"Finish it Annabell!" Shina called.
Annabell sat up on her hind legs, and oh so delicately reached out a forepaw, resting it on the ice. Then she unleashed another Shock Wave.

The ice shattered into little pieces from the Shock Wave, and Millie collapsed on the ground. Lizzie didn't waste any time recalling her back into her Pokeball. Her face didn't betray any sort of emotion though she took extra care when putting the Pokeball back onto her belt.
"Let's go Psywater." She said, releasing the Lugia from his ball. At first he had trouble landing anywhere on the field, when it's littered with playground structures and a very violent Furret. But then he decided to just stay in the air.
"Ice Beam." Lizzie ordered, and Psywater complied by firing an icy beam at the Furret.

Annabell darted under the slide, and the attack diffused harmlessly on the piece of playground equipment. "Zap that bird out of the sky!" Shina called.
Annabell channeled her electricity through the metal of the slide, sending it arcing through the air of the stadium.

Psywater tried his best to evade the attack but the bolt of electricity seemed to follow him everywhere. After being zapped, he struggled to stay aloft and after a great stroke of his wings he managed to do so, though a few scorched feathers drifted downward in the process.
"Keep on trying to freeze her!" Lizzie shouted. Psywater fired another icy beam at the Furret hidden under the slide.

The next attack turned the slide into an icy tomb, freezing the area under it as well. Shina scowled. Lovely. From the ice, an eerie growling echoed.

"Yes!" Lizzie exclaimed as the slide and the Furret underneath it was frozen solid. It was payback for what she did to Millie. "Now Psywater, copy those attack boosts with Psych Up!"
Although the Furret was frozen, he was still a little wary about getting closer to her. But he obeyed Lizzie anyway and flew down to her. Psych Up needed eye contact in order for it to work and his eyes didn't linger a second more than it needed to on Anna.

Through the ice, Anna's red eyes glittered with the fire of the underworld, hate and a promise of retaliation clear through the unblemished ice.

Anna's expression didn't help with the Psych Up process but he eventually got it done. "Now Rock Smash!" Lizzie shouted out, and Psywater gladly followed through with it. Since the space under the slide was small, he didn't bother with trying to aim his attack under there and just brought his tail down onto the slide.

While the slide clanged loudly, the Lugia really should have aimed for an area not protected by metal. Annabell escaped damage entirely, and an eerie fufufufufu echoed out from the icy space. Crystalline sounds of ice beginning to shatter played a delicate counterpoint to the evil laughter.

Growling loudly, Psywater swung his tail down onto the slide again, this time harder than before. He did not like being laughed at! Lizzie, meanwhile, was going to suggest an alternative, but who was she to stop his ferocity.

This time the attack was hard enough to actually do damage, and Annabell muttered to herself in annoyance. She wanted to be out there ripping the Lugia to shreds!

Psywater raised his tail to strike again but Lizzie stopped him before he did. She knew that Anna was going to try and freeze him again and if she succeeded at that then the match was very well over...
"Safeguard first. And prepare yourself." She told him. Psywater let out a sigh and coated himself with the mystical veil. His trainer was always the cautious one.

Annabell blasted free of the spiderwebbed ice, not wasting an instant before she unleashed a torrent of energy.
From her trainer box, Shina decided that despite the violence, the effect was rather pretty. Lightning chased through the cloud of glittering ice shards, like diamond dust on a cold morning.

Psywater took the electric blast like a champ, though it was surprisingly more powerful than he had expected. He wanted to shout out in pain but that'll just be giving into the dumb Furret, and besides Lizzie would be disappointed.
"Freeze her again." The trainer knew that it would be harder for Psywater to freeze Anna again, especially when she was on the move, but she had faith in him.

Annabell moved to quickly for the ice to take hold, sliding under the teeter-totter.
"Keep it up Anna! Don't miss, and we can do this!" Shina cheered.
Annabell just unleashed another energy storm. To her, it was just another battle, and right at that moment, she was alive. The ice in the air, the electricity in her fur, the risk making her blood hum. This was what she lived for. Now that she had a human to feed her and care for her, she could truly focus on each and every battle, without worrying about anything but the thrill of the fight. Her blood-red eyes glowed with inner fire, locked on her opponent.
