger. Closing his hand he reviled a second black one between his pointer and middle.

"The first roll is of normal cost. 20 Zi sound fair? Hmmm?"
Regant parted his trickster lips.

This is how he sold his information, like how he sold anything-it was a game. Information in a way was given for free....how much was dedicated by the Die, and it cost to roll.

"The second roll, and cost is dictated by this 6 spot black die the number it lands on determines the multiple of what you pay. Though you can make the choice to play for it, that is-if you still want the information. "

"How much information you get is chosen by the white die."
The barter explained and gave a smile to the woman beside him.

"So you still feeling lucky rogue?"
Regent grinned with curious gold eyes as he looked to Marcia.

"Hmm, a shame." Blitz answered, as he moved his hand to adjust the books on his table. Looking them over slightly he made sure that nothing had happened to them-or they were and more damaged then they were. Books, like the ones he had were rather difficult to come across in this age anymore.

"A true spoken statement."
Masters answered to Talon. "Though..." He mused. "I suppose it depends on what side of tale you are on..." Mischief spoke vaguely. after all, many fearful great things had been discovered for the sake of 'curiosity'; it's whiles, whims and dangers.

Seeing the playful Spider, Blitz tilted his head to spy more of the creature as he scuttled closer. Masters' custom crystal glass in it's sights. A chuckle left the male as the spider puffed, then quickly retreated to the the sound the Crystal rang out. It was rather quite clear and beautiful. A pleasant chirp to the ears.

"You have quite the friend, yourself..." Blitz trailed off as he relized that he did not know the man's name that committed to joining them at his table. His hand raised and the gestured to the other.

"I am sorry, in the lost of the stench and curious meeting. The other escaped with out a name, and I do not know yours." The Soldier spoke, with another nod. "I don't." He answered with a relaxed wag of his head, as Talon asked if he mind the lad staying. he was welcomed to

Ah chardonnay, always did well to relax the usually disgruntled poet. Though after all work had been better, he sat with a friend, a chance to enjoy his more favored wines and works...

it had been a good day...

Looking to Kreig, Blitz gaze a smile his hand raised to his chin, where he pulled the dark strands. In eye slipped down as his twisted a few of the strands together.

"that is a brilliant Idea, Krieg."
the one eye man, looked up from his chin scuff.

"And you don't have to appoligize, friend. I know you have a rhyme and reason." Blitz defend and reach out his hand to the raptor, and danced his fingers on his maw. With a tap he raised his hand and pointed it.

"As do all Gentlemen!"
He exclaimed with bistro' in his voice.

Perhaps someone, was a bit buzzed off their drink of whine....

Risk lost all tenseness as Regent begun to massage her shoulder and neck. Her arms unfolded a bit as he released a soft hum, almost equivalent to a mechanical cat's purr. Her head rolled back slightly than forward so more of her neck would be exposed to the touch. However, the moment was promptly lost as his hand was removed. Her lips thinned as her arms returned to their folded position across her chest.

"I dun like sharein'... 'specially what rightfully belongs to meh, and meh wurk child.." She coolly spoke before letting the corner of her mouth arch upward in an almost sinister grin. "Ova my dead bode'h I be lettin' ano'dah take part of what be 'wholl'eh mine. An I won't be keelin ova so soon. I preffer deh killin'."

A fair and indirect warning should Marcia think it be funny to pester further. No, she didn't expect Marcia to do anything so rash, but it was always good to be prepared. When Regent begun to speak of his deal with Marcia Risk closed his mouth, the dark grin faded with her words. Her employer was working and she would let him do so, however she still kept a hawk-eyed attention on the bar as if expecting the lot of them to turn at any moment.

Kerig tilted his head to Blitz as he begun to speak in a more bold fashion. Ah, he had been so distracted by the smelly one he had forgotten to count his sips. Or, at least he had forgotten to pat attention to how much? Perhaps not. He had a good sense about him, but the organoid could hardly blame him. That last human seemed an unpleasant company. Very very... He ceased the thought before he dwell on it too much. At least he had the decency to exit.

Carefully Kreig raised his head and begun to work his way around the table without knocking anything over with his tail or large claws.

"Oh, there is both. But the cards, I will go get those for you two..." he hummed, gave Risk a glance than turned attention toward the back door. It would be easy to access the ZOID from that access.

"Fair enough," Marcia said to risk not pushing any further, though her comment brought a smile to her face, marcia wondered when her sense of humor became so twisted, maybe that was back with the zombies... she wasn't sure

"Always, wonder how much it costs you to come across such rare information." she smirked back.

Whether or not what he was implying was the truth Marcia kept silent about it this time, she was sure the woman was skilled in all types of hand combat, she doubted Regent picked her as a bodyguard simply based on her charming looks. Though as far as intimidation went, had Marcia met her before the great terror, she would have ranked right up there with the best of them,

Marcia's attention was on Regent listening to his explanation, and gave a nod "In other words, it gets real expensive real quick if you have luck like mine," she slid Regent 20zi she suddenly found herself reminiscing about the last time, she ended up buying Regent and Ander's drinks.

"You remember the last time we played this game," she laughed quietly in spite of herself.

Eyes. He felt a heavy pair of eyes on him. Not possibly unfriendly, just openly hostile and no nonsense. It was that twitch on the back of his neck that reminded him of reasonable danger nearby. It urged his moves to be cautious. Thankfully, it was no where near where he was sitting right now. It would be dealt with when the time came, and not a moment before. He liked things that didn't attack without fair warning.

Tacker was still fascinated by this other glass that it stared at it and then moved its optic eyes to stare at the attached fleshling. In an unblinking stare, the highly advanced processors stored away information as Tacker instinctively cleaned its front mandibles. This one seemed a bit darker than its current master. Had the same haze about him too. ( Was it a He? Humans all looked alike.) He glanced at the raptor organoid and noticed something odd about it as well. This was filed away, but probably wouldn't be shared. Tacker was, after all, a gift for the Imperial General and it knew it.

Talon had to admit it, he liked this guy. Why did he end up meeting really awesome Republic Soliders that made him question this feud between the nations? It must be fate that was weaving itself in a way. Probably doing that whole Lassie thing with Timmy stuck in a well and no one would listen to a stupid dog. Except the poor guy that could understand dog. He didn't sign up for this. "Yes. I seem to collect them against my better wishes. Don't wield big sticks around this guy. He'll try to attack it. " His gaze drifted to the small spider that was slowly crawling back over to now investigate this bottle thing. Silently, Talon wanted Tacker to knock it over just for the panic it would instill, but wine bottle were sturdy and the spider really was harmless--thank the gods.

His gaze turned from the spider to the really vague question and apology, his mouth twitched in a slight smile, " Ah, I'm sorry. You can call me Talon. " Talon didn't expect to learn the other's name, as was the right of those that had the table before him. He was, after all, a guest at the strange solider's table in neutral territory with rogues and very irritable barmen. A nod was given to the extremely polite organoid that was quite nimble on its feet, Talon noted.

The sudden vocal raise made Talon raise an eyebrow quesioningly, and take a pointed sip of his water. Tacker, on the other hand, just kinda blinked and skittered aorund the table, lifting up coasters and getting closer to these book things. What were they, it wandered. It was then that Talon reached out and pulled the spider back to him. " Indeed, but inside voices are quite nice too. Four walls echo more than I care to like. "

A golden eye slipped to the corner of Regent's gaze as he looked to Risk and her enjoyment of the little massage.

His smile grew to the amusement of the Islander's words, before his hand right hand moved to one of the bleached braids of the darker woman. Touching the strand he looked at it as he played with it between his fingers, momentarily as Marcia spoke.

"Now, It wouldn't be much of a 'trick-of-the-trade' if everybody knew."
Regent answered as he let his left hand lower to the Zi that was passed to him. His teeth parted in a grin to her words as Marcia caught on to gamble of the game.

"Luck be a fine lady, but the dealer is a cold man..." Regent spoke as he took the money inside his duster with the single hand, before he returned it to the table to relinquish the white die for Marcia to toss.

"I do.." The Male smiled with a nod, before he let the right hand that had toyed with one of the meany braids of Risk's, rest along the back of the intimating woman's chair. Leaning back in his own, he sat closely to her as his gold eyes looked to Marcia and what she might have for luck and a roll.

Letting His hand rest back on the table, Blitz turned his head to give the intriguing spider another single eye look as it stared at him back.

"Hmpth..." Left the male with a upward nod of his head, before his head turned to look back to Talon.

"Thank you, Kreig..." The soldier nodded to his Partner as he moved to get the card. He was such a great friend, especially the timely was implacable. And he was lucky to have such a partner, with him and Squall. Chase had left him quite the legacy.

"I will keep that in mind, and count yourself blessed to have such a friend."
Blitz then spoke once more to Talon, moving his hand to rest on top of his books, casually he pulled them closer to him-even as the spider was wrangled in. Call it habit. And he didn't mind the creature, infact-he was comfortable by it. Any friend that, Blitz ever had aside from Chase dawned the skin of metal.

Just the book where a bit....Precious.

"Well met, I am Masters." The Republic soldier spoke and tilted his head just a little as his fingers found themselves once more at his chin and goatee. "Tell-me, you have heard of me."

Chuckling, Blitz brought his voice back down to a more somber once. "So be it...." The man spoke before moving his hand back to the bottle and he tipped it to his glass. gently pouring the liquid.

"...but it is a bar." He added, and would raise his voice again-if he so liked.

Though being rather pleasant and relaxed.

He was still a a**....

"And, friend. Repectfully-
" Blitz spoke calmly, and in a friendly tone-he wasn't going to be quieted if he didn't want to be. He had enough for orders in one day...especially with his 'reinstated' promotion, he actually had been trying to be 'good'.
The General seemed to believe in him enough.

His head turned to look back at Talon as he set the bottle down, and he gaze a smile.

"I will do as I like."

Smart woman... Risk thought as Marcia opted not to test the waters any further with this one. When it came to Regent, she would take no settlements. It was a disgrace where she came from to fail a contract and she did not intend to break this 'promise' to protect this man.

Her golden glance shifted to the man as he begun to play with one of her many braids as he would have his own face braid. The cold expression upon her features melted a bit at the gesture. One of her hidden 'likes' was to have her hair played with, rather, was a hidden like as she so openly showed with the smile that had formed upon her dark lips.

Eyes looked away from him a moment as she caught sight of the Organoid leaving the bar via the same exit Rhett had. Her brow quirked a moment before it settled and her gaze returned to the happening at the table.

"Luck beh a fine finickeh ladeh..." she mused a moment as she watched the dice be passed to Marcia. That grin of hers replaced the smile. "Perhaps I caan blow on dem for you? W'ere I come from dat is good luck."

Kreig waited no time as he carefully made his way to the door. His head bobbled just sightly as he walked toward the exit, eyes shifting constantly back to Blitz and Talon until he made it to the door.

With his nose he slowly opened the door as if expecting to be jumped. As silly as the notion was he was still slightly unsettled for some reason. Perhaps it was just that smelly man. His presence was a bit threatening, as if he would have knifed Blitz in the guy. His feathers lowered at the thought. Well, he vanished back this way, but hopefully had left.

Kreig gave the outside surroundings a few look overs before he passed the threshold of the door.

Barely did Talon notice the possessive gesture around the books. Things like that were old and should be treasured, and he probably would have asked had he known Blitz better to at least look at them. Old stuff was something Talon loved...and the whole reason he was trapped in this mess in the first place. Was 'trapped' the right word? He didn't know exactly why he had the feeling he didn't exactly want to leave the current situation he got himself into--the General got himself into actually.

Odd thoughts aside, and a spider again pinned under hand, he took another sip of his water to clear the scratchy grains that were forming in his throat. Talon couldn't help but chuckle softly at a statement that meant well. Clearly the man had never been bowled over by a small dinosaur or had their keys stolen from a pick-pocketing cuttlefish. " Blessings are always mixed, but thank you. "

Politely, the Imperial solider bobbed his head at the introduction. The continuation of the sentence had Talon thinking carefully. Had he? "Maybe I have, but I don't come across too many friendly Republic solider's. Then again, your name is familiar. I may have heard of you in passing. " Silently he prayed this other never heard of him, but then he didn't know whom this man talked to. While it was nice to be known by the enemy in peaceful times, but these times were suddenly becoming far more chaotic than he would like.

The small spider drummed its feet on the counter, and Talon let the bug up for a bit. He felt a corner of his face twitch upwards in a smirk. It was a bar, indeed. It was downright expected that some folks are loud and obnoxious. "I frankly could care less what you do, friend. But four walls echo a bit more than I would like, and that lovely barbarian yonder has kept me on edge this entire time. " He trailed off as he thought, a hand moving to scratch at the stubble on his chin he had no time to shave off.

"Do you know an 'Angelina Solaris'? " he asked, seemingly out of nowhere. It had been bothering him that he hadn't heard anything from her since the horrible accident. Maybe this person could ease his fears that the worse had happened...or open up an entirely different bag of doom.

She left it at that, it wasn't her place to pry any further, nor could she certainly say she was surprised though the following display rather amused at the display as regent played with Risks hair, and the islander woman seemed to enjoy it, though she made no hint of knowing she had been paying enough attention to it.

"Fickle and fine, with a cold dealer that completes her, that is certainly the lady luck," Marcia said taking the relinquished die, her brow raised as risk spoke. couldn't argue with that, if it was luck she offered the woman would take it, all things considered. The leaving organoid caught her

What more had she to loose, aside from money, didn't seem as important important anymore, "I need all the luck I can get," she grinned offering the dice for risk to blow on, "Some of your islander luck would be greatly appreciated." she waited till the act was done then tossed the dice along the table.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 21, 2012 10:42 pm

Regent pulled his golden eyes from the Islander as he watched her icy complexion warm into a more content and happy one. Chuckling softly to himself he let the plam hand let it's felt rest on Risk's shoulder, his finger tips still softly playing with the braid of hair. His gaze moved over to Marcia, it was good of her to let Risk blow on the dice, in doing so some luck couldn't help but be struck (+2 to the roll. -Islander luck-)

As the die was cast and dropped on the table, Regent pulled his sight form his island paradise to the white item that tumble and roll.

His glasses reflected what dim light was in the bar as he looked at Marcia.

"Well, lookie there." The Barter spoke, "A nice, High fifteen..."

"I think your luck is turning around...*ahem* Marcia." Regent spoke, almost adding the word 'my dear', or something else of the like, but it caught and remained from his lips as his orange gaze looked to Risk-being reminded of the 'playful' bite he was given. Which was well, deserved after all..

"lady luck, must have a thing for the ladies tonight..." He added, the comment would safice, as he looked to the other woman at the table.

Risk gave Maricia a different kind of grin as the dice were offered to her for a blessing of luck. It was more of a 'good choice' kind of grin than a sinister one. "She wuldn't be much of a ladeh witout him der... two as one, as it should." She spoke before giving the dice a gentle blow.

Risk than leaned back in her chair to watch the dice roll just five away from the best luck anyone could achieve. Not bad.

As Regent moved his hand back to her shoulder Risk leaned her lips against them once again, this time giving the hand a tender kiss. Golden eyes looked upon him for a moment, as if to warn him of what he almost had said. She wasn't afraid to bite him again.

Attention shifted back to Maricia to see how she would react to such a roll, and curious of what questions she might ask of. A curious thing when one was searching for one so notorious.
