Uaithne had to pause at the bottom of the stairs upon reaching them to take in a breath, steadying himself and his nerves, before he started up them. He could feel Kalypso holding onto him and as such he knew he couldn't slow down for long, wanting to help her to get to safety along with the others that were moving out of the basement with him. The trip up the stairs was an interesting ordeal, made more so when the world went from shaking enough to toss about a bit of debris to what he felt it must be like to be caught up in an earthquake. He was tossed from side to side, something that had him hissing a couple times when his already injured arm collided with the walls he was tossed into. After a time though he was sent stumbling out of the door at the stop of the steps and into the corridor that they had walked through, "Hmm... halfway there." He murmured, mostly to himself, wanting to keep himself motivated to keep going when a growing part of him wanted to just sit down and get a breather. Something he knew full well was a terrible idea.
As he stood at the top of the stairs he could feel a tingling filling him, something he realized was his magic returning to him. He knew that it wasn't the most powerful of magic, not by far, but having it back was quite welcome for sure. Having been cut off from him had left him feeling a bit empty inside, never a good feeling for a Majin to have, not at all. The moment of rest he allowed himself was ended when he heard the carrying voice of the woman they had met a short time ago, Runa... and after her he turned to look over at Cedar who was declaring Runa 'the worst' and he found himself agreeing wholeheartedly. He wasn't really the sort to think poorly of any woman, they were the ones that men were supposed to respect and protect according to his Grannie but this one... he didn't feel the former toward her and wouldn't consider the latter if by some twist of fate he was put in such a position. Not that he thought such a thing would happen in his lifetime.
Cedar looked on the weak side, didn't she? Her strength likely seeping away through the wounds that creature downstairs had caused her. He gritted his teeth, trying to life his other arm up to aid her, but it wasn't obeying him. If anything attempting to move it only made the injuries protest that much more, "Damn..." That wasn't going to work, was it? What he'd do for a mass healing spell he thought to himself, before thinking of the various medicinal plants he had back home. How he missed home. How he missed his plants, and it really hadn't been all that long since he'd last seen them. Giving a shake of his head he started to look from side to side, looking for an exit. He wanted out, badly, wanted to be far from this hell hole and back home where he could hide away from the world for a while so he could recover from everything that had happened be it the physical wounds or the mental ones. All he knew was that he was terribly exhausted and left with so much to think about after this entire ordeal, one that wasn't over yet.
He took a few steps forward, releasing his hold on Kalypso he lifted his good hand up to touch them against the rocks that seemed to cut them off from the outside, pushing against them for a moment as hard as he could, but it seemed that they weren't going anywhere, were they? It was then that he heard Cedar calling out to him, telling him to make sure her body was undisturbed before she seemed go limp against the wall, looking as though she'd fallen unconscious. His eyes went a little wide, flicking from side to side, before giving a nod, "Alright." He would do his best to keep her safe he thought to himself, moving to put himself between her and the dark opening of the stairs that seemed to grow darker and more intimidating now that he was protecting Cedar from the monster that was down there. Swallowing hard he shifted himself, hoping to be ready this time, "Stand behind me, Kalypso. I will keep you both safe." Or at least he would give his all trying to do just that.

Kalypso kept holding on to Uaithine's hand as they made their way out of the basement. She felt safe with him. The whole time she was trying to think of a way to help out too. She wasn't kidding about not wanting to be a wimp in front of everyone. She couldn't use her magic even through she felt it was slowly coming back to her. She needed her flute andnd it was back at the dorm. She could use her voice but that type of magic wasn't so strong.
She hoped she wasn't being a bother to Uaithine. She sighed to herself. He probably thought she was weak. She looked behind her at Cedar and grasped. Cedar was bleeding. When did that happened? What kind of friend would just walk around when their friend was hurt? If she had her full magic she could have healed it for Cedar. Doing the only thing she could think of to help she teared off piece of her top to go and wrap around Cedar's wound. "I'm sorry Cedar."
Kalpyso looked over at Uaithine when he told her to stay behind her. "I will." She will stay close behind him and help Cedar out in anyway that she needed.

Cassiel stared at the other through broken glass one moment before his vision blurred. A faint blush came upon his cheeks as Monet took it upon himself to remove the broken glasses. He didn't even know what to say! So he simply stood there in silence while squinting at the mononoke. When the new glasses were placed upon his face, he blinked a few times then nodded his approval. "Yes, these will do just fine." He said lightly as he reached up to adjust them slightly. Although the prescription was weaker, he could at least see, for the most part.
"Shall we g-" His words cut off as the ground once again began to shake. What now?! They just managed to survive the ceiling caving in. Suddenly they were rushed upwards and Cassiel was glad the man with him grabbed his arm, holding onto Monet as well. But his free arm shot upward as he muttered a spell, "Fea tinechor ram!" Above them a small yet powerful bubble appeared, protecting them from the small debris. It gave Monet a chance to relax as they continued to thrust upward.
When the ground came to a stop, he took a moment to catch his balance before he released Monet. Now where were they? He casually dusted himself off as his eyes scanned the area around them. It wasn't long before his eyes fixed on Runa who seemed to be a rather pissed off woman. He could barely make out what she said from where they stood, but he caught the words witch eater and spiritus. His eyes quickly began to scan those around them, keeping close to Monet. "We should try to slip away..." he started to say to Monet, "If she has the power to shake the castle I do not want to battle her. We can still find the children and get to safety." Again he took Monet's arm in his hand, as he stared at the woman. He was scared. There was no hiding it in those golden eyes of his. He wanted nothing more than to run away from this great power... the children was a good excuse to do just that.

His grip tightened on the small form in his arms. How strange, he had to wonder, that Miusa could appear so small and delicate when he knew she was feisty and powerful. The blonde's mind just couldn't wrap around the concept. Except to pin the blame on a single cause.
Runa.
"Temper, temper~" The witch eater - no, the Spiritus - taunted. His mismatched gaze was slightly crazed, no longer the playful man he appeared to be most of the time. There seemed to be something...darker about him. Not noticeable, but a sensation hanging around him. "You really shouldn't call your guests such vile names, darling." He hissed out, wings flaring to protect Miusa.
And then the ground was moving beneath his feet. Roiling like the anger simmering off of Runa. Damnit! He used his wings to keep balance, mood souring even further. She would pay. For what she had done to Miusa.
The Spiritus laughed darkly. "That's right. Point your nicely manicured nails at someone else. Put the blame on them, diverting the fact that it was you who gave them reason to be here in the first place." Another peal of laughter. "Tell me, love. What ever did you do to those children, hmmm?"
Mismatched eyes flickered hungrily towards the knight that approached him. They flashed dangerously as that unnerving sensation increased. But then the Spiritus paused, considering the man. He looked down to the bundle in his arms, then up again. With a surprisingly light step, Remiel stepped up to Kailash.
"I place her in your care, Knight. I best not find out that was a foolish decision." Threat made, he placed Miusa in the Cerb's arms and launched into the air, drawing Runa's attention to himself and away from Miusa.
"Really, darling. That just isn't a good look for you. It makes you look old and cranky."
--------------
She heard someone shout, ears swiveling towards the voice. It was familiar. One she had heard before. Pausing for a brief second, Shaden glanced over her shoulder and spotted Theron. The Blackheart she'd met once before. "I am. Not that I don't trust in Sibelius's abilities or anything, but there are too many captives and only one of him!" And she did not, in any way, like what was happening here. Not just because Athir was trapped down there.
Theron's words took a moment longer to actually register in her brain. Blinking, the Reaper snarled out a curse of frustration, striking a pillar chunk close by. "Damnit!" He was right. Damn it all to hell!
Please. Please be alright, Athir. I WILL find you.
"You're right. Let us make sure they have a path to escape through then, shall we?" Shaden grinned a toothy, fang filled grin. It wasn't a nice one, but was directed towards everything going on. Not at Theron himself. Not wasting any more time, Shaden twisted around and used her scythe like a club to clear a space around them.
And then the floor was splitting open beneath them and she suddenly felt weightless. Shaden gasped and her eyes widened in shock before turning into a hiss of anger. Could this honestly get any worse?! Yes. Yes it could. Like, for instance, if she was dropped from this height? She really didn't have any desire to put that old theory to the test. The one where cats always land on their feet.
Frantic, she twisted and attempted to grab a hold of anything she could. Except it was all rising in the air as well. "s**t! What is this?!" She growled, fear starting to win over before she spotted quite a unique sight. Was that...Cruor? "C-Cruor!"

Just as he was about to ascend the ladder with Aero the ground decided it had other plans. It reached up to greet him hungirly, pushing his body against itself, lapping at his tender skin, cutting and slicing into the flesh. He growled from the pain. He felt the coolness of fresh air and the sounds of those above.
What? Where? How? He tried to move his leg, but it burned in pain and he howled in agony. 's**t...I can't get free!' He began pushing off the broken earth, looking up at the scene playing out before him. Someone was pissed...
He saw the group he'd departed from, fighting and confronting a strange woman who looked simply mad with rage. Blinking, he wasted no time in pushing his leg free, seeing a deep gash in his calf. At least the bone wasn't broken.
He looked around for Aero wondering where she'd gone off to. 'Well ********. Guess I'm on my own for now...' He took a tentative step, wincing as the pain surged like white lightning, ice cold yet terribly hot. He bit his lip to keep from groaning. After a few more steps, he began backing away from the scene, seeing the leviathan ars lilium and Cassiel. He hobbled over to them.
Kian was good at smooth talking, but defending himself, he was s**t...and he needed protection at the moment. He greeted them with a half smile, etched deeply with pain. "I have to get in there and find Ath- I mean...I have to find someone. But strength and numbers I'm both lacking. Care to try again?" he asked the pair of them.

It had all happened so fast: the corrupted witch, Runa’s monster, being revealed, the bars to their prison being ripped opened, the commotion upstairs as the inevitable rescue party arrived…it all seemed to happen in a blur, like she was flipping through a picture book too fast. And all the sounds…they were so dull, like it was happening all underwater. Was this…shock? As she tried to move, tried to speak, her body seemed sluggish and unresponsive. “Yep. Shock. Great.” Chanda stumbled back, using the wall to keep herself propped up has her head swooned violently. The tiger mononoke growled in annoyance at her weakness. All of these other witchlings and witches were still standing, why was she the only one barely able to stay standing?
Being in shock reared its ugly head again as the monster broke free and all she could do was watch the event unfold like so many snapshots being thrown in front of her face. Thankfully someone had chosen to be the tail end of the escaping party and helped her move away from the thing threatening to literally devour their hearts. She would have to thank them later…if she could keep her wits about her enough to remember the thought.
Once Chanda was away from the magic sealing talismans, the tiger in her roared ferociously, victoriously, as she busted free from her invisible cage. Being in touch with her animal side did wonders for her condition, the shock faded and in its place it felt as though a burst of adrenaline was injected directly into her heart. She watched as Cedar dedicated her conscious self to moving the rubble and then looked back down the hallway to where the monster was. Did she help move the rubble to free their only path of escape or did she make sure the monster stayed at bay? The blackheart that had been charged with protecting them might have been powerful but he couldn’t be everywhere at once.
The tiger mononoke took Sibelius’ side, snarling a bit at the fact that her attacks weren’t going to be landing any satisfying blows on him. “I’m doing this for them,” she growled as her hands performed the necessary mudra to work an offensive buff onto herself. “I still think you and that monstrous lady are full of gandagī (s**t). About everything.”

Kailash didn't flinch or move away as the Spiritus looked at him, keeping his gaze calm and level. When the other man strode towards him he continued to watch him, keeping their gazes locked, not even glancing at the wings sprouting from his back. However when the other man spoke to him he relaxed and held his arms out to accept Miusa into his arms, giving a slow nod.
"I will protect her with my life. You have my word." Kailash answered, watching the Spiritus fly upwards, a brow lifting as he felt jealous of that ability for a moment... Just a moment.
Shaking his head he moved quickly but carefully, hoping not to hurt the woman in his arms as he moved away from the battle, closer to the treeline. That done he focused, drawing on his weak healing abilities to try and heal Miusa as best he can. After a moment he looked back to the fight and shook his head before glancing down at the woman in his arms.
"Are you alright, M'lady?" he questioned before smiling a little. "I wasn't aware that you had a Spiritus for a companion."

✥ Runa & Sibelius
"We can't stop," Sibelius growled. "Your intentions to heal her are good, kid, but what she needs is professional healing. Also, having this stairway collapse on her won't do her much good. Break through the rubble!"
He gave a nod and a shrug to Chanda as she reproached him. "You're young, of course you are supposed to think that." he muttered bitterly. There were smashes, booms and cracks as the rubble in front of them fell apart with their combined efforts. Finally, he was able to get these kids to some level of safety out of the crumbling cellar, only to have another one go unconscious on his watch. Sighing, he heaved Cedar up over one of his shoulders, awkwardly moving with both girls being carried.
"I hate kids. I hate kids. I hate kids. I hate kids." he repeated the mantra as they ascended, finally coming into the main chamber, where it was quite safe. Though he did indeed dislike the young, the man was a protector by nature. He'd have seen them to safety if it cost him his life. So far, it just cost him a bit of pride.
As they came into the doorway, he could see Runa, madly ranting at....a Spiritus. He let the girls down gently to the ground, glancing at the others before shaking his head. "I know you're tempted...but don't go out there right now. Seems your rescue team brought a few witch eaters with them, and well..." he scratched the back of his head. "To put it bluntly, Runa hates witch eaters. A lot. Looks like she whalloped even our own people because of it."
Runa grimaced, watching the filth that was Remiel handle Miusa, coveting her as if she belonged to him. The spiritus had even managed to manipulate Miusa into his clutches, and though she hated her, the sight of her being cradled by what she hated most in the world was enough to drive Runa over the edge and back.
Gritting her teeth, she drew her hand quickly in the air, slowing the descent of her subordinates and even the knights and saviors who went with them. It wasn't them she wanted to hurt, afterall....not them, nor the children she so deeply wanted to protect...even against their will. They must be protected from filth such as this, majin filth that transgresses into witch eater.
She cast a hollow glare at Kailash as he took Miusa from Remiel. "Why do you lay your trust in a Spiritus?" she hissed. "Especially one as bloodstained as that. Or a sage, for that matter, who has lied to you all from the beginning, and who transpires with Witch Eaters..."
"I will protect them. I will correct the mistake you and I brought upon this defenseless world, Miusa. I will save them by any means necessary from the monsters we allowed in this world, so very, very long ago. Even if I have to scar our beloved world, even if I have to kill you, and be called a murderer myself. Even if I have to do this task alone, I will make this world right again. I will protect it...from the likes of monsters you so amiably befriend!"
Runa made a gesture as if to raise her hand, something crackling at her fingertips, but her slender wrist was grabbed and held fast as Sibelius had finally appeared behind her, arms full of injured kids, looking worse for wear himself. "Runa..." he murmured, laying his eyes into hers seriously. He gave a shake of his head, and Runa relaxed, her hand dropping.
"This will be finished later." she turned her back on Remiel and everyone else. "Sibelius, tell them, with your keen senses, how many witch eaters they keep as company right now. How easy their trust is to manipulate." Before hearing the answer, she disappeared inside the castle, wakling past the captives as if they weren't there.
Sibelius sighed, looking onto the wreckage that was now their front lawn. "At least four." he stated coldly, heaving the injured girls up over his shoulders again as he approached where the knights and rescuers had fallen, after being plucked from the earth like worms. "You know..." he muttered as he let the girls lay on the grass. "All you had to do was knock." He cast a wary eye at Remiel, boldly hovering in the sky, and to the others he could smell multiple hearts inside. "This really goes against my grain to give these kids back knowing there are witch eaters among you. I'd offer my assistance to get you safely back to Lumena, but something tells me it will be rejected."
He took a step back, motioning to any remaining captives that they were free to do as they pleased. "Those two need a lot of medical attention, and quickly. Seriously, though. Knock next time."
Several reapers exited the castle, carrying medical kits in their arms which they laid near the knights and rescuers, before returning into the Castle. "These should help you stabilize any injuries for now, but it really is best if you go to a hospital for proper healing." one said, as she left.
Sibeilus made his way towards his fallen comrades, lightly kicking Cruor in the shoulder with the tip of his boot, and giving a hand to Shaden to help her up. "Stop faking, Cruor, you big fat baby." he growled. "Damn, I forget how ugly you are in that form. You're so fat, too."
He glanced toward Shaden, not really knowing what to say. The woman didn't trust him, he knew that much, but it was something he had to accept long ago in his position. "You hurt?" he asked.
✥ Miusa
For the first time in a long time, Miusa's eyes filled with genuine tears as she watched Runa, her face contorted in pain and grief. She barely noticed being handed over to Kailash, only really noticing when she attempted to burrow her face into what she thought would be a chest, and found hard metal. It seemed she couldn't hide her grief, or her shame, as Runa turned and left.
"I am what she says," she murmured. "This is my fault. I am to blame for..all of this.." Droplets of blood still trickled from her lips, her breath slow and haggard from her crushed ribs pressing against her lungs. "I loved her so, so much." she whimpered, reaching a hand vaguely towards the door where Runa vanished into. "Runa," she cried. "Runa, Runa, Runa, Runa!" her cries turned into sobbing hysterics, and she began to thrash in Kailash's arms, but only for a moment, before her severe injuries reminded her how severe they were, and she simply wilted against him.
"Don't hate me," she murmured, her voice growing quieter and weaker as her eyes became half-lidded. "Please don't hate me."

Uaithne watched quietly down the stairway into the darkness, waiting for something to come forth from it, something dangerous, and wanted to do all he could to keep her safe for the moment. There was the sound of foot fall coming up the stairs, something that caused him to go tense as he waited to see what it was... and then gave a little sigh of relief when he saw that it was the Blackheart, not that monster. At this point he really didn't know what to think of the heavily armored man, he knew he was more then a little intimidated by him for sure, but he couldn't hate him since he had helped them... it was hard to really get a bead on him or what he should think of him. Given that he was a dangerous man, something he'd proved many times over, as well as an enemy to the Majin, he really did need to be at least cautious around him, right? That was the best idea for the moment.
As the man came toward them a squeak escaped from his lips as the man scooped Cedar up and tossed the girl's limp form over his shoulder, "Ah! Wait! She isn't supposed... to be..." He wasn't listening though it would seem, already heading out chanting about how he hated kids. He looked at the back of Sibelus as he walked along, then to Cedar's face, and moved to hurry on after them, "Come on Kalypso, best we don't fall behind, that thing might still be down there." He didn't want to stick around to find out.
The group of them stopped suddenly at the doorway that would lead them from the inside of Poeva Privius and outside. It took everything in the green haired Majin to keep himself from crashing into the man before he heard his words, as the man said that the rescue team had brought a few witch eaters with them. Curious he peeked around the man and outside, wondering who among the group was a witch eater. There seemed to be a lot of people out there and he had no real way of picking them out himself, especially from this distance. He did realize though that he knew someone that was out there. It was that woman he met during the disastrous ball that he'd gone to some time ago. His eyes flickered around from person to person outside, trying to figure out the puzzle of who what was but gave up after a short time. He had no clue and had more important things to worry about, that being Cedar. She'd asked him to keep her from being moved and this Blackheart had just scooped her up and tromped off... he hoped that she was going to be alright. He would just have to keep an eye on her was all.
After a bit more chatter, none of it very flattering when it came to the Majin and Witch Eaters, they were moving again and the Blackheart was depositing Mia and Cedar onto the grass near to where the rescuers were. He was quick to move to Cedar's side, kneeling down next to her, and set to work looking her over, fretting all the while. Glancing at her, back where they came from, and then to Cedar again he couldn't help but to worry, "Come on, Cedar... you need to wake up." He murmured, they had finally gotten free of that place, he should be feeling relief at least... but that was the last thing he was feeling. Instead he was feeling worried over Cedar, guilty over allowing her to be moved though he couldn't have exactly stopped the guy, and on top of that he was hurting.
He heard mention from the Reapers that approached them with medical kits that they would stabilize injuries but that it was really best to go to a hospital for proper healing. Strange... so after all of that they were going to let them go? Before they even got the samples of blood that had seemed to be so important to them before the attack? It seemed a little strange to him but he had no time to worry about that. Instead what he had to worry about was getting Cedar somewhere safe, to a place that she could be healed and hopefully find someone that could wake her up. Thinking it hard he really couldn't recall offhand who might be the best to bring her to... perhaps someone in Lumena or around the Academy would know best how to fix her up? As far as healing magics went he didn't know a lot of it personally other then what he could do with his plants and even then he was still learning. As far as the medical kits went though he meant to avoid those personally, he didn't trust the people from this place near enough to accept such a thing. What if they turned out to be poisonous toward the Majin? He'd see about getting some healing for himself once they got somewhere safer and among people more trust worthy. Until the green eyed Witchling's main focus was on getting Cedar to someone that would know where how to fix her up and wake her up.

With the decline to his assistance, Athir watched worriedly as Sibelius continued to cradle the injured girl. Sure he wasn't the best healer, but something was better than nothing, right? Not going to argue with the man, the witch simply looked to the pile in question. He had little to no strength... probably only in his legs due to running. He was better at buffing and supporting! Regardless, the blockage was finally out of the way!
With the ushering from the reaper, Athir hustled with the rest of his fellow captives, finally escaping that dreadful area. It felt nice, to breathe fresher air, and to be in a not so cramped compartment. Gray eyes looked to a few of his fellow companion's, eyeing their current state. This was quite an escapade. He hung back at their guard's instruction, not at all wanting to chance any more unpleasant run-ins. Rubbing idly at his irritated wrists, he looked to the two confronting parties, and... was instantly able to see Kian. It was straight away that his eyes grew wide in shock. What was he doing here?! How had he gotten here?! Mouth opening in further surprise, he stepped towards the majin, not even waiting for Sibelius' ok to go forth. He moved quickly to the witch eater, brows drawing together as he saw the injury that had marred his friend, "Kian..." he murmured, quickly wrapping his arms around the other man to help be a support to his crippled state... and to comfort himself with the familiarity of known company, "What happened to you? Are you alright?" he asked softly, but worriedly, looking up to the icy blue eye for answer. He'd almost not noticed the other two men, a exorcism and Lilum Ars, glancing over to them with subtle shock as well to their presence. Where.. had all these people come from? Had they been kidnapped too?
Taking a further look around, he spied Shaden too, looking to her with uncertainty. Was he able to approach her yet..? or did they have to keep up their facade still? He certainly didn't want to put his greatest friend in danger... but he was also worried of her well-being too.
Looking at the event transpiring between the two quarreling women, Monet couldn't help his slightly snoopy nature. Looked like some drama up in here! Doing his best to resist the temptation to get up in the business that was going on over there, he instead focused on Cassiel who still seemed rather shaken up. Smiling sweetly, with that charm he held so easily, the leaviathan gently let his arm link around the exorcism's, to keep them close, his tail brushing along the back of the other man's legs, "Don't worry, we'll be alright. But yes, the children are our reason for being here~ And top priority!" keeping in light spirits, he was set to lead his newfound friend on into the castle again, until he heard the voice of Kian. Looking to the attractive fellow, eyeing him with a once over, his delicate brows creased in concern, "Oh dear, maybe you should sit down, honey~ You really don't look in the type of shape to be hobbling about like that." a hand was offered as a means of stability, but was clearly not needed once Athir had showed up. Rather taken-aback by the unknown boy's actions, he simply smiled, and looked between the majin and witch, raising a curious brow, "Seems you've got some help now, though." he chuckled in light amusement.

Cassiel felt the mononoke link their arms together, and it caused the man to glance at Monet questionably. Surely they didn't need to walk together with such an embrace. But before he could say anything, he felt something touch his leg and the poor exorcisma almost jumped from his skin! Gold eyes were wide as he peered behind him to see Monet's tail making itself acquainted with his leg. But before he could request its removal, he seemed to daze off for a moment. What was it like to have a tail so long? He had met other mononoke who had tails much shorter, or no tail at all. Surely this one got in the way during simple tasks? Or was it useful like certain primates? His train of thought was derailed, however, when Monet began to speak. This time it wasn't to him.
Cassiel turned his attention from Monet to Kian, taking note of his appearance and lack of companion. 'Where is the woman he was with?' He mentally asked himself, worried now that this man simply left her behind... And before he could offer his healing assistance, they were joined by a new face. A young witch that was relieved to see Kian, and Cassiel was just as relieved to see him. This meant that the children had escaped some how!
Now things were getting somewhere. The dark haired exorcisma watched as children began to run from Sibelius to freedom. They were safe! He seemed to relax at first, until he saw the tank of a man lower two girls to the ground. They both looked familiar... The girl with the name like a tree, what was it? And the other was the bobcat mononoke, Mia. "Oh no... Mia!" His eyes widened at her state. They had gotten her too? And what the hell happened to her!? Whatever hold Monet had on Cassiel was lost as the tall man darted forward, rushing to the girls. He slid to a stop as he went to his knees, looking from the girls and up to Sibelius. He said nothing to the man but the look on his face was pure disgust. None of this would have happened if they petitioned the kids on the street or passed out flyers instead of kidnapping them. There better not be a next time. He thought to himself as he looked Mia over, she was far worse for wears than Cedar was and took priority in his attention.
Although his healing magic was far from perfect, it would probably benefit the girl more than a bandage with gauze. "Forgive me, Mia." He muttered just before he ripped the fabric of her shirt open, exposing her chest and the wounds completely. He place his hands over the wounds to begin the slow process of healing. Whatever energy he had he would gladly give to save a life, specially for one so young and sweet as Mia. As the blood began to coagulate, he thought back to the day she gave him a personal tour around town and the school. She didn't deserve this sort of treatment! It almost brought him to tears.
He used far more energy than he wanted to, but every ounce was worth it if it stabilized the girl. When he was satisfied with the amount of healing done to Mia's wound, he quickly removed his cloak to wrap her in it, covering her from gawking eyes. A transport to the hospital would be much safer now that the blood had stopped flowing. Gently, as to not reopen the wound, he lifted the girl in his arms and stood. There was no way he could lift Cedar as well, and he looked to Uaithne for help. "Boy, which way is the nearest hospital?" Yea, he honestly didn't take notice of him until then. He had been too worried over Mia to acknowledge the presence of another. "Can you carry Cedar if she does not wake?" Though he glanced back towards Monet, wondering if the mononoke would help carry the girl.

'Athir...Athir...' Kian's eyes held no recognition as pain surged into his body, his leg was on fire and he felt something warm at his side, slowly seeping down... Yet there was so much elation within him that words could not even express. A smile wouldn't even come to his face. 'Safe...he's safe. I...'
He leaned into Athir, now feeling more dizzy than anything. He looked about to Cassiel, Monet, and then again to Athir, a small, weak smile finally trying at his lips but unsuccessful.
"I'm...I'm bleeding. It hurts..." Kian couldn't remember the last time he'd been injured. He had become so used to watching that he'd forgotten how vulnerable he truly was. While yes, he never denied his mortality, or the fact that he couldn't fight worth s**t, he'd never actually had to end up bruised and battered. His words had created an iron shield and yet in that simple quake of some sheer power, he'd found humility...
He loathed it.
"Athir...I'm so glad you're alive." He looked to his side, seeing the blood staining his blue linens. That irked him a bit more. "I'll be needing your washer, and most of your laundry detergent. And you're buying me dinner..." A playful smile graced his features, the color returning to his face as the shock came and went. The pain was unbearable, yet no tears fell from his face, and he certainly wouldn't groan. He found what he was looking for.
For all he was concerned about, this ordeal was over, and he just wanted to go home...with Athir. If only any god was around to grant that wish.

"Oh Kian.." he whispered in distress, supporting the additional weight as best he could with his lean, shorter stature. His face burried against the other man's chest, eyes closing to try and hold back the tears that were threatening to fall down his own cheeks. He wasn't as strong mentally as the witch eater was, and the stress of this entire ordeal was starting to unravel. His eyes did water though, like silver coins, a single tear betraying him and falling down a supple cheek. There was a mass amount of gratitude for Kian's presence.
An arm unwrapped from around him, to let a gloved hand wipe at the stream of water that stained a cheek, trying to clean himself up so that the other wouldn't see. Finally lifting his head back up, distraught written all over his soft features, Athir continued to speak softly, "I'm sorry... " he murmured, in regards to the pain. He looked down at the leg in question, "What.. are you doing here? did you get kidnapped as well?" he asked, "You should sit. Let me look at your leg." though he wouldn't be able to heal it entirely with his magic alone, he could at least stop the bleeding, surely. The light play was returned with a half-hearted, forced smile, struggling to work past the heavy worry laden on the witch. He could see the blood staining... which made his glossy eyes shimmer as more liquid began to pile up. It looked bad already... Well aware that crying was not appropriate right now, that one had to be level-headed, he really just couldn't help it. The stress was relieving from him in this fashion, making him wipe under his eyes and over his cheek numerous times... embarrassed to be seen like this in front of a man he quite admired.
Monet watched Kian and Athir for awhile in awe. Well how precious~ seemed to be young lovers, or close friends at least. Tail swaying pleasantly, his eyes flashed over as he felt Cassiel leave his side. Brows furrowing slightly with confusion, they slowly eased back smooth as he saw the exorcism meet up with a girl. The distress was quite visible on the other mans face. He had a special someone too? Well great. Now Monet was really feeling left out. Tail twitching a bit, the jewelry chiming in short beats, he looked back at the pair before him. Observing Kians injury, he shook his head, "Man, seems like everyone got beat up here." Surveying the area, his hands rested on exposed hips, thinking. And suddenly, there was an idea. "Wait here." he told Athir and Kian, before casually sauntering back to Cassiel, "Hey Cassy, if we can get everyone outside, who's injured, I can carry them on my back in my leviathan form. Of course, someone else would have to support them, but I think it'd get us back to town much faster than on foot. And that way those of us who are still able-bodied can save our strength.." he trailed off, shooting a glance to their opponents, "in case we have another unpleasant run-in..."

Half of Cedar's soul was trapped in the walls of the castle. Moving through rock wasn't particularly easy, it wasn't as alive as tress or bushes, plants in general. It was still possible but it took so much energy. But by the time it moved back to where her body was suppose to be, the black heart had thought she fainted, he didn't even realize she was using her magic to clear a path. This was a problem a very large problem for Cedar. She wasn't strong enough as a witch to support using her magic in rock for a very long time and now her body was taken away. Slowly and painfully trying to move through the walls her soul looked for it's physical form.
Her body had been laid on the grass outside. It someone woke her the agonizing pain she would feel could call her to pass right back out in fits. And the longer she was split in two as she was... The worse things got for her. Her wounds which not as severe as Mia's, should have had dried blood crusting over to prevent the loss of more was now opening with fresh blood and other bruises began to appear. Her breathing was naturally faint, but she had no conscious thought. Uaithne and Kalypso were her only hope to get her to her healer, Eir back in town and soon.
