Amphi wasn't sure where they were.
She was on a mission. It was a mission of her telling Roch that she was DEDICATED. Religiously so.
"Sometimes if a whale is backed into a reef, he lets loose a terrible roar. But because the whale is gentle, he just scares his predator then actually hurting them." Amphi's head continued to tilt up.
"Kisses are meant to be special with someone that you love. At least that is what my sisters say. And love is special too. Hugs are okay. You can hug me-" Her eyes popped though as the blush spread, he was looking straight into her face now. His hand holding her chin.
It was either fight or flight. And with how Amphi was being right now, she was proving a point. Something the mermaid never fought to do before.
"You wouldn't..." She continued to repeat, standing her ground.

He raised a pierced eyebrow, leaned down, and kissed her right next to the lips. There was the faintest brush of his lip ring against the corner of her mouth, even. "Don't dare me, screech," he said quietly next to her ear. "I'm the first guy to run into a fight, even if it gets me dissipated. You shouldn't forget that fact."

Amphi watched him for a brief moment, her eyes widening more as he actually did lean in...and kissed her. The cool metal of the ring on his lip was a shock to the warmth of his lip on the corner of her mouth.
Amphi's face turned so red, her argument disappeared.
"I...I..." She squeaked and then covered her face and, "but kisses are special Roch, Oh my jack. You can't just....." She turned on her heel....and then came back and poked him in the chest. Her face still completely red.
"You can't just kiss to threaten Roch Scythe...." She wasn't all that upset if not confused and then glared once more. "I will see you tomorrow now for sure. And I will punish you for being so mean!" She held her head up and then took off towards the school, leaving Roch in the dust.

He started laughing. It wasn't like he could stop himself after that entire conversation--first she said he was too nice to kiss a ghoul (seriously, though, maybe she was mixing up liking guys with being nice? Hell if he knew.) Then she said she'd "punish" him for being mean.
How was THAT going to happen? He stopped, scowling darkly for a long moment. He definitely had to get rid of her, and it didn't look like kissing was enough... What DID you do with a ghoul that just wouldn't take "no" for an answer? Well, hell, he knew a LOT of things you could do--but--
"Well... jack."
Maybe he could find that guy she seemed close to at the yearbook booth...
