"Yea.....um well he's not really my father since I wasn't technically born but Professor Stein has treated me like a daughter since the very first day I was given life." chadjo97 Mercer just shrugged, not sure if she could see him at least a little or something he didn't want to talk all that much. He put a hand to his chin, he did have a question "So if Stein created you than you must be special somehow. Are you?" He asked."

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne tilted her head to one side as he spoke. "Special?" She said with a deeper blush. "I don't know about that...but I'm.... a weapon. If that's what you mean." She rubbed her cheek a bit, her left eye finally stopping the leaking of black ooze only leaving her cheek slightly stained. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mercer smiled just faintly. The first emotion he had given since coming to the school "Oh, a patchwork weapon. Very unique." He said with a very slight tinge of excitement.

Mercer shrugged "I don't believe that." He stated, he could hear the pain and sadness. Much like his own "Just because you are different does not mean you are a monster. A monster wouldn't be able to feel emotion like you, sorrow, regret, anger. You have a heart and a soul, that is all that matters. Especially to people like me who use soul sensing to see." He said, that was the most he had spoken in a long time.

"I haven't heard of that......all I can do is turn my soul energy into an electric shock....I think." She didn't quite remember the name for her power and she thought of what she did in the streets.
