Oooh…an hour until what?
Surprises were so much fun (usually)! Molly wasn’t going to ask for it to be spoiled though, so she just smiled and nodded her head. What a pleasant surprise as well, that the song shifted…oh thank goodness. “I’d love to!” Molly replied, more than sincerely this time as she followed him back to the dance floor. Now that she knew what she was going into it, she did seem more relaxed as well, but the blushing never stopped as he wrapped his arms back around her waist. Well, the idea of projecting confidence worked. Molly didn’t question it, and it gave her the courage for her to gently wrap her arms back around his neck.

Bix once again, despite trying to act calm, could feel his heart start beating heavily in his chest. He became hyper aware of his hands on her waist and her arms around his neck and where his eyes needed to look. He tried to look around a bit as well but thought it seemed rude for some reason and looked back down at Molly.
Her hair smelled nice.
Bix gulped dryly, licked his lips, and wondered if he should have kept one of those bottles of water. His suddenly felt so hot and was sure he had to be brick red.
"Hey.. sorry I acted like it was a mission." He didn't quite realize that the surprise was nice. "I wasn't sure you'd come out. Even though I had asked before kind of.." he remembed the insanity made him yell, an in retrospect was not the best way to ask someone out.
Was he staring at her mouth? Bix thought he had been a second ago. But then he realized he definitely WAS staring at her mouth as soon as he began to think about it... DAMMIT. Don't be a creep. Don't be a creep. It was his inner mantra.
It was a cute mouth though.

It was quite the dilemma indeed! Molly wasn’t where to keep staring herself. Looking anywhere but him might be rude…but looking straight at him the entire time might be…not nice either…? It was nice he had that little braid. She found her eyes drifting back to that quite often.
“Hmm? Oh! It’s alright!” Molly assured, smiling up at him. “I mean…I would have come regardless, unless I was already on a mission or on duty…well…” She giggled a bit softly, looking off to the side. “…Maybe a bit of a heads up would have been nice too? I mean…I really liked the surprise, don’t get me wrong, it’s just…” She glanced around at some of the other girls. “…You went through all this effort and bought me a lovely dress and shoes and I could have put more effort into making my hair at least a bit nicer for this!” Oops, that didn’t make her sound vain, did it? It wasn’t that at all! She just felt like Bix deserved to have a nice looking date and…well…she had come with the thought that it was a mission, so there was no need to get fancy.
She glanced back up at the albino, tilting her head. “…Is everything alright, Bix?” She murmured. “You’re looking um a little…” Well…a lot… “Red…do we need to go outside for some air…?”

"Everything is fine." He smiled when he was hit with a sudden and startling thought. He wanted to kiss her. Like for real. Not the kind of kiss where you dismissed it as nothing. He swallowed again, second guessed himself and didn't make the move.
"I think you look great. You always do..." He suddenly felt dumb. "I didn't even think about your hair.. it always is so cute. Sorry. Next time I will warn you and we'll both get fancy and .. do something fancy." He chuckled, glad to be ignoring the urge to kiss her.
The song seemed to be winding down and his arms tightened a bit around her. He didn't even seem to notice he did it. His brain was just thinking how close she was and oh god kisskisskisskisskisskiss.
TOO SOON TOO SOON! The other part of his brain screamed.
Bix din't know what to do so he just held on and waited for the song to ride itself out.

Sadly, Molly was rather oblivious to any internal dilemma and struggle Bix seemed to be having. Her cheeks turned red as he complimented her, and she ended up ducking her head a bit, staring at his loosened tie for now. “Aw shucks…” She murmured. “You’re making me blush!” Not that he had to try very hard. “Thank you…and I look forward to it! I’ll make my hair uh…super nice for a fancy outing!”
If Molly noticed his tightening arms, she didn’t say anything about it, and instead loosened her hold around his neck as the song started to come to an end.

Bix, momentarily, rested the side of his face affectionately on the top of her head. The song was ending and they both had fallen quiet. As long as he wasn't called on it, he would try to be slick. The song ended and right before he unrapped his arms from her, Bix put a soft kiss into her hair.
Finally the time came and the sounds of a fast song began to thrum through the soft music. Bix slowly unwrapped his arms from her waist and held her hand again. After a few moments gathering his wits (and wiping away the KISSKISSKISSKISS chant) he gave her a grin.
"Ready for the next part of the plan?" Bix began to head for the door.

Molly paused as she felt his cheek on the top of her head…but she did nothing to disrupt the action. Sadly, with her hair being so thick and curly, she didn’t register the soft pressing of his lips to her hair, and as he pulled away, her arms slid from around his neck. She held onto his hand in return, and smiled up at him as he grinned at her. She nodded her head enthusiastically and followed after him.
Next part of the plan hmm…surprises surprises!

Bix led her out of the gym, a kid in the hall was puking in the trashcan and others were laying all over benches asleep. A few stood in a circle planning the rest of their night but Bix just weaved through them all and took them back the way they came. Back in the locker room he moved back to the locker and took out their bags.
He slipped out the door into the alley again. The breeze felt amazing after the hot gym and he tucked their bags behind a trashcan and finally pushed the door shut. It clicked, leaving the school behind them.
"We're only going a block." Bix smiled encouragingly and took her hand again. Once they wound around the building they were on a brightly lit street. It seemed to be somewhere with ocean and palm trees. You could smell the salt on the wind. As Bix started walking you could see the stretch of road they were coming up on was lined with brightly lit businesses. They started to pass small boutiqes and barber shops. It changed into a few larger business, more upscale, and finally when Bix stopped they were under the marquee of a sleek looking movie theater.
GUESS WHAT POSTER WAS PLASTERED EVERYWHERE OUT FRONT?

Molly seemed to smile sympathetically at the kids who partied too hard as they passed, and just continued to trail after Bix as he led them. Retrieving their bags and then stashing them somewhere new made the red head a bit nervous. Would their bags really be alright hidden there? Not that she was that concerned about her clothes…it was more or less just her Deus Coat and her mission bag she was worried about but…ah well.
Vaska was on her wrist…that was all that really mattered.
She really enjoyed the walk, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells, but it was the sight of the movie theatre that would steal away her attention. Molly did remember their conversation, and while she was no where near as versed in Marvel super heroes as Bix, she knew enough to know that he really wanted to see this and it was on the list. Hey, it was a movie too, and Molly did want to see more of those. Her hand tightened its hold on his and her face positively lit up as she pointed at the poster.
“It’s the movie on your list!” She exclaimed, as if it wasn’t obvious.

"I'm so excited!" Bix seemed about to burst. Any reserved calm he was maintaining for the sake of the date seemed to fly out the window. "I CAN NOT WAIT. I have been waiting for this movie forever. You are totally going to love it. Lots of muscley men for you to look at."
Bix didn't seem to care about her oggling them. THEY WERE SUPER HEROES.
He held the door for her and VOILA.. already had some pre bought tickets. He swiped his card through a tiny machine and they printed out. The albino hunter practically had a seizure of happiness when they were handed 3D glasses that were super hero themed.
She got Black Widow and he got Hawkeye because he stood at the box and made the guy give him the ones he picked. A soda was bought, some popcorn (even though Molly said no... he wanted some), and then soon they were seated in the movie.
Bix held her hand the whole movie except when it was TOO ACTION PACKED and they both gasped or pointed at the screen. By the time it was over Bix was SUPER ENERGIZED AND EXCITED.
He swung their clasped hands back and forth happily. "IT WAS SO GOOOOD."

Molly, on the other hand, was much calmer about the whole ordeal, but she was pretty excited to see it! No where near as excited as Bix, but excited none the less. Plus his enthusiasm was contagious all on its own.
“Uh…y-yay?” Molly squeaked in regards to the comment about muscles, and followed him to the ticket counter, looking mightily impressed and thanking him up and down as he handed her a ticket and then…3-D…glasses? Molly then spent the rest of the time between the ticket counter and getting to her seat looking rather perplexed. 3-D movies? They had those? Oh well. Molly sat down and shut up after putting her glasses on, just happy to be at Bix’s side and to absorb the movie.
Okay…
Maybe she was a bit distracted with butterflies at the fact that he held her hand nearly through out the entire movie.
But she really did enjoy it! Molly was easy to please, and it had been an awesome movie. She was smiling as Bix swung their hands and was watching him out of the corner of her eye. “It was!” She agreed happily. “I enjoyed it a lot! Thank you so much for taking me to it. It was the best!”

"I was so impressed." Bix gushed. "All the action.. it was like start to finish. Who did you like the best?" He turned to her eagerly. She may not have noticed but he was walking them back the way they came. it didn't mean he was headed there though.
After a block he paused and opened another door for her. He was so busy gabbing that he didn't ask, just did.
IHOP.

Molly just beamed, and when question about who was her favorite, she looked thoughtful for a moment. “Um…I liked them all, honestly! Um…for different reasons…the Hulk because he was green…and because I want to get angry like that…Iron Man because he’s so smart…Black Widow because she has curly hair too and is strong and can fight with her hands and feet…um and Hawkeye too because he reminds me of you and—“
She was going to keep on going until he opened another door and she just kind of went on through until she seemed to register where she was. It smelled really good in here, and it also brought back some nostalgia for her. It was like when she worked at the diner…
The trainee looked back at Bix. “Are you hungry?”

"I am always hungry." Bix grinned and let go of her hand finally when the waitress seated them. He slid into a booth.
"Oh no.. Hulk Molly would be so funny. 'Did you eat breakfast Clerise? noo....OOOOHHHH MOLLY SMAAAASHHHH!'
Bix batted his fists on his menu and made a crazy face. "BREAKFAST BAAAARSS ARRRGGH!!"
He flipped open his menu.

Molly slid into the seat across from him and immediately picked up her menu, shielding her face from the young man so that only the tops of her head and the sides of her curls were visible.
As Bix’s impersonation of her as Molly Banner, the young woman slowly lowered her menu until her eyes were peaking out from over it. Her brows furrowed, and she seemed to debate whether she thought this was funny or alarming Bix’s take on her as a Hulk. Would she flip over someone not eating breakfast? Did…did she nag that bad on people? Molly suddenly seemed worried and brought her menu up to hide her face again as she looked over the items.
A moment of silence on her part.
Then a giggle.
Another moment of silence.
“And they say an arrow to the knee isn’t a super power.”
Molly flipped the page.
