A hand looped through Kailash's arm as miusa returned tot he group of knights and ars, and amber eyes glanced up at him demurely. She leaned upwards, her lips coming to his ear, hot breath wisping against it as she whispered to hiim. "Call it an inkling," she murmured, her voice soft and breathy against his ear. "But that group there," she gestured towards the clustered group of witch eaters. "May possibly have another vendetta inside Poena Privus, so perhaps we ought to be..cautious, right?" She pulled away slowly, taking the light scent of flowers with her. If Remiel was going to taunt her openly, then she would do the same. "I believe we should soon depart, regardless." ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰

The witchling did not have to feign her wide-eyed reaction when the tall man came over and wiped the tears from her cheeks. His touch was so delicate and his sleeves were so much warmer than her chilled skin. Étaín blinked up at his kind smile, mildly surprised at how simple it had been to secure his sympathies. In the back of her mind, she calmly noted that tears were, in fact, highly effective. Fascinating. She had not ever been much of one for manipulation; she preferred detachment and observation. But she had little issue with aiming for something she wanted and pursuing it. She had seen other girls use rambling babble quite effectively as well...
Keeping her shoulder hunched, so as to appear smaller, Étaín took a deep breath and watched herself dry-wash her hands.
"Thank you, so much, Sir. I... I know there was nothing I could have done, really. I just feel so guilty. When I couldn't find them and I heard about the disappearances, I was so relieved that I wasn't with them, I..." Shimmering indigo cut through sooty lashes to look up at Cassiel. "I want to go along, to see that everyone is alright. But I don't think Professor Miusa would approve. But I promise I would stay out of the way! I just want to see them safe, for myself..."
Stopping her fidgeting entirely, Étaín darted her head up to look into the exorcisma's gentle golden eyes. "With so many powerful people, do you think I would be in the way? I just want to see...I just want to see."
That wasn't even entirely a lie. She certainly wouldn't get in the way and she did just want to see... Poena Privus. She didn't wish ill on her schoolmates, she hoped they were fine. But the Reapers took them, so they must have reason.

((So sorry for my delayed posting ;; ))
Oh how he did indeed know how far flattery could get you. It was one of his most dangerous skills, after all! He gave Rosel a cheshire smile and a gaze that promised he'd be willing to explore just how fare his flattery could get him with her. Alas, they unfortunately did not have the time to play such games right now. No, there were other games that needed to be won first. And he already had his pieces moving slowly into place even as he charmed his newest companions. His mismatched eyes briefly flickered towards Kian A dangerous smile flashed across his lips before he turned away and looked down at Rosel.
"Hmm...well I hope it's not too difficult to navigate through the ruins. I really would hate to put all my faith in our dear Knights." He lightly crossed his arms, head canted slightly as he thought. "I myself have heard similar." Remiel added. Though that only made his curiosity to see inside Poena Privus that much more exciting! Oh the secrets he could discover within it's walls!
And then his face positively ignited into a devilish sort of glee. He looked down at the delicious female that stood before him. His white lily! Remiel's chuckle was deep and held a hint of huskiness to it. "Time. It's such a funny thing, don't you agree darling?" He murmured, leaning in close enough that their faces were inches apart. And yes, his eyes did flicker down to her bosom, fingers itching to snake up and squeeze. Oh how he loved tormenting Miusa!
"I believe my...'friends', as you say, are well aware of what they will face. I hope you are as well." The last was murmured low before she whirled away.
Yes. He was aware things might get a little...interesting once they attempted their little break-in. And he was positive that the witch eaters he was gathering around him were much more aware of this then those foolish Knights! "Well, you heard the lady." He drawled out to his small group. "Things might get a little 'scary'." Remiel glanced at each of them, a playful smile dancing about his face. He moved and snatched up Rosel's hand in his, placing it gently within the crook of his arm. "I initiate the buddy system!" And of course he chose such a lovely creature...
Sending his fellows a sly grin, Remiel let those mismatched eyes fall on Miusa and her Knights. "Will we be attempting this 'rescue' anytime before those Blackheart's get bored and need to amuse themselves?" He asked airily. Why yes. Yes he was still mocking the Knights. And getting under Miusa's skin at the same time!

Kian smiled, his plan working to the absolute tee. The "blind" girl had fallen pray to his insults, his slight flattery and most of all, the way he'd dismissed her as not being worth his time. He listened to her tick off his eye, and the color of his hair.
He turned back around, cocking his head a bit, with a small, cold smile. "Not so broken after all are you, my lady?" He stared at her, with a bored, flat expression, but within his mind, he was withering with excitement. She'd be quite useful, considering he was sure most dismissed her as easily as he had pretended to. "Then perhaps you'd enjoy breaking into the one place that all seem to fear?"
He looked over to Aodhan and his group. Watching that other blue haired man touching what was once his... It burned at his heart a bit, till he realized it'd been his own choice to abandon. He had to remain rational, and he knew damn well Aodhan had another in his life now, how close they really were, he wasn't sure. Kian was better off without that dumbass anyway. And Kian may have had another? He thought back on the blonde boy, Athir. Rolling his eyes, he turned back to Aero. "Shall we?" he asked, jerking his head back to Remiel, Rosa and another, holding a doll.
Seemed dolls were quite in fashion these days.

Miusa’s sudden appearance was a bit startling, though Remiel didn’t appear phased in the slightest. Faced with an old teacher, who didn’t appear to have aged a day, Rosel inwardly felt young and defensive again. If anything, she and Miusa appeared around the same age now, which should have leveled her mental playing field. Rosel hadn’t gotten into too much trouble when in school, so Miusa likely didn’t even remember her as a student, but it was never pleasant to face past authority figures.
Apparently Remiel had no problem facing her, and Rosel would have bet her shoes Miusa didn’t miss that sweater-peek. She made a mental note to keep any eye on their interactions in the future.
”Scary? There’s scarier things out there.” There were scarier things there in the room, but the knights didn’t know it. Well, one of them did. ”The Blackhearts can be intimidating, but they’re still just…witches with pointy sticks.” She wasn’t sure she entirely believed that, but a little bravado never went amiss.
She felt her arm being pulled up into Remiel’s, and she looked over in surprise, still caught in her secret self doubt. One eyebrow rose in sardonic disbelief as she tapped her nails on his arm. After that little performance, he was still going to keep playing? He obviously wasn’t performing for her – she could care less who he ogled – so who was he trying to get at? Her eyes were drawn to Miusa, who had latched onto a blue eyed knight and gestured discreetly towards the pair of them.
Aha.
Miusa was gambling, and Rosel would bet there weren’t many knights who would play along with making a man jealous for no reason at all, especially when there were kids to find and reapers to storm. Which made Remiel’s little game two against one.
She giggled fanatically and clutched to his arm, kicking up a heel. ”Oh you cad! Of course I’ll be your buddy.” She winked cheekily and gave him a devious smile.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰

Why, gods, did she have to be dragged into such things? Heroic deeds were not her forte, and her growing grumpiness with Remiel and his schemes was gnawing at her like a hungry flea.
"Blackhearts wouldn't hurt those who don't hurt others, however..." she said quietly. "They strive to do what the knights can't, or won't do, but they won't discriminate against the one who assails them, or the one who stands in their way. Should their reason for the abduction be involved within their approach and quest for good, which it more than likely is, and the kids either refuse to aid them or cause trouble, there is a high probability they could be injured, or worse. We should leave now. Plans aside, the only way any of us will be able to go in is through the front door." [[ PLease continue your RP in the Chapter 3: MERGE thread. :> ]] ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★✰
