[15-8] + [11-9]= 9 DMG Swinub 10 HP remaining
The Larvitar managed to pierce through his opponent with his bite. It wasn't super powerful or anything but at least he had landed a hit. Time was running a little short and with the hail slamming into him, he needed to take all the chances he could get. When his opponent flinched, he lunged forward, aiming to Bite down once more and finish this battle!

Squealing loudly, the Swinub would flinch slightly as he felt a chunk of his fur being ripped out by the Larvitar's body. Shaking his entire form to rid himself of any stray hairs here and now, the little Ice-Type would face the snow before him, and immediately begin burrowing into it. Unlike dirt frozen snow was easier to dig into, but if one wasn't prepared for the frozen chill it could be deadly...

Ryuu landed another attack but this one wasn't as deep. He backed up, glancing around at the snow. Maybe he should try the same tactic. He began to throw snow back up as a defense for now. But would it work a second time?

Wincing slightly, the Swinub would burst up from the ground. Turning around sharply the Pokemon gave a heavy snort. That had not been pleasant...not at all. Snorting heaving the Pokemon seemed to be working himself up into a frenzy; and then all at once he'd charge forward in a Tackle!

[19-2] + [10-10]= 17/2= 8.5 rounded to 9 DMG
With that last attack, Ryuu was knocked out completely. Blood was flowing freely from a wound and it was pretty close to coming to a death hit. The girl looked worried as she quickly returned her Larvitar to his pokeball. She considered using another pokemon but decided against it. No, she just needed to get out of here and to the nearby village. It was so clsoe. Glancing around, she ran towards the general direction of the village, fleeing the Swinub.

Yet when Riku attempted to run, she'd find the Swinub giving pursuit. The little porkchop was still hungry, and he'd determined her as the nearest source! Charging full force, the Swinub moved straight into a Tackle; now he was attempting to take the girl herself down!

Riku was slammed into by the pokemon. She landed on the snow luckily but her hands were were scraped up by the hail. Ouch, that had hurt. The pokemon was glaring at her again. Seeing the village was slightly closer then before, she quickly leapt back to her feet. She didn't know what else to do, not wanting to endanger any of her other pokemon. Running again, she tried once more to avoid getting hit by the Swinub!

If the Swinub wasn't about to let her go the first time, then why would it allow her the second? Snorting angrily at the girl's continued fleeing the hairy pig gave chase, attempting to ram into her again with another Tackle!

Riku was once again slammed into the ground. This time as she hit it, there were deeper scrapes and gashes. Her blood was starting to stain the white snow red with her blood. Geez, this pokemon sure was persistent. She decided to try running one more time before giving up and battling. The girl did have other pokemon including her most recently caught Sneasel. Sighing, she then tried to quickly dart away once more. The village... it was so close yet so far away...

Practically roaring at the girl, though it sounded more like an enraged squeal, the Swinub began to stamp his feet violently against the ground. Snorting, the Ice-Type would take off in a spray of snow and hair, throwing all his weight forward as he aimed to slam into the girl, stopping her from running once and for all this time!

Riku was slammed into the ground a third time, this time a piece of ice slashing through her flesh leaving a deeper wound then before. On top of that, she definitely would have bruises at the end of the day. Unable to move for a second, she grabbed a pokeball with her left arm and tossed it. She couldn't keep running, the girl needed help.
The Numel popped out of his pokeball in the flash of light. He rolled in the snow once before standing upright. What was going on? He turned back to look at Riku and saw that she was bleeding. Worried, he raced towards her. Stumbling to a halt, she had motioned at him to turn around. Rage filled the little pokemon as he turned. Who had done this? The camel spotted the Swinub and glared. This battle was going to be interesting.

Snorting loudly, the Swinub would halt for a moment, his standing fur beginning to settle against his body once more. A new scent had entered the air...another Pokemon seemed to be in his way. Sniffing the air tentatively the pig attempting to get a lock on this new scent. It was a tad spicy...a Fire-Type.
Squealing slightly, the Swinub would dash forward in a Tackle. He didn't have much other choice after all!

Riku just laid in the snow. Wincing, she sat up and then glanced around. Her blood was really flowing out especially from the deeper wound. Grabbing some in her fist, she then pressed it against her wound trying to stem the bleeding. The snow would help to numb it and stop the bleeding. Eventually if she kept pressing the snow against it, the blood would freeze over and form a scab. Meanwhile while continuing to press the cold snow against her wound, she watched the battle.
The Numel looked furious. ">You hurt my mommy! No one touches my mommy!<" Jin yelled angrily. The lava within his hump began to boil furiously. The heat began to come off in waves. The waves grew in size and then shot out! This was a Heat Wave attack aimed to hit the Swinub mid tackle!

In that one attack the Swinub would set ablaze, his hair burning away and his thick hide becoming charred. When all was said and done the faint smell of roasted pork would fill the air. They hadn't just defeated the pig, they'd cooked it!

Riku stood up, relieved. The wounds had stopped bleeding and she just needed to head to the pokemon center. With the pokemon out of the way, she was free to enter the village. Giving Jin a hug and thanking him for his help, she returned him to his pokeball. Maybe the battle had been something she just had to do. Shaking her head, she made her way to the village. Entering it, she then went to find the pokemon center. It was in the same place as before and she quickly entered. Stepping in front of the older Nurse Joy's station, she pulled out her pokeballs containing Ryuu, Sir Aiden, and the Sneasel. "I need to heal these pokemon please." she said urgently.
