Marcus laughed as it tried to bite his foot. "Dis is, or rather can be, an a**. But, he'd normally pretty good." A kick and it went back, running at them again. His boot was scuffed but he'd admit, kicking it felt satisfying.

The creature fading, Marcus smiled. "Vampire. He says he was a 'classy' vampire, whatever the hell that means. He's just a pervert really." Shrugging he looked down the hall. "Coast is clear up ahead. Shall we head back?"

Lance nodded, maneuvering his chair in order to peer around Marcus. He tilted his head to one side and held his breath, trying to listen. After a moment of consideration, he turned towards Marcus. "I'm not too sure. Feel free to head back if you want. I'm going to take another look around first."

A rumble down the hall, and Marcus tensed, getting ready for something. A short stint of silence and- A crash as what looked like a ball of gray matter hurtled into the hall way. "Son of a b***h, seriously?"

Lance met Marcus' shrug with one of his own. "Probably could, probably couldn't. Considering that I'm relying on this though?" he tapped his wheelchair with his free hand. "I'd hate to get stranded out here with it busted. Glad to have you come along for a bit more." The rumble down the hallway caught his attention. Lance readied his weapon, grinning. "Beggars can't be choosers. Besides, how many others can claim honors like this? Here we go! Ha!" He jabbed his lance forcefully at the enemy, maneuvering around his protective Moon meat shield. Lucky for Lance, Marcus wasn't going to abandon someone if he could help it. If his life was on the line however? No promises. As he got the thing, Marcus winced as it hit him back in retaliation.

Marcus took a serious second to look back at Lance. "I'm.... dating...Cass? I thought pretty much everyone knew that." A crash as the creature hit the wall before trying to get past him to hit Lance.

"Does it look like I get out much?" Lance jabbed a thumb back at himself. It was difficult to tell in this lighting, and given his olivine skin determining his level of pale was a trial in and of itself. His five o'clock shadow had grown to at least seven or eight o'clock, giving him an even scruffier appearance.
"Otherwise I think you need to spend more time with her. She's got a good head on her shoulders, and an even better aim with that revolver of her's."
