"Right. Yes. Trousers. I'm sure your pants are fine."

Phew. That was a relief. He was really worried for just a fleeting moment about what kind of place would sell ripped undies.
Right, the task in hand he told himself, making his way over to the rails. Immediately he was disappointed they had to be black, finding a pair of trousers with an exciting looking pattern on them. Black was so ******** boring. Trousers were boring. Shopping was boring.
<> < Don't be mean. I think you'd look great in those ones over there. Not too formal see?>
He followed the mental direction Tracey was gesturing in and found himself at a more urban club wear rail, hunting out the first pair in his size. They were still fairly dressy, but didn't have any silly frumpy buttons the other rails had - buttons were for old men, not badass ********, and they also looked loose enough to be comfortable.
He wandered back over to Jordan and Harrison and held out the hanger to Jordan for inspection. "These?"

Harrison accepted the pile of articles handed to him with a certain amount of resignation. "Sure, fine," he said.
He did light up for a small moment at the tie.
"Same color as my sash, almost." Rep came back with some selections of his own. "Yeah, hey, I like those.'

"I'm not completely disregarding your tastes," Jordan said dryly. "There were no unicorn ties, though."
Rep returned with a pair of pants that ... weren't too bad, really. More street than formal, but he'd kind of expected that. Jordan took a thoughtful look at the pants - it could probably be pulled off as a deliberate style choice, with the right stuff. He returned with a white shirt and a striped vest, along with a wide black tie. "You can roll up the sleeves if you want," he said. "That would look good with the pants - er, trousers - and the sun necklace would, too."

Rep eyed the choices with uncertain curiosity. It wasn't the kind of combination he would ever have come up with on his own, but it was interesting. He could live with it. He took the various items. "Aye I used to roll up my shirtsleeves at school too, ******** that nerdy cuff bullshit."
Though he'd probably have to tuck in his shirt if he was wearing the vest. Years of teachers had never managed to make him tuck the thing in but he'd have to do it today. The things he did for fashion.
...he did not just think that. He needed to get out of this shop.
"Right. Will I go try this stuff on? " he asked.

"Just check the sizes," Jordan replied. "This stuff's good enough quality that we shouldn't have to worry about weird sizing. We can swing by the shoe department real quick on our way out and then just take the stuff back to change. I hate dressing rooms," he added.

"I'll cross dressing rooms off my kinky public to do list, then," Harrison said, checking the shirt and pants sizes as instructed. Looked about right.

Rep was checking the labels on his own clothes when Harrison spoke and completely forgot what he was doing to give him a look. "I've had enough of public anything for a while. Its the kinky private stuff that's the forbidden fruit lately."
He snorted and went back to the task in hand before he got derailed. "These look good."

Jordan's eyebrows went up. He reconsidered. Briefly. Then he shook his head and laughed a little. "I'd prefer not to be interrupted again. Too bad that hotel room is just for portal use. Okay, if everything's the right size we should be good." He headed back towards the counter, getting his wallet back out.

He dumped the pile of purchases, and gave the cashier a scarred, crooked smile.

Rep fell behind a little at the shoe department, but finally found something to match the rest of the outfit, his clothes tastes at least dictated that if he only had one colour on his clothes, he might as well keep it at one, there was a reason all his current clothing was green with a shade. Orange and black shoes it was.
He fished out his wallet - an ancient looking black leather affair with a faded crossed swords pattern on the front- and took out the card that supposedly accessed his wages. He just hoped he'd been paid something, anything. He didn't want to have to try and borrow money like Jerry.
As he wandered up to wait in line behind Harrison, looking vaguely thoughtful as he eyed his card. "Well its not the only hotel room in Vegas."

"Here, give me those," Jordan said, and collected the clothes and shoes from Harrison and Rep. "I'm not such an a*****e that I'd demand you get new clothes and then make you pay for it yourselves." No bills, he reminded himself. The cashier looked bored, barely paying attention as she rang things up; this apparently didn't count as weird. She'd probably seen plenty of people coming through to pick up something more formal before heading for the clubs and casinos.
He glanced at Rep, a thoughtful, calculating expression crossing his face. "You're right about that," he said.

Harrison leaned, considering, against the counter. "How long we in town for, again?"

He handed over the clothes without a protest, it saved him having to actually ask for handouts. "Ta."
His attention though, for the most part, was on what had just been said. "A day." He scratched his beard distantly. "Theoretically, how long does clothes shopping normally take?"

"24 hours, specifically," Jordan clarified. "Depends on who you're going with. My cousins could shop for hours at a time." He took the bag the cashier handed him. "Thanks."
