The mix of personalities currently in a relatively small space together bordered on explosive. That was just risky with the phoenix looping overhead, attacking here and there at its whim.
Jordan brought Ferros up again as the thing dived at him; the hammer smashed through the thing's shoulder, and then Cass was fending the phoenix off again, looking grim and disappointed. The phoenix was flickering now, looking decidedly thinner. Ferros seethed with restrained rage. Let me flame.

Aleister watched all the drama unfold. Rubbing his head, why did they always end up in a fight. He pulled out a pack of poptarts and shoved them to Rep. "Here have a poptart." He then moved back and quickly was watching the phoenix again.
It looked like they had this one. He pondered, watching the bird, "Anyone else want a poptart?" He was sorta hoping a break in between birds if there more of them.

Harrison went over to where Aleister and Rep were camped.
"You got blueberry?" he asked, repossessing Rep's arm for another bandaid. "Sorry Marcus was such an a*****e," he mumbled, pressing it above the other one. Marcus stepping aside at the last moment deeply disturbed him. Especially since Rep was looking kinda rough around the edges. Which meant his shield had been low.
Harrison tried not to think about it too hard, because it was making him angry.

"Yes I have blueberry" Aleister had opened a pack of poptarts with Sprinkles which happened to be blueberry and shoved one in Harrison's hand while he took the other, "Thought you might want---" he was stopped by another phoenix. The blonde death hunter was staring at it. "...one..... before we had to fight another one.... NO it can't have one."
He was holding his poptart in his mouth as he ran after the phoenix with the blitzball. "I have more just thought it'd be easier to split the pack." He added as he returned.

Aleister looked at Harrison, "I can't just let it steal the poptarts." Al said as he looked towards the other hunter. He paused for a second long enough to swallow a bite of poptart before going again.
"Besides I'm not that beat up...." He was actually sorta useful for a change so it was nice to not really have to worry about running from things.

Rep stayed put in his hiding place, tolerating the bandaid gratefully. "Marcus is a p***k." No matter how many times he told people they didn't believe him. The guy permanently took snipes at Rep's confidence and he wasn't even sure if he was aware he was doing it.
Having finished off his own poptart, he eyed Harrison's sadly. Anyone else's he'd have eaten in a heartbeat. Instead, he just held onto it patiently. The things he did.

He laughed at the protest.
"Yeah, yeah. Any beat up means I'm slacking." In a lower voice he added, "Thanks for sharing your poptarts and s**t."

Aleister looked towards harrison, "We don't know if the bird raided those and is after mine though." He shrugged a little bit.
Pausing for a second, "You were healing someone, you're not slacking." Aleister added, "Besides I could probably run away from it just as fast." He was trying to make a bit of a joke but it was probably more true than he should admit.
He shrugged, "It's what they make two packs for." He went for the phoenix again.

Cass took a moment to step back from the new Phoenix to shake out her arm and get a juice box, taking her moment of sipping it in silence while she stood next to Rep. She didn't say anything while she was there, however, just lightly elbowing the ginger in the side before she sighed.
"Well, back to work with me. Hope you start feeling better, Rep. You're good to have around." she smiled, setting the empty juice box off to one side before she threw herself back into the little fight going on.
If Jordan was still going, so was she. Damn birds. Once everybody wasn't living in the same open space without lockable doors with each other, they'd be able to start functioning better. Because as much as she loved everybody, it was starting to be a small strain.

He was feeling distinctly useless sitting off to the side again, guarding nothing but a poptart he couldn't eat.
Cass was a welcome distraction as she wandered over, getting a very fleeting and genuine smile from him as she spoke.
He didn't say anything till after she was gone back into the fray.
"Thanks." he quietly stated to no one at all.
That girl deserved a lot more than she had.
