"You're stupid," Harrison countered resentfully. That's because Jerry was a proper Sun and doing his job. Instead of tripping everywhere and calling him when Jerry already had somebody running defense.
He was glad to switch to Jerry. Who was practically obliterating this thing single-handed. Good riddance.
"This place is looking...more cleared out, any how." Previously the fog had been as thick as a brick wall, and absolutely stuffed with monsters and half-dead shrieking things.
He stood there admiring it.

Sasha gave Harrison a look. She wanted to call him a frickface or a fricker or anything else that might make her feel better, but calling others terrible names, well. "Right." Harrison stopped admiring the...admittedly still dense, but at least not as dense mist.
He'd taken the dorms for granted, up until this point. But no longer.
He stood beside Jerry, fending off anything that decided getting close to the guy with the bazooka was a good idea.
"That's because hitting things isn't even her job," Harrison called.

"We've almost got it! Another good blow or two should do it!" Jerry called out, keeping his eyes locked on the swirling mass of angry critter. It was like autopilot but... he wasn't dissociated. It was just... like practicing the piano. After a while, the body just knew what to do.
Roar gave a pleased noise in the back of his head, and Jerry rocked back from the blow with a soft smile on his face.

"Jerry," Syd called over to the bazooka wielding fighter. "Thank you!" She was alive thanks to the guy, as far as she figured. She definitely owed him for this, maybe a cake or something. She wondered if they would ever get the kitchen fixed to where she could bake one.
"You're doing great, Sasha, you can do this, you just proved it," Syd told her friend. "You and me, we work really good together, right? Let's show them that." And she shouldn't have been talking, cuz the ghastly got a tiny hit past her. She really wanted this guy dead.

Sasha decided it would be in her best frickin' interest to ignore Harrison. He was only being a .. well, honestly he was being kind of a b***h, not that Sasha would ever say such a thing out loud. Jerry hesitated, glancing over to the bristling Sasha before lifting Roar up to fire at the ceiling. HEY! The weapon indignantly scoffed, but Jerry stayed quiet. He'd helped... He certainly knew the therapeutic quality of kicking a**, and it looked like Sasha needed a dose or two herself. Wasn't fair if he hogged it all.

"Finish it off, Sasha, you definitely can do it!" Syd cheered her on, grinning almost bloodthirstily at the monster in front of them. She wanted Sasha to be the one to finish it off--it was their monster, their fight. They just needed to get stronger. And right then and there, she swore she would.
