Mort didn't answer at first, all eyes on the gray patches the dragon had, his jaw clenched. Was there no low Fate would stoop to give the students trouble? They might claim Insanity was not contagious, but he was sure he knew better: because of his presence, two ghouls who had not gone on the trip had been given nightmares and sleepless nights. No, he was staying away from the dragon, thank you very much, and he would not relax so long as Jericho remained. "M'fine," he mumbled, glancing at Amrita with a slight frown at the odd quality of her voice. "Don't sound so good yourself. Holding up okay?"

Shehk sincerely doubted that ridiculing the dragon's current condition was in anybody's playbook. She frowned lightly when he suggested it, but didn't comment to that effect. Instead, she just lingered, almost protectively. Funny for a Red Dragon to be guarded when they normally did the guarding.
But never the less.
"I think as long as we can keep Boogeymen from finding out about it, that'd be safest." she chimed in with her own opinion, passing Jericho a look for confirmation on this thought. Sadly, she wasn't sure if she could trust them or not still...
They'd taken Riley....

"I would never do that!" She pouted, clearly feeling a little indignant that Jericho would even think that, "It's just so... If there's anyone else with the same affliction, they wouldn't feel alone, or that they're fighting a lone battle." Malodore was the one who brought it up, and she figured that now would be a good time to talk about 'Insanity' as opposed to when they're at a "public" event.
"Don't worry," She nodded at Shehk, "Someone once told me that we're our own side. That's going to stay true for a while longer." A pause, and she relaxed slightly, "I'll leave you two alone now. There are things to do still." She sighed, and then returned to Xiu and Junko.
So many things to do.

Imryn had been a tad nervous upon getting the text and spent the next few hours debating about if it was a good thing to go or not. It was one thing to sit and lurk on the forums, finding out what she could thre about the Hunters and such while keeping her eyes and ears open for anything new. It was something completely different to go and have a meeting face to face with them. In the end though, curiosity won out and she texted back her answer.
Spiderday came and she now found herself wandering about the Monster dorms looking for the designated meeting place. The directions were quite clear, though from just looking around the place a little on her way through, it was easy to see how one could get lost in there very easily.
Cautiously, she poked her head into the room upon arrival and took a quick glace around before floating in and taking up a spot off on the edges of the group. So far the only one who seemed familiar to her was the chimera ghoul she'd spotted a few times before. Not that she'd expected to see one or two of the few people that she did know here as this seemed to be a gather small group, if the forums were any indication. For now she would just watch and wait to see what would come of this, if anything. After what had happened with the Four Clans, it was better to try to be prepared than not.

The reaper smiled a bit up at Mot, and then looked over at Sparrow, reaching up to squeeze his elbow in a return gesture while his hand was on her shoulder. She was about to say something when Jericho shouted, and while Mot and Sparrow had the decency to look away, Hel did not. She just continued to blatantly stare until Sparrow spoke up once more. “ Mmm, I am fine.” She looked back up at Mot, and then at Sparrow, and idly noted that she seemed to surround herself with taller people…drat. She snorted a bit, grinning lightly up at Sparrow. “ You call that forward? That is pretty modest, I think, friend.”

Astra was pretty sure she was late, but in all honesty, she didn't care. Normally, she would of been all over the chance to find out who was behind seeds, and get to hear all the secretive information. But now? She could barely summon up the will to go to the meeting place.
Looking at the cloth that covered the entrance, she pushed it aside, glancing around briefly at the others that had assembled, then slowly walked towards a space on the corner of the carpet. There, she sat on the floor, knees pulled close to herself as she waited for whatever it was they were going to talk about. She didn't even flinch when Jericho shouted, nor did she really seem interested in who was here and who wasn't.
Nothing interested her.

Xiu, for the most part, remained silent as students slowly appeared one by one. She offered those who greeted her a small smile and a nod, but it was clear that she was distracted. Her hands were folded in her lap, and every so often, she would absentmindedly begin to wring them in a nervous fashion.
The only times she spoke was when she was directly addressed. Sparrow had received a small grin and a quiet, "good to see you're well". And indeed, Sparrow was another name to check off of her checklist of "friends who are safe", along with Mort, Taryn, and the others. Vaith had earned a rather wry smile and a nod at his question. Apparently the fact that she had chosen to visit the Isle of Conquest had not been a very surprising one. She supposed that it was one of her more obvious choices to be sure.
She pushed herself to her feet when she spotted Astra, noting that the ghoul seemed out of sorts. Of course, everyone seemed a little out of sorts lately, herself included. Xiu considered checking up on her friend, but held back when Lizzy returned to where she and Junko were. If most of the students had gathered, then the meeting would start soon--everything else would have to wait.

This was so, so much different than anonymous posts on a private forum. They'd see his face. Know his opinions, his uneasiness on the subject that their conversations were centered upon. Thackery had very nearly decided not to come, but it nagged at him until the very last possible moment. He had to. Isolating himself and his conflicted mindset wasn't the smartest thing to do. Especially now. And what if they knew how to help Ash? How could he forgive himself for ignoring an opportunity like that?
He fidgeted with his phone as he made his way to their meeting spot, hoping that his lack of concentration wasn't going to put him at a dead end. No matter how hard he tried, his mind was always elsewhere, between the Insanity, what it was doing to Ash...and what it had made him do to Reine.
So when he finally managed to find the room, he felt a surge of relief, pocketing his phone before entering. All of the stirred dust was making his nose awfully itchy, but he tried hard to refrain from sneezing, nose scrunched up in protest. He didn't want to call any extra attention to himself. Even in the midst of friends and familiar faces, he felt a little unsettled. These were heavy times and volatile situations, and everything he did required some careful thought, lest he really ruin something.
He plopped down on the carpet and waited, chewing his lip.

Calder was late. VERY late. He hadn't been checking his phone as often, and had accidentally slept in the side of the dorms while walking outside. Exhausted, he hadn't even thought to check his phone until it was well past received.
Respond back, he darted to the assigned room, glad for something new to do. His mind needed distractions as much as the next person, and Seeds always had a sense of urgency and importance that he liked.
He still hadn't returned Invi's robes.
Opening the door, the kelpie stepped in and found a place to sit on the carpet - or more like collapse onto.

Amphi had chewed and debated over the text message. The last time she had been at a Seeds meeting had ended her with a new minipet, a ton of protection charms and the Hallway that led to the Haunted house where they could meet hunters.
Breathing in, she looked over the text message one more time before sighing. The meeting wasn't out of her reach and she needed to attend, to understand.
She liked that about SEEDs after all. It helped her understand the things that were going on.
She followed a couple students as they headed to the same room before slipping in herself. Surprised that the room was indeed very full already.
"Ah..." She shuffled a bit before taking a seat next to a small black dog....
"Hello there." She smiled politely at him, "I like your outfit, Its very adorable." She flushed before bringing her knee's up so she could rest her chin on it. For now, she would listen to what was being said instead of responding.

Mort's silence was starting to worry her, and she was about to call him out on it when he finally said something.
"Yesss, thaank yoou. Juust need to geet fiixed." She assured him, reaching up to pat his arm, giving it a hopefully reassuring squeeze. Aside from the throat and chest damage, the missing hand and the stress of her world at the moment, she was perfectly fine...and would continue to be that way if she had anything to say about it.
"Iii thiink it'ss my tuurn to reead the storiess..." Amrita chuckled wetly, a weak noise as she continued to grasp on straws to cheer up her friends. When Calder arrived, she shot him a worried look before turning back to Mort, wrapping her fingers around his wrist. "Coome siit?" She asked, looking between the Zomboil and the Dracolich; she wanted to go sit with Calder, and since they had more or less been a group on the isles...she wanted them to come too.

At this point he couldn't deny the idea of sitting down - every day felt like a long day now, every step another burden. Would this nightmare ever end? Or would he one day wake up with a net surrounding him, dragging him and the other students to their doom? Or worse, wake up only to have cravings of Home?
At Amrita's insistence Mort followed, falling against the wall next to Calder with a dull thud. It was funny: Calder and Amrita had been two of the first people he'd met at Amityville, in a sewing group of all things. And here they were again, gathered under far more dire conditions. And Aymet, Jack, he still meant to ask after D&H after Merope had told him about it, but not like this . . . "Hey," he told the mostly sullen group, trying to clutch at the same optimistic straws the vetala was. "Ah . . . d-did find more notes since parting?"

Calder's worn eyes looked up to offer a small smile to his friends. Amrita still looked rather bad off, and he had hoped she would have seen someone to get herself fixed. "Amrita, you should see Nurse Cricket soon." He pointed out, not against taking her there to make sure she didn't dodge the responsibility by going off to tend to someone else. Still, she was up and moving, and all things considered, that was good.
His eyes moved to look at Mort, and gave another smile. "I can't remember. It was a blur. We collected as much as we could, but we were attacked shortly after we left you. We didn't get much else." He sighed. "I don't even know if it matters considering the islands are lost." A hand went up to rub at his eyes, feeling the strain of looking at far too many books and working on little sleep.
"How have you been, Mort?" He asked, removing his hand and looking up. ((*EDIT: SORRY MORT! I WROTE YOUR NAME WRONG! All fixed now. U_U;;;;;; ))

The sound of something beeping echoed through the room, and it only stopped when Lizzy took out her eyephone, and shut off the alarm; it was time to start the meeting, and she was sure that anyone who was really interested... Would have made it by now. Unless they got lost, which really was... A possibility, given how vast and messy the Monster Dorm was.
"Hello everyone! Please, do take a seat... I'm sorry we couldn't do more, but we couldn't risk anyone getting suspicious by bringing in chairs," Her voice was shaking a little, mostly due to nervousness, but the expression on her face was one filled with determination as she stood up with Junko and Xiu, holding onto their hands tightly. Once everyone had settled, she was greeted with the sight of Mac walking into the room - he had been placed on 'looking for lost people' duty - and seeing him... Well, it gave her enough courage to continue on.
"First off, on behalf of Xiu and Junko, I would like to thank you all for coming," She let go of her friends' hands, and the three bowed down together, keeping their heads lowered for a few seconds before straightening up, "Welcome to Seeds' first ever meeting. Xiu, Junko, and myself... We are Admin. We are the ones who founded Seeds, together with the knowledge and help of Pepin."
A pause followed, as she allowed the students to digest that piece of information; some of them already knew, but others did not, "Amityville is a big school. Look around this room... How many faces do you recognize? How many of these people do you actually know personally? Seeds was made so that it could pull people together... By sharing information, opinions, and ideas on the forum, you might gain information that would otherwise be unknown to you because you had never spoken to that person before. However, this had all changed recently... I realized that it is very difficult to trust a faceless, nameless person. It is also very dangerous. By getting rid of the anonymity, I hope to change that." She raised a hand, putting it on her chest, "My name is Elizabeth Baines, but most people call me Lizzy. I am Duriangon on the forums. I live in the Demon Dorms, Room 154. If you need someone to talk to, I'll be there for you."
She lowered her hand, "Be open, be honest with one another. As you know, hunters have the technology to blend into our world. However, unless I am mistaken, they lack our natural born abilities. For example..." She gestured at Jericho, "A fake Red Dragon will not fly." She gestured at Junko, "A fake Futakuchi-onna will not have a second fully functional mouth." She gestured at Xiu, Thackery, Shehk, and Aymet, "And a fake Halloween creature will not have a fully-functional natural form when you take their skull pin away. When in doubt, check, ask, confirm."
Her nervousness had faded away by now, and she was speaking normally, a sheepish smile on her face, "I hope that we can all get along! Even if you dislike each other, we all have a common goal, right? We want to be safe - we want a future. Fall in love, get married, raise a family, perhaps! Or to graduate and become a Professor, a Seamstress, a Baker, a Guide, a Trick-or-treater, a Bogeyman... And I say, go for it! Be a Bogeyman that future scarelings-" At this, her expression softened, "-can look up to! We also wish to protect the people we care about, so they can have a future too... For these common goals, I hope that we can at least get along when it's needed."
She briefly glanced at Xiu and Junko, getting their 'ok' to move on, "Now, I'm going to tell you what we're going to go through today... First off, the three golden rules of Seeds. Secondly, I'm going to talk about humans, and the existing Halloween organizations, as well as where we stand in relation to them. Thirdly, I wish to talk about a condition dubbed 'Insanity'. Finally, there will be a Q&A session. I will end the day with... A mission. By then, I'm sure everyone will have their own opinions about our operations, and thus, enough to know if they wish to take part in this mission."
She eyed the students, suddenly becoming serious, "Now... The three golden rules of Seeds...
One, be loyal. Never, ever betray Amityville or Seeds to people who wish to destroy it. Keep your lips sealed. Seeds does not exist, we are just a rumor. Do not talk about Seeds, do not compromise Seeds. Do not commit atrocities or crimes using the name of Seeds or Amityville.
Two, be vigilant. If you have evidence to believe that there is a threat, don't keep it to yourself! Tell others! Spread it on the forum! You only have so many eyes - with us keeping a look out as well, there will be more people on the defense!
Three, be smart. If someone asks you to meet them somewhere, make sure that it is not a deserted place, or at an odd time! Meet them somewhere crowded, and never go alone if you're worried! Keep your phone at your side, call for help if you need it."
She took a deep breath, tilted her head, and smiled, "Any questions before I continue? You may direct them to Xiu, Junko, or me."
OOC: -> If your eyes are bleeding from this wall of text, please only read the pink parts. -> Quote me (Lizzy), Eight (Junko), Kaiyumi (Xiu) if you need us! -> Questions will be addressed as they come! -> I love you all for joining ;; -> IF YOU ARE A LATECOMER, you probably have my permission to be late. Otherwise, "sigh-ups" are now closed! If you really want to be here, you can try IMing me to ask. xD <3
-> You have 48 hours to respond to this prompt; if there reaches a 'no questions' point, the rp will move on to save time. <3

As the meeting began, Shun turned his attention towards Lizzy. When she mentioned that Junko and Xiu were leaders as well, he glanced to them, surprised. Then again, it had already been a bit of a surprise that the spider demon was one of the heads, but he had learned that awhile back already. It certainly wasn't really something he would have expected otherwise. The ground rules laid out where pretty self explanatory. Nothing really beyond common sense as far as he was concerned. Their safety was something that was rather important. And it was also key that the group remained a secret in general. The mention of the fact that they were going to be talking about humans and where they stood made him grimace a bit. As far as questions went, he had none at the time, so he continued to be silent as he stood there. --- Jericho was surprised as well, really. "Wait. How did you get the website running with its security?" he asked. He didn't know the three were good at that sort of thing. For now that was all he had to ask about. Lizzy had mentioned that they weren't going to ridicule him and there were less people staring now so he was slowly easing. Slowly.
