Maybe he liked the kissing. Maybe he didn't either way once contact broke he didn't get long to feel lingering disappointment at the ending of the kiss because when he looked behind himself (after gazing confusedly after Ariane).......He got barreled into from behind and tried to pin him down. The creature was trying to wrestle with him but Jude wasn't having it as he stalwartly avoided claws and biting as best he could. MOB IN A BOX 34-65: A large, semi-solid creature barrels into you! It's slow-moving but a bit more powerful than the smaller ones. Mob Stats HP:10 Auto Damage: 3 (hit or miss)

Not only did it get a boot to the head it also got a sharp punching dagger to the gut and that was enough to convince it to get off of Jude and to pursue other venues such as trying to attack Ariane.

"No problem~ Found these boots outside someone's door," She replied, as she flung another boot to the creature's head.

"I hope they don't mind that they were used for weapon fodder," he said simply and then stabbed the creature one last time to make it dissipate. Jude paused a moment to call his weapon away to brush himself off as soon as the fight was done. He cleared his throat a little bit.
He wasn't sure what to make of the kiss. His was to make her shut up for at least two seconds. Hers was ... to prove something to him he guessed since he had been telling her she sucked at it.
Didn't make it less confusing as he just started to wander forward again.

Protesting.
He felt like he should be protesting a bit more against several things that had happened within the first few minutes. For some reason his brain just wouldn't let him. His expression went a bit glum as he glanced around for anymore takers and when none popped up he started marching forward again.
Jude had never randomly kissed someone before not even to get them to shut up but Ariane just ... She just...
...She made him jumpy. Jumpy and and ... urgh.
"Yeah, alright," he muttered under his breath as he moved along.

"Why the loooooong face?" She asked, shaking a finger at Jude as a creature headbutted her ankle, not that it hurt or anything. She sighed, and tried to wiggle free, "Just because I'm a better kisser than you?"

Jude's eyebrow twitched a bit, "I am a good kisser. I can kiss just fine, thank you." He said in a level tone.

"For one? I never claimed I was good. For two it isn't like yours was any better," he said with a bit of a grunt and then something blindsided him by barreling right into him and smashing him into a nearby wall. "Also? "Yeah. I'm done," Jude said simply his voice that odd sort of tone of tense and well... more tense. He turned and started to walk past her but he paused staring at her for a long moment his expression completely neutral.
It was too late to regret anything. It was too late to even turn back from ... whatever this was that started between them. It was unintentional but not really ... unwelcome. Confusing as it was he just reached out to grab her wrist to pull her closer to him.
"You keep insulting my kissing maybe you should help me improve," he said simply and then he pulled her just a bit closer as he leaned in and firmly kissed her on the lips - much deeper than he had earlier to get her to shut up.
He didn't pull away right away - he just held onto it for as long as he dared himself to before he pulled away, let her go, and started walking down the hall again toward the exit of the dorms.
