"I-Icecream? That sounds good..." Sabitsuki tugged at the Oni's chains, shrinking away from a shadowy hallway they passed. "A-a..a little bit...I...I don't like the dark...!" She hid her face behind Yasashii's arm, shutting her eyes. "I don't like the dark! There's nothing inside... When there's light, I can see people's shadows, and their shadows have memories and thoughts... But I can't see shadows in the dark, and the darkness is empty...so empty and cold..."
She held onto Yasashii's arm firmly until they had passed the hallway, only cracking her eyes open once they were in the light again.

Akira nodded to her Shinigami. Now a bit reasurred she camr to walk by Mizuki's side,musing with a sigh,"It is silly to be afraid of a building when you are on of the many faces of death." She looked ahead on the hallway, the rooms seemed dark. "Is it not to late for any employee to be in the school?" She said to Mizuki. "You would think the children and staff would have headed home by this time."

Yasashii's chains gave the sligthest sound as Sabitsuki hanged on to them. The oni looked down smiling at the girl,"Hey, now, everyone is afraid of something~"
She tool an arm and put it around the small youkai holding her up to her side."See? With me here, the darkness can't be empty!" The oni beamed,"So, I will protect you from the darkness okay?"
As the two continued to walk, a classroom with its door opened washed meager light onto the hallway."Hey look." Yasashii said, with an arm around Sabitsuki still,"Looks like there is someone there!"
Inside thy would find the uncouncious Keine, sleeping soundly.
"...Hey.." Yasashii poked Keine's hat, wondering how to go about waking the teacher up."Any idea how you can wake her up without giving her a heart attack?"

Mizuki nodded, she and Akira were the faces of death, though, Mizuki more than Akira. Akira was more of the last face they'd see if anything, though, Mizuki didn't say anything. "Well, staff can stay as long as they like, I'd think." She said to Akira. "They could have alot of work to finish up, or something else."

"But what is it staff would do here at night? Is it not best to prepare for the class at their own home?" Akira asked,"It seems awfully dark; too dark to work actually..."
The shinigami probably new more of the outside world than the judge.

"O-okay..." She wiped a trace of moisture from her eyes with the sleeve of her shirt, the smallest of smiles finding its way onto her face. Yasashii's tall and strong visage brought comfort and reassurance to the young Youkai, something she had spent many cold and dark nights prior without.
Sabitsuki's tense and worried expression softened once they entered the classroom, the warm light within reflecting the glow of her now beaming and excited face. "Hey~! Is it the teacher, huh, huh?" She went over to Keine's side, opposite of Yasashii. She put a small hand on the were-beast's shoulder, shaking her gently. "Excuse me, miss teacher lady? Can you wake up, please?"

"Oh..." Keine began to come to, truly believing that she had fallen asleep a mid the students testing. "Excuse me children- I mus have snooze for a-" Her eyes fell on the empty seats infront of, she had indeed been awakened by someone, a small child it seemed."My," Keine remembered having staid at school, she most likely fell asleep and this small child had come to wake her up,"Aaah, who may you be, young one?" The teacher smiled kindly at Sabitsuki.
"HEY JUDGE, SHINIGAMI WE FOUND THE TEACHER!" Yasashii yelled into the hallway, startling Keine but definatly makig it so she could be overheard.

Akira looked back the way they had come,"it seems they found the teacher?"
She looked to Mizuki,"How quick..." she frowned at the fac Yasashii had just yellled,"How Rude."

Mizuki could hear the oni's yelling from where she was, just like Akira. "Yeah, well, lets go find them then." She said, turning around and beginning to walk the way they had previously come.

Sabitsuki grinned widely at the once-again-living teacher. "My name's Sabitsuki, miss! Sabitsuki K...uh, Kaibutsu!" She still pondered why the humans had named her so.
"And this is big horn lad- er, I mean, she's Yasashii! She promised to buy me ice cream if we found you first! You didn't forget, right?" The young Mirror Youkai asked her much taller companion while tugging at her clothes, not bothering to consider that Keine would have known nothing about their little deal, or that the teacher was even being searched for in the first place.
"Hey, um, teacher lady? Why were you sleeping here? Don't you have a bed? I know what that's like because I don't have a bed either! Sometimes I hide away in a shed or something until the scary darkness passes. Are you scared of the dark, too? ..." Perhaps she was over-excited at the discovery of their goal, or maybe it was the promise of cold, delicious treats, but Sabitsuki began talking non-stop to the teacher, barely pausing for a breath.

"Pleasure to meet you Sabitsuki, I am Keine," The were-hakutaki smiled at her young visitor. She looked to Yasashii as Sabitsuki tugged at the oni's clothers.
Another oni?
"Of course I will get'cha Ice cream, I promised, and an oni's promise is reality!" Yasashii grinned ruffling Sabitsuki's hair,looking towards the door as they waited for Akira and Mizuki to arrive."Geez hose twi sure do take a long time!"
"May I ask; just how many of you have tresspassed into my school?" Keine asked, but was interrupted by the mirror youkai's question."Ah...I fell asleep working on some things. Running a school takes much work." The teacher spoke with eternal patience and kindness to the child youkai, she was someone used to kids and had the most patience with them. As she ended her response she stood, taking a moment to stretch. "What is it an oni is doig above ground and in my school of all places?"
Akira had found her way to Yasashii and co. The yama didn't seem too happy with their intrusion, and stepped in as the teacher questioned them being here to begin with."Do excuse our rudeness," The judge said,"And I hope we are not interrupting anything."
"I do no mind it so long as you don't trash anything."
"ANYWAY! We are here to ask some questions! Teacher lady!" Yasashii boomed,with her hands on her hips and a grin,"We are looking for an oni! She has one horn only the other ripped off, black hair with white tips, does it ring any bells?"
Ibara was quite accurate with the time frame.
"Mh, I do think you are talking about the owner of Club Youkai, just down the road from here? Though she has no horns that I know of,"Keine said tryingnto discourage the questions and lead the crowd the wrong way. "Now, if you harm anyone in the village, I am afraid I would have to fight you out. You see, I am the protector of this village and-"
"NOHORNSMOTHEROFTHECATFISH?!" Yasashii seemed surprised,"WHATONILIVESTHATSHAME?!"
Akira sighed, and looked to Mizuki,"It seems we must make this happen, as some would say."
She took a step up to Keine, looking up at the teacher,"Best if you do tell us waht you know. I am a yama, and I can use my cleansed mirror to find ou what you know either way..."
She once more looked over to Mizuki lookig for any sort of approval; had she sounded convincing?

Mizuki nodded her head; Even without the mirror, she sounded rather convincing. "Yes, Ms.Keine, we wish to learn what you know about this oni. Please, do tell." She said to the teacher.

"Please, miss Teacher Lady! We gotta find the bad guy so Judge Lady can send her to hell!" Sabitsuki looked up to Keine hopefully, and with an innocence only a child could possess. "And then we can get ice cream! I'll share mine with you, if you want~" she said with a broad grin, as if already thinking that her bribe would work.
"Hey, what flavor do you like? I want mint...or maybe vanilla..."

"A yama?" Keine echoed silently. She wonder just what a yama would be doing in the village. Had the Ten Kings not split juridistcions into regions, and assigned Shikieiki and Komachi to Gensokyo? As far as she knew, this short girl may have been a fake!
"Send the oni to hell?" Keine looked among the crowd, "Is in it a bit redundant? They live in former hell-" She turned to the young youkai,"It's quite fine, don't worry, you enjoy your icecream."
Thinking, she might as well comply. Keine crossed her arms,"So an oni? Yes. I know who you are talking about rather well, and I must say, she knows of you being here. I refer to, Yasashii was it?"
"What is it you want to know?"
"I want to know where she is!
Akira came back to Mizuki's side,"If you do please, tell us her location.
"That matters little," Keine shook her head,"She has challenged you."
"CHALLENGED ME?" Yasashii grinned
Keine sighed,"Yes. Next full moon, here. She said to meet her outside Club Youkai, Ibarra will gladly meet you there."

Mizuki leaned back slightly. "And how exactly do you know this, Ms.Keine? And why on the full moon?" She had heard rumors about a youkai in the village that turns into a stronger youkai on the full moon. Could this be a friend of the oni's?
The teacher seemed to know a little too much. "What are you exactly?" Mizuki asked her. "You seem to know alot, especially what's going to happen ahead of time." The teacher seemed to bug Mizuki quite a bit; she knew alot of what they needed, and more.

"Yes, I am curious as well," Akira echoed Mizuki's questions, meanwhile Yasashii seemed to fore-plan her moves. An oni was an oni.
Keine looked at the Shinigami, who seemed quite annoued at the teacher. "I am a teacher, I am meant to know things," Keine smiled sligthly, though her sentence was ambiguous, and perhaps not satisfactory. "I do hope you don't mind me correcting you, but I know nothing of the future. Quite on the contrary, I am a historian, I focus in the past. The only reason I know of this was because Miss Hinarasu came to warn me of an oni lookingnfor her, as well as the possibility that she could have company with her.... As I see she was right."
"Full Moon? Because she asked it to be on such date," The were-beast responded, not wanting to disclose her secret more than need be,"Maybe it is because it is a very specific date and hour? There is no need for intermediate dates and hours for me to remember, after all, I have enough to remember as it is."
Of course, Keine knew well why Ibara had requested the hallebgento be placed in the full moon. Not only could Keine conceal the history of the village and protect it, but she could also count with a far more powerful ally under the natural satellite's full exposure. The Hakutaku Keine was a much better aide than was the human Keine.

Mizuki could sense a hint of truth to Keine's words, but still didn't trust her. "Of course, Ms.Kamishirisawa, how silly of me to think otherwise." She said with a hint of sarcasm in her tone. She then looked at Akira and told her, "I don't think we'll get anymore info out of her, so lets just come back on the full moon like the historian said." She added a hint of sarcams to historian as well. This teacher wasn't normal; she knew too much, even for a teacher.
