Arell heard Crystal just as he was about to leave. "I'm just goin' t' find Kai. If I ain't back in an hour, call me. If not in two, assume I'm dead." he said, picking up the trail of where Kai went off to. Little did he know that he was going to regret setting off on his own . . .

Crystal walked over to him and took his hand. "You're not going anywhere alone." She gave him a serious look. "None of us are. I won't let anything happen to anyone here. With Kai gone, I believe Kesshou, being the only one with an energy based power, is the only one that can protect us."
She pulled him to the rest of the group. "Until we find Kai, we're sticking to her original plan. Stick together and keep low. No loud noises, no sudden movements."

"Crys', I love ya che, but let go." he said with a low growl. "Las' time I wound up in a group, it was a big ********. Now just trust me fer chrissakes." he growled, wrenching himself free from Crystal's grasp. Besides, I'm a freaking were-gator! What's the WORST that's gonna happen?! he thought as he walked back out where he was going, picking up Kai's trail.
C.J., who was now sitting on a rock, looked at the two. "Yup, writer . . . the guy lost his fool mind." he said with a beat. "Ten bucks 'Rell breaks his a**!!" he yelped, but quiet enough not to bring the attention of some nasty wee beastie.
Dundee chuckled. "You're on." Dundee whispered, walking over, tripping on a root and falling flat on his face.

"I think I'm staying in this safe area... but could you please find my friends and lead them here where it's safe?"
Kai crossed her arms and looked out to the mist, a thought of possibly following the cat crossed her mind. Although she didn't want to risk anything, for the sake of her friends. The longer her human soul remained in control over her body the better.
"So, since you're a talking cat I wanted to ask... is it true that cats have a sixth sense?"
She looked at the cat with a raised eyebrow trying to distract the cat... and it was actually a very curious question of hers.

Skuld half shrugged while Robin held her, "I might very well have a concussion," then turning her face from Kesshou's to Robin's, "Are you going to whisk me away from this, o dashing masked Zorro?"

Tim blinked and helped Skuld up to her feet, hoping she wasn't too rattled that she couldn't stand. He turned his head in time to see Arell run off after Kai.
"Arell!! Rgh, Kai said to stick together..."

Artemis blinked at Kai. First she asked him to do something for her then she asked this silly question. "Well, most of us can see the fourth wall if that's what you're asking." Artie turned and walked off from Kai. "I'll be back in two shakes of a lamb's tail."

Crystal started to cry, seriously cry. "Please Arell... Don't leave me..." Her ears flopped to the sides of her head sadly.
"I'm scared..." She looked to her feet.
"Yah, Arell. It's too dangerous for us to go off alone, man." Kesshou held out her paw towards his back as he walked away. "And besides, there's safety in numbers."

C.J. looked over to Tim. "Dude, askin' Arell to stick together when he's on his own like this is like asking a twister to stay within the confines of a state. You can try, but I don't think it's gonna happen." he said with a shrug. "However if he goes gator, I'd step back." he finished, now whittling a with a big bowie knife.
Arell looked back at Crystal. "So am I. Dat's why I'm gonna go find Kai." he said and walked off into the woods. Smirking when Kesshou tried to reason the danger card. "'Sides, Kessh' . . . I live fer danger." he said, pulling out his knife. He started to follow the path but stopped. Apparently the computer in his eye was acting up something fierce!
Strangely, Dundee wasn't saying a word, messing with his phone. When Arell paused, Dundee walked up to Crystal.
"I knew this was gonna happen one day. I made an app that'll short out his eye. It'll cause a migraine 'til he gets back." he said with a smile as Arell came back.
"I'mma break dat ********' phone one day, Dun'." he growled as C.J. smirked.
"Huh, Whaddayaknow, Dun'? You ain't as dumb as I thought." C.J. said as he got up.

Kai couldn't help but think that the cat was familiar some how, if it were any other situation but this she would ask the cat more questions. She had a black demon cat sidekick in the late 1800's early 1900's. He talked but, wasn't a real cat... which is why she wanted to ask this one. Reminded her a lot of Daniel. Kai didn't budge when the cat left. She waived to him.
"Be careful okay."
Perhaps he was a demon cat to? She would have to ask if he returned with her friends. "Please find them" She thought to herself quietly.
((Yea... she originally had a cat "Demon" when she started out trying to be human. He helped her keep her sanity, more or less till she no longer wanted or required human souls then he no longer needed to be with her so one day he disappeared sweatdrop ))

 Skuld was still very woozy and end up leaning into Robin, draping one arm around the shoulders of the caped hero. Being slightly taller due to her thick heels gothic boots, Skuld's busom enhanced my her red corset was fairly close to Tim's face. Robin couldn't help but smell the goth sorceress' jasmine perfume that was applied to her neck and her sloping neckline, Skuld's response was a bit incoherant, "Oh.... this is nice. .... Wheeee... God... My head is ... spinning."

Kesshou looked at Skuld. "Yep, concussion." She poked Skuld's temple, resetting the electric impulses in her brain, clearing up the confusion from the damage.
"Be careful. I might of cleared up the 'static' but you still have a concussion." She looked back to Arell threatening Dundee and smirked.
Crystal hugged Arell. "Calm down. Let's go find her as a group instead."
It didn't take Artemis long to find the group, using the fourth wall to find them. "Kai's looking for y'all." He stared at the group with half-lidded eyes.

C.J. looked at the cat. "Another fourth-wall jumper? So you met the writers, huh?" he asked, sucking on his newly whittled toothpick. He had met a few people who could but not a full jumper. The fact that it was a cat was also a little new.
Arell calmed down a bit when Crystal hugged him. "Alright. Reckon we ain't got a lot of time. So move fast." he said and hugged Crystal back.
Dundee got up, trying to figure out just what button he pushed before Arell got ideas and hightailed it again.

Meanwhile, Red Cardinal occupied herself by walking around in the safe zone trying not to get too far from where she originally was. She stood trying not to disturb any of the surroundings of this blessed area pacing in wait, time seemed to take forever. Soon, very soon, her friends would see notice what no time will be like. It will play tricks on them. They will feel someone is moving too fast, or too slow, they will feel as if a day went by in minutes... unless they could control it or were to ignorant to notice this change. Kai herself was just too stressed about the whole ordeal to do anything about how she felt for time.

Robin turned his head up to look Skuld in the face, making sure to be careful about the current predicament and stay focused... hopefully Kesshou's actions would do the trick. Tim then looked between C.J. and Artemis.
"'Wall-jumpers'... all right."
He figured it as 'dimension' wise... at least, it was the best way to try putting this kind of thing into perspective.
"Let's not keep Kai waiting then-"
This place was weird. Robin didn't like the feeling of it... the sooner they could regroup, the sooner they find a way out of the place.

Skuld's eyes rolled upward for a moment while Kesshou zapped the goth redhead's skull, "Nnnnnnnaaaah!" Green eyes blinked for a few moments as the sorceress' head cleared noting the cat girl's warning about the concussion. As she fully became aware of holding on to Robin, Skuld's head turned in toward Robin's face, ending up less than an inch away. Skuld blushed under her thick white makeup which thankfully kept her embarrassment hidden, "Ummmm... hi. I'm not usually this forward, sir, but as I am needing steadying -- I hope you don't mind my presence. And since we're this close, perhaps introductions are in order. I'm Skuld, by the way. And you are?"
