Mitsuki_Amakura That sounds like so much fun! I need a foreign language credit at the college I'm going to, so I may be taking that course next Fall. Is it very difficult?? It depends. I hope you get a prof. that is fun and wants to teach you and that you want to learn it. It becomes a little easier. Here is one of the things we use for extra credit its called Lifeprint. http://www.lifeprint.com/asl101/fingerspelling/index.htmor ASLpro to find the words we need when we are signing a song http://www.aslpro.com/cgi-bin/aslpro/aslpro.cgi a example of signing. as we talk we say stuff like "Hello, how are you?" Where as in Sign we say in sign " Hello, how you?" with the expressions on your face.

Vivid Fizz The choker should be easy enough for you. The rest... eh, I wish you every luck on your project. That is a lot to get done in such a short period of time. The choker's the only thing I'm doing from scratch. The corset needs to be altered to fit my figure (it was too big), and the skirt is getting an 8 inch layer sewn onto it. (it's too short) It won't be too hard. Just a bit tedious. It's all worth it, though!

I have always wanted to learn ASL since I was 6. but there was no one around to teach me. it took up to collage to find some one to teach me plus i find it a challenge due to my right side being weak and i can barely make the sign shape with. But i look at it this way. its a challenge I want to over come and be ale to talk with folks so I do my best.

Vivid Fizz Sounds like it will be pretty cool when you're finished. You should show us when you're done. Yeah, I can't wait to model it! I need to show off my Twilight Sparkle outfits too. I'll probably start a thread here for cosplay pics and stuff when I'm through. If you'd like to see some of the stuff now, then I'll post them. Steampunk costume: Fascinator Corset Skirt Fingerless Gloves and Shoes. I can't find the pendants I'm using for the Choker, but I'm sure I'll take a picture of me in the outfit when it's completed. Oh, and the Twilight Sparkle outfits I'll be wearing are based on these pictures: 1 and 2. For the second one, though, I have a cutie mark iron on patch that I put in the right corner of the vest. I also bought a wig and pink and purple hair extensions for my outfits. Don't have a horn, ears, or tail, though. Couldn't afford them this year.

Been a while since I've done anything with it though.

Vivid Fizz Ooooooh! Well have a good time with your family! Ugh, so tired now! The party was okay...too hot, though. But thankfully, my roommate left to get something to drink at Starbucks with her mom, and then when they got back, her mom made my choker for me! So awesome...so today wasn't totally unproductive toward my costume....My mother is going to a childhood friend's house tomorrow though...-headdesk- I swear, if she wait until Wednesday to help me finish everything, I'm going to scream....
